There is no answer option for incoming calls. Just "silence" and "ignore".

is not possible, sadly, not even with call handler pro, something htc changed in their phones, doesn't work on my Butterfly S either
Well I am using HTC One SV and can easily answer calls with call handling pro. With the native call handling though, you can only answer calls with Xperia handsets.
Now I think answering calls from the watch itself is to me at least not that important. When the phone is in your pocket without a headset, answering calls with speaker ON is useless. To take the call you need to take the phone out of your pocket anyway.
Now when you have a wired or wireless headset, you can always answer the call with the button on the headset. That is the setup I am using anyway. I have a wired urbanears headset with the answer button on it, so when I am out walking around, when I get a call, I take a look at the watch. If I want to reject the call I do it on the watch. If I want to take it, I use the button on the headphone. Win-win to me at least.
Note: just for the ability to answer calls I purchased custom call handling pro. Used it a little while but I am back to Sony app.

I guess you guys have android 4.3 on your phone's. Unfortunately One SV only has 4.2.2. So I guess as you said, it maybe HTC or even Google who has done something so that you can not answer calls via the watch.
Does anyone know how does pebble fare when it comes to call handling?

Is anyone else running Call Handling Pro with the HTC One? I really don't want to purchase the app if it does not work.

Buy and try it from playstore? Don't you have 15min time to try and returned it back, if it's not working.
But why is it always HTC when somebody has some problem?

Strangely that Call Handling Pro can't answer call with my HTC One X (ViperX rom), but sony's Call handling smart extension showing answer button and it work.
May you try this.

I should believe all recent HTC phones have the feature, and its so common it doesn't get a mention anymore.
I think the flip to speaker one, while on a call is new, though.

Hi there
Having here the sms ussd mod and enoying 3G GSM sms sending/receiving on my xoom but question arise on how to make calls ?
I mean I can call and take incomming calls but there is a deep silence ...
Hi new-noob,
Xoom hardware doesn't support calls, I mean you can receive them, but you won't be able to speak or hear what the other says. It's all about hardware....

From your normal phone, you dial a short number with star and hash to check your credits, or to subscribe for a service or to a ringtone, well this is called ussd.

Well i dont think it is a hardware problem. iPhone 4 has the exact same radio like the motorola xoom 3g (The Qualcomm MDM6600)
Maybe the firmware motorola has flashed into the radio disabled voice call capabilities?
Samsung Galaxy tab does not support voice call but after installing a firmware mod (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=929479) it can now voice call over GSM
what do you think?
Hmmm. Interesting. Can't really give you a firm answer on the firmware mod, but what I tested was that Xoom couldn't get voice call on. Simply the call might get thru, but voice can't be established as device speaker / mic don't function / get triggered with that.

Hello
I would like to have my htc one s, to record phone calls,'ve tried a lot of app, without the works, the recorder only from the phone mic ...
I found a guide, good enough for a htc one x, which we had to install a Sound_Phone_Original_REC.zip file from the recovery menu. It did not work either ..
I have examined whether it is legal, and that's it.
My phone is rootet.
Is there anyone who can help?

Just press 4 while in a call. But it announces that it is recording the call.

I believe that recording both ends of a call on the device requires kernel support.
I have had very good luck with Sanity. It records both ends and at a pretty good quality.

You should use MIUI rom. It has an integrated call recorder thats works absolutly perfect and records 'both ends of the line'.

this used to work for me, when i was on viper rom 1.2, but since upgrading to 2.2, this no longer works.
in fact, using the patch disables sound during call, both incoming and outgoing sound.
I will have to close this thread, as call recording is illegal in some countries. Best not to talk about things that may be illegal in some countries
Anyone aware of an app for the sw2 that will allow you to answer phone with speaker on?
Thanks for any suggestions.
Try call handling pro in google play. I believe it has that option.

Hello All,
Hope you are doing good. Here, I'm posting a question after goggling a lot with no solution.
I have two android phones, Samsung Galaxy Tab and HTC Desire X.
I have inserted my SIM into Galaxy Tab and currently browsing, texting and making/receiving calls only on that.
As you know, it is very difficult to talk using Tab as it is heavy. So, I want to receive those calls on my HTC Desire X (by using some app, please note that it doesn't have SIM).
Please let me know if there is a way to receive calls from different phone.(I don't prefer bluetooth headset)
I tried tablet talk, but it works in other way. Using this I can receive SMS and calls on tablet but cannot receive on HTC desire x (non-tablet)
Thanks
And I prefer this third party app should use bluetooth for sync.
I prefer not to do it at all because if someone gets into my account they have everything on my phone so yeh

It sounds cool but actually difficult to be carried out.
Never heard of any technique that enables a phone without a SIM card to call and send SMS via another phone.
Have you heard about tablet talk
