i'm in miui v5 rom, in this even i'm not getting my imei no.s from engineering mode>cds info> radio info> phone1 Phone2 paths as this cds info button is not enabled there to press it. but i've a doubt here i've flashed ultimate galaxy v2 rom even in that i got d same problem for imei but in engineering mode i'm able to go to cds info> radio info> phone1...... & i got my imei back in that rom, but i'm not getting in this rom.

i firstly flashed stock rom 1 and then applied this patch but now first sim works fine but second sim does not work there is a cross on second sim
i tryed to connect manualy to network no effect al forbidden networks present
and i put sim in other phone it works fine
how to make my sim work on my canvas 2 + which is gone through system storage increase

Try again and make sure u put ur both imei properly first imei is Hw and second is Sw so check that

i am facing d invalid Imei number problem, in my canvas A210. Engineering mode didn't worked. Please help me !

invalid imei solved from within the phone
1. Go to Engineering Mode with this code * # * # 3646633 # * # *
2. Type it on call pad
3. Engineering Mode show on your phone screen
4. Go to CDS info
5. Go to Radio info
6. then go to Phone1 (For the first IMEI No)
7. At the top there is a command line which begins "AT+" just type there "AT +EGMR=1,7,"IMEI_1" (Instead of IMEI_1 put your first IMEI No)
8. Hit send command
9. If you done just reboot the phone
10. If you change the second IMEI No then go to step 2 and select "Phone2"
11. And enter the code "AT +EGMR=1,10,"IMEI_2" (Instead of IMEI_2 put your second IMEI No)
12. Hit send command
13. Reboot your phone

hey bro i did as said in description but i m kinda stuck on start wrting imei i installed the driver n than run as admin load files for 6589 remove battery then insert again then connect phone boots up then write imei startes n nothin moves forwrd even after 20min of waiting plz help i hav installed a custom rom n dont want to restore bk to my stock rom plz help bro plzzzz.....

plz help mate when i do it in engg mode it says at fails to send it worked with my stock rom but dont really want stock rom n now used imei writer i got all drivers n stuff with me install n working just problem is that imei writer is idling at the start of write imei i waited for like 30min n no progress still at wrtie imei plz help i m really pissed

[Solved] [WiFi NVRAM WARNING: ERR 0x10]

Updated as on May 04, 2013 sharing working solution
At the first of this post, I would like to give full CREDIT of this solution to 'Nishroy' on whose post I have developed this step-by-step guide. I have used the same on my A110 and sharing the steps that I have followed.
Prerequisites:
On Mobile : i) it must be rooted ii) it must have root file explorer installed (i used 'Total Commander' - you can download it from Play store).
On Computer (Desktop/Laptop) : A stable Hex Editor Application. I used 'HxD - Hexeditor Ver. 1.7.7.0' on my laptop running on Windows 8 64 Bit OS.
Step wise Guide
Step # 1 : Switch on WiFi adapter on your phone.
Step # 2 : Go to 'About Phone' from Settings and note your phone's Wi-Fi MAC Address mentioned there. It should lok like xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx (xx = value of Mac Add.)
Step # 3 : Switch off WiFi adapter on your phone
Step # 5 : Launch 'Total Commander' application on your phone and navigate to File system root/data/nvram/APCFG/APRDEB and copy one file named 'WIFI' from there to the SD Card of your phone
Step # 6 : Copy this file i.e. WIFI from your SD card to Desktop on your laptop/desktop
Step # 7 : Launch 'HxD-Hexeditor' on your laptop/desktop and click on OPEN or Ctrl+O and select WIFI file (copied as per Step # 6) from desktop
Step # 8 : Refer to the first raw in the opened file and go to column no. 04
Step # 9 : Insert value of your actual MAC Address (as per Step # 2) in column 04 to 09 (Ensure that none of the value is ZERO) and SAVE this change
Step # 10 : Close Hexeditor and copy changed WIFI file from your desktop to the SD card of your phone. Delete older WIFI file from SD Card before copying this file.
Step # 11 : Once the file is copied to SD card, launch Total Commander application and move this file from SD card root to File system root/data/nvram/APCFG/APRDEB
Step # 12 : Reboot your phone
Voillaaaa! Your phone's WiFi NVRAM Error is gone now. Yes, you solved it.

Just follow these steps and hopefully it should work for your phone also.

Step # 1: Download the attached RAR file and extract it to your computer. You will find two files in it.
Step # 2: Copy these two files (extracted) to your SD card
Step # 3: Navigate to system\data\nvram\APCFG\APRDEB (You will find two files here 'WIFI' and 'WIFI_CUSTOM')

these 2 file are unique to all phone with ICS 4.0.4, or specific just for your your phone type?

