Note : Don't remove your current camera app. This camera is for the Motionshot. Otherwise you can use your current camera app for daily needs.
This won't replace the stock camera, will it?..

Looks nice but why is it taking such a long time to take one snap?.. what is the special feature of this camera?..

Dude, it is an APK file that will not replace your current camera app. And because of analysis to find an object from recorded motion shot, it will take some time.

the action shot feature of the stock samsung camera app is pretty cool. I'd like to be able to get the same functionality out of the aokp rom, which doesn't have samsung's camera app.
from what i've read, it doesnt seem like anybody can just install the stock camera apk becuase it uses some stuff from touchwiz.
anyone know of a stand alone app that has the same functionality?

You can use the Fast Burst Camera. Its on the play store for 4$

this is not the same as the action shot feature of samsung's camera.

Move aap to System with Correct permissions. Make Sure to backup original first..

It looks alright but it's not got a picture of the screen which does raise some concern.
But with all due respect I don't know what you are asking for as there isn't much in the picture to determine its condition as everything show is easily replaceable like the battery and cover so any main marks would be on the trim/screen which isn't visible
I ran my play store updates last night after coming home from a concert and today while taking a picture of my soba noodles I noticed the ui is different. Did we get an update? Anyone know what changed aside from ui and probably lollipop support? I do know that the gallery updated but Dont remember seeing an update to the camera.

Yes. It added a timer and twist to switch between the two cameras while the camera app is running.
