How to flash CM10.1.3 on galaxy ace plus + camera fix
Hi Guys! I will show you in this thread how to flash the CM10.1.3 on galaxy ace plus and how to fix the camera!

First Check That You Have These Things:
All Samsung drivers already installed
GT-S7500 ONLY (NO OTHER VARIANTS!)
All neccessary packages Downloaded
Windows PC
Patient
Now you have to flash cwm on your phone,I prefer 5.0.2.8 :
1)Download the cwm package(recovery.tar)
2)Download odin3 and extract
3)Now you have to enable USB Debugging in your phone By going to Settings=>Applications=>Development
4)Now turn off your device and boot into download mode(volume down+home+power) and press volume up to continue
5)In your PC open odin3 and connect your phone to your computer,wait until ID:COM turn yellow in odin3
6)Make Sure that "Auto Reboot" and "F.Reset Time" are checked and "Repartion" is UNCHECKED
7)Press PDA and choose the cwm package (it must be a .tar or .tar.md5 package) and press start
8)Wait 1 min and odin will finish the process,you will see PASS and your phone will Reboot

What's not working:
Camcorder
Flash light
Now flashing the cm10.1.3 rom:
1)Download the cm10.1.3 rom from here http://www.mediafire.com/?cft4ug29b2am587
and gapps from here http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-jb-20130301-signed.zip
2)Copy these packages to the root of your External SD of your phone
3)Turn off your device and boot to recovery mode(volume up+volume down+home+power)
Wipe data/factory reset,wipe cache and wipe davilik cache
4) Now press "install zip from sdcard" than "choose zip from sdcard" and then select the cm10.1.3 package and "Yes"
5)Wait to finish installation and now repeat the same thing but choose the gapps package instead of the cm10.1.3 package
6)When it finish,press "Reboot System Now"
That's it!The cm10.1.3 is now successfully installed and your android version is 4.1.2 !!
NOTE:The first boot will take some time(~5min) so don't panic!!!

But maybe the camera will work,so check it before doing anything.

Of course,BBM will work on any rom that have android 4.0.4 or up

Hey bro,yes sometimes if you make a mistake you will stuck in a bootloop but you can fix it by falshing it again!
And by the way i updated the thread to cm10.1.3 which the whisper is working great!

ohhh idk why m i writing this post alright READ THIS WERY CAREFULLY this build that you are sharing is made by theWisp last sommer and it has no camera(arm pie enabled) its laggy it has no radio in one word its outdated after that build theWisp relased a cm10.1.2 build which was fine it worked pretty well but still a alot of non working stuff then theWhisp stopped compiling builds for sgap and last month a user called techkang compiled a build with almost all bugs fixed.......and dont be rude when a senior is telling you something :angel:

Yes you are right but don't forget that cyanogenmod is an unofficial ROM and have alot of problems.I would recommend to flash the cm10 i tried it everything is fine but no camera.

1. Wipe data/factory and cache
2. Wipe dalvik cache
3. Flash the ROM
4. Flash the ics gapps
5. Wipe data/cache again.
6. Reboot

-Go to paranoidandroid settings - configuration - choose tablet optimised
-Change the dpi for systemui and framework-res to 160 (for ICS only)
-Go to system - navigation bar - select softkeys
-Toggle "expand desktop" by pressing the power button for switching to full screen while playing games or using any other full screen app.
The beauty of this ROM is in customizing it, the better u play with paranoidandroid settings, the better u will make the look of the ROM. Advanced users shud share the customization here in this thread, I will add those in the OP.

Bhai , getting bootloops again and again . was on wr 1.6 , green lense defy , wiped everything , flashed 2nd build , flashed kernel ,flashed ui fixes and then wiped cache and data . still getting bootloops. dimaag khaarab ho gya hai bro !!

i think it cant be quarx 8th march nightly , as it is a 4.0.4 ROM
Update PARANOIDANDROID Version to 1.5a
If you will update the PARANOIDANDROID version the USB Bug will disappear

Its based on the latest nightly of Epsylon3 (27062012) with froyo kernel.
procedure if u r on froyo cm9 by epsy:
wipe data/factory and cache
flash the ROM
flash the ics gapps
wipe again.
reboot
go to paranoidandroid settings - configuration - choose tablet optimised and reboot.
enjoy the ROM and play with it
Please note that this is a port from Galaxy S2 and there are some parts which still needs to be modified. There is no file explorer in the rom so please download one from market. I ported in a hurry. As of now there is still cm9 bootanimation. I shall release an update.zip very soon containing fixes.

is it just no adb or no connectivity at all
At the moment no usb connectivity but it shud not be a big problem to fix.