DO NOT CHANGE ANY OTHER DATA EXCEPT MENTION BELOW, OR ANY UNHAPPY THING CAN HAPPEN LIKE DEAD PHONE ETC. I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR IT.
Micromax A110 IMEI can be found on the box or under side after removing the cover and battery you can find a sticker attached to the phone which has both IMEI numbers.
1- Rooted MTK 6577/6575 Smartphone
2- Mobile Uncle Tools from Google play store.
3- Install it and goto Engineer Mode
4- Select Engineer mode[MTK]
5- Under Connectivity Tab go to CDS information
6- Select Radio Information
7- Select Phone1 (for the first imei)
8- at the top there is a command line which begins “AT+” just type there “AT +EGMR=1,7,”IMEI_1″ (instead of IMEI_1 put your first imei number)
9- hit send command
10- You will / may get a confirmation that "sent to mSend".
11-Now come back and select “Phone2″
12-at the top there is a command line which begins “AT+” just type there “AT +EGMR=1,10,”IMEI_2″ (instead of IMEI_2 put your second imei number)
13-Then just reboot the phone.
14-Dial ” *#06#” to Check Imei.
Hi, the guide from 1st post doesn't work for me. There is still wifi named NVRAM warning err.... And all this guides are not permanent. After installing new rom (wipe all) you have to restore IMEI and all other once more. Do you know some solution to fix it permanently (as a new phone)?

Step # 3 : Switch off WiFi adapter on your phone
Step # 5 : Launch 'Total Commander' application on your phone and navigate to File system root/data/nvram/APCFG/APRDEB and copy one file named 'WIFI' from there to the SD Card of your phone
Step # 6 : Copy this file i.e. WIFI from your SD card to Desktop on your laptop/desktop
Step # 7 : Launch 'HxD-Hexeditor' on your laptop/desktop and click on OPEN or Ctrl+O and select WIFI file (copied as per Step # 6) from desktop
Step # 8 : Refer to the first raw in the opened file and go to column no. 04
Step # 9 : Insert value of your actual MAC Address (as per Step # 2) in column 04 to 09 (Ensure that none of the value is ZERO) and SAVE this change
Step # 10 : Close Hexeditor and copy changed WIFI file from your desktop to the SD card of your phone. Delete older WIFI file from SD Card before copying this file.
Step # 11 : Once the file is copied to SD card, launch Total Commander application and move this file from SD card root to File system root/data/nvram/APCFG/APRDEB
Step # 12 : Reboot your phone
Voillaaaa! Your phone's WiFi NVRAM Error is gone now. Yes, you solved it.

hello friends finally I have find a permanent solution for the problem of both wifi and imei.
here is the procedure .
step 1: download sn_write_station tool
step 2: extract stock jelly bean ROM in a folder
step 3: open sn_write_station and select smart phone instead of feature phone
step 4: select modem image and ap image in the folder where you extract the ROM .
step 5: now select wifi Mac address in function
step 6: now select start it will ask you for wifi Mac . enter the Mac address without ":" and press enter.
step 7: now switch off your phone and connect it to PC it will take 5 to 10 seconds to complete the processing.
disconnect the phone and start.....that's it ....so far ...no error...

try to select correct modem IMG an ap file. Then try, I have successfully solved the problem. And remember connect your phone in switched off mode only after selecting start option.

Dude.. i have the tool nd i was doing it for IMEI.... I setthe WRITE IMEI then SMART PHONE then USB VCOM then DUEL IMEI AND LOCK IMEI then META MODE then SELECTED MY JB STOCK ROM MODE AND AP DATABASE.. then when i started it it asked for IMEI (I typed it in) then connect with target.. here when i connected my handset on switch off mode it gave a message Eboot warning... comm port dosnt exist... or cnt sync the phone.... why is this msg cming up and what is it saying... and i want to know the proper way of calibrating MX A110..

Is it worked for any one...If yes I would like to try it once coz every time I install new ROM my imei will be lost, since I have backup of IMEI every time I need to restore this backup file from Mobile uncle tool. Which is annoying process after every new ROM installation.

One week after i brought my phone, I accidently formatted my device using sp flash tools and lost the IMEI/NVRAM. It has been a real pain for me to repair it because i was new to an mtk device. Finally figured out how to repair by doing many search. So I made this thread to share the working methods to help those people who are suffering from invalid IMEI
So let's start.
Always remember "Prevention is better than cure". If you are planning to flash a custom rom, First of all Backup your IMEI. Don't Trust that a custom ROM flash will not delete your IMEI number. because odds are it will. It's important to store your backup to external SD because some ROM flashing techniques will erase your internal SD. so the best way to keep your IMEI number is to take my advise and make a backup.

DISCLAIMER: Do not do try any of these methods unless your IMEI has been lost! Doing so may permanently corrupt your imei partition.​
IMEI Backup & Restore Methods:
1. Mobile Uncle Tools:
1. Open the App,
2. Select IMEI BACKUP RESTORE (MTK)
3. Choose BACK UP TO SDCARD (MTK)
4. Reboot
>> (to restore, choose restore from sd card)
2. MTK Droid Tools [PC Required]:
1. Switch on the phone and connect it to pc.
2. Go to settings->about phone.
3. Tap build number for 7 times.
4. Go back and enter developers options, and check usb debugging on.
5. Start MTK Driod Tools and click root. grant root permission in phone.
6. Click IMEI/NVRAM and click backup or restore as required.
>> (to restore, choose the backup file from nvram backup folder)
Temporary IMEI Restore (without Backup):
(These are Temporary Methods, so you need to do this every time you upgrade Firmware, install a new rom, or doing a factory reset.)
1. Chamelephon
1. Install Chamelephon.apk
2. Open App
3. Type both IMEI Numbers
4. Click "Apply new IMEIs"
5. Reboot

2. MTK Droid Tools [PC, ADB Drivers Required]
1. Enable USB debugging
2. Open MTK Droid tools in PC
3. Allow USB debugging in phone if asked
4. Click ROOT button in MTK droid tools
5. Click Yes and Grant/Authorize root permission in phone
6. Click IMEI/NVRAM option in MTK droid tools
7. Type both IMEI numbers
8. Select "Replace IMEI"
9. Click OK
10. Reboot!

1. Download "NVRAM Wifi Fix.zip"
2. Enter Recovery
3. Install the zip
4. Reboot
Permanent IMEI Restore(without Backup):
1. Maui META 3G Tool
1. Install "Maui META 3G Tool" on your PC
2. Open it.
3. Click "Options ↦ Connect Smart phone into META mode"
4. Click on Reconnect button
5. Switch off your phone
6. Connect via USB Cable
7. Change "Get Version" to "IMEI Download"
8. Click "Change NVRAM Database file"
9. Download & extract "NV Ram Database Files.rar"
10. Select "BPLGUInfoCustomAppSrcP_MT6582_S00_MOLY_WR8_W1315_MD_WG_MP_V5_1_wg_n"
11. Type both IMEI numbers
12. Click "Download to flash"
13. Click "Upload from flash"
14. Close the IMEI Download Tab
15. Disconnect
16. Switch on the phone.
2. IMEI&SN Writer
Didn't tried this method. Hope this too will work!
1. Flashing NVRAM.bin (Recommended for Lolipop Roms )
1. Install SP flash tool
2. Load Scatter file
4. Now press download
5. Connect your phone without battery
6. Insert battery & turn on your device when you see the green tick.

NVRAM Error and Serial Number fix with SN WRITE STATION TOOL on unite 2
Hey Guys as u know imei fix with muai meta software guide is already given on first post of unite 2 thread .... So i don't need to guide here to all of you keep in mind before fix imei with muai meta please reset your phone otherwise it sometimes don't detect..
Here in this Guide i will describe how to fix NVRAM error and write serial number with sn Write Station tool
I have also unite 2 8gb model and i have tried it successfully on my lollipop unite 2 device if you are on kitkat may it will work but this guide is only for lollipop users :
steps:
Before starting please see if you have already installed mediatek usb vcom drivers which is needed for flash rom using sp flash tool.
1. First of all download sn write station tool v1.5.3--20121018. i test it with this version.
2. Now extract your stock rom.
3. Now run sn write station tool and select smartphone from platform drop-down option.
4.Select usb instead uart mode.
5. Now tick on sn and wifi only under write item section.
6. Now write your serial number of your device in sn textbox.
7. In wifi textbox write your wifi mac address without colon. after correct wifi address written a green tick will appear.
( To know your correct wifi address go to setting>wifi> option advance>MAC address>
here you will see your correct address write down on sn tool without colon. )
8. Now select db file from extracted rom. name of file is APDB_MT6582_S01_L0.MP2_W15.09
9. Now click on start.
10. Now tick usb debugging in device and switch off your device and connect to computer with battery.
11. in sn write tool it will show successful :good:
12. Sometimes sn write tool switch on your mobile in meta mode but don't write sn and wifi address. Just unplug your device and reconnect it with same condition in which you plup out your device..
if it is in on (boot logo) situation then connect it as it is. otherwise connect it again in switch off mode again.
13. Sn write tool do its work. after successful unplug your device and restart your phone.
This method is successfully tested by me. may be it will helpful to you.