Buddy its still alpha state so you can try it but still so many bug's are there....
yes you can flash on Neo V3 but follow the instruction's......

Don't flash it on XWLA4! When I did, I had to face force close problems and no auto synchronization. Also I couldn't sign into my google account.
So then I flashed ZSLE6 first and then flashed this ROM. Then everything worked perfectly [Those which should work].

I've also flashed on Neo V3 only buddy but i haven't faced any issues....

Kindly include the step to take a backup of the previous firmware as a step before all the others.
In case of boot loop they can restore their previous firmware from the backup created. I've just added this in the FAQ's.
Correct me if I'm wrong ?

I am pretty sure, I flashed it correctly. Anyone else facing this issue?
I was so convinced this morning that I will never have to back to stock rom again on my Galaxy R. Still haven't reverted back but sooner or later I will have to if I can't fix this.
Any help is appreciated.

Now I fallow all instruction but when I flash it on my sgr with CWM 4.0.0.2 and than CWM 5.5 both I face same problem
I got msg zip package flashed successfully but when i boot my mobile it's keep repeating boot animation and didn't boot up I waited for 10 mins.
any one facing same problem plz help me

Maybe you can try wipe data / factory reset again in recovery.
It once happened to me on the Blade while flashing CM7 when wipe data again did the trick.

Can someone at least confirm if I am using the right zip file? I even verified md5sum and my zip is 100% correct.
I reverted back to stock everything works fine. Then I tried again with CWM 4.0.0.2 and still no incoming calls.
Someone please help me. Am I doing something wrong or am I the only unlucky one?

Squadzone officially released a new Cyanmobile yesterday only for 3 devices
and long time ago he has also announced that he has stooped development for galaxy fit

I think we will not get the stable release........check out the mad team forum......he released the stable release for 3 phones.....and said that for other devices u will have to port it........

Ya!...I know that!...I thought he will continue fit project also! Lol...Thanx alot for porting it bro!...By the way can u also port the kernels that Squadzone uses in Mini because they are really fast, stable and efficient than any other kernels!...Please try to port the kernel as well!

when music is playing then lockscreen is a bit laggy.........plz fix that

Sorry about this but now i have an issue with my GT-S5300 that its TS (Touchscreen) bricked because of my fail playing on the /sys/devices/virtual/touch folder .. So this project aint continued again.

Actually this CM9 version for Galaxy Pocket is unofficial, it's still working in progress and cannot use for daily usage, almost all major functions are not working 'cause the manufacturer who is responsible for releasing the drivers (The device uses broadcom chip so broadcom drivers are needed to be able to get all functions working). I'm not sure about this but I think your device isn't supported by Cyanogenmod until a developer makes a magic on it putting Cyanogenmod on top of it. Until now, I don't see a large number of developers working for Galaxy Pocket Duos for Cyanogenmod but even there are developers working on it, they need the required broadcom drivers to make Cyanogenmod run on Pocket Duos smoothly. But if they did not, it is impossible to build a Cyanogenmod version to support Pocket Duos. Try to check on Samsung Galaxy Y Android Development, you can see they did running CM7 and CM9 on their Galaxy Y but with patches because they lack of broadcom drivers (Broadcom sucks, they do not release drivers cause they're afraid of copying their own codes by someone else geez) So next time you'll by a device, make sure it runs on Qualcomm because Qualcomm is very friendly to developers lol, they always release the needed drivers in request by developers

have tried this, works good except for all the bugs, mainly wifi, connecting to computer and service.

Well hell, finally a MIUI port and for once the non-P gets it first lol! Good job though and enjoy non-P users.
Well yeah, nice to see a new rom for the non p version for a change, but a port for the P version would be great too! If no one has time to do it, I can do it, but please guide me through the differences between the P and non P version.

Man, I am SO jealous lol, MIUI is my favorite ROM by far but alas I got the P. Regardless, tyvm for sharing these. Makes me hope we'll get there eventually. Would be awesome.