I didnt have it right now. Don't know that where did i find those drivers. Search it in google. I will try to figure it out as i got some free time.

I tried this method but every time I tried, I was getting "Entre Meta Mode Failed" I am unable to understand why my device is not going into meta mode. I have written IMEIs and MAC IDs with this tool on Canvas HD, hell lot of time.
The process for Canvas HD is little different, I used to select both the database files, first "BPLGUInfoCustomAppSrcP_MT6589_S00_MOLY_WR8_W1248_MD_WG_MP_V6_P18" and then this one "APDB_MT6589_S01_MAIN2.1_W10.24" secondly I used to power on my device "Power On" msg was displayed on SN Write Tool.
I tried all possible scenario, selected only one database file, changed the sequence of selecting database files, tried to turn it off after hitting start but worked nothing for me.
When we select Database files the window opens twice, did you select same file both the times? And have you tried to write all the things together, means IMEIs, MAC ID of BT and MAC ID of Wifi in just one go?

Yes i select same file for twice name of file is given above in my post and i never try to write other things like bt address, imei same time but i want to say don't try to write bt address because it will show error every time when you try to write and i also want to say that imei number can be written with this tool but select only imei don't other things like sn number, wifi mac address.......etc. try one thing only at same time. means when you want to write imei then select only imei but you can choose sn and wifi mac address at same time it can be flashed successfully......

I got this issue while running on lolipop firmware, trying to write imei with my PC running Windows XP, but for kitkat, it works.. These applications didn't worked for me in Windows 8.1 and 10

Bro thanks for helping me. I hv one last question i hv nv ram.bin file of my stock rom ok but when i load scatter file in sp flash tool there is no option to flash nvram.bin if u try figure it out i will appreciate.

How to Fix Invalid IMEI Problem of a MediaTek Android Phone

Usually Invalid IMEI error occurs after you flash your MediaTek device. No need to worry as there is a simple fix for this issue. No need of root privileges on either method.
Method 1: (Works even if your phone a single error of Invalid IMEI or both if you have a dual sim)
1. Open dialpad and input *#06# (If a single sim is working you can see an IMEI and another is invalid, you can find invalid IMEI under battery of your phone)
2. Copy IMEI number.
3. If no sim is working you can find those numbers just below your phone battery.
4. Open mobile uncle, click engineer mode and chose android or mtk.
5. Go to connectivity, CDS Information, then radio information and chose the sim that isn't working, either one or two.
6. For sim 1 press phone 1, Click on AT+ on the top and type these AT+EGMR=1,7,"XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX"..... Here "XX.....X" is your IMEI number. Type it (make sure its in quotes). Now click send then reboot.
7. If invalid sim is sim 2 then click phone 2 and type AT+EGMR=1,10,"XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX" , click send then reboot.
Method 2:
Dial “* # * # 3646633 # * # * 2- then follow that path –> CDS info –> Radio info –> Phone1 (for the first imei) 3- at the top there is a command line which begins “AT+” just type there “AT +EGMR=1,7,”IMEI_1? (instead of IMEI_1 put your first imei number) 4- hit send command 5-if you done just reboot the phone, if you change the second imei go to step 2 and select “Phone2? 6-and enter the code “AT +EGMR=1,10,”IMEI_2? (instead of IMEI_2 put your second imei number) hit send command 7-reboot 8-Dail ” *#06#” Check Imei(onlyshow the first one)

I've got info for first time: "This command is not allowed in UserBuild" because my ERGO A500 add by himself this AT+ command without space

The best tool for fixing Invalid IMEI in MTK devices is Maui META. Google it.
When it is installed connect your device (make sure you have the correct USB drivers and debugging enabled in developer options)
The tool works on your phone whilst the device is in META mode.
There are many guides online on how to use it,
It works better than anything else and it is incredibly user friendly,

The Engineering mode method doesn't work on all phones. Tools like SN Writer, Maui Meta and hardware boxes / dongles (e.g Infinity CM2, Miracle box, NCK box etc) would prove more reliable. You can read up mod edit - blog links removed for many other methods
