the action shot feature of the stock samsung camera app is pretty cool. I'd like to be able to get the same functionality out of the aokp rom, which doesn't have samsung's camera app.
from what i've read, it doesnt seem like anybody can just install the stock camera apk becuase it uses some stuff from touchwiz.
anyone know of a stand alone app that has the same functionality?
i've asked this exact question... actually. i thought this was my thread when i saw it ;P.
but none that ive found yet...
You can use the Fast Burst Camera. Its on the play store for 4$

There was a cool app call VR Hologram on HTC WM Device.
If you miss it on Android, I make it available on android market.
The app just use your phone's accelerometer to do the VR stuff,
but it need a more decent hardware to do the 3D stuff, like a 1g Snapdragon device is recommended.
This version will randomly select cub, sphere, or the billboard to display.
If you found it still fun and want more feedback are welcome.
You can try it here:

No, it shouldn't. Sometimes it need a few second to stable the accelerometer reading.
Takes me back to using my Omina i900 device about 3 years ago lol
Every now and then, I happen across an app that although isn't very useful, has such a cool party trick it must be downloaded. I discovered TouchRetouch, a pretty good photo editing app. There are plenty out there (I've been a fan of PicSay Pro for a long time) but this one has a nice trick.
Ever taken a picture and had some unwanted person/item/eye-sore spoil it? Well this app has a very good interpolation trick to quickly remove it! Check these out which I have done (very quickly too)...

Get to the Choppaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!
Considering what the app had to cope with in the last photo, I think its done very well!
This is the free version. The paid version has the usual extra resolution stuff and extras.

Hey guys,
I saw this pretty cool UI in a movie and I was hoping someone would have an idea of how to create it?

Pretty much the pages are replaced by rotating semi-circles and you can changes these pages by scrolling left and right. Anyone have an idea on how to do this? Theres a bunch of opening animations as well, but this is the main feature I want.

I'll try to get more screenshots of it later, but after this scene in the movie, they don't really show the homepage of the phone anymore.
What else do you need to see about the UI? That way I'll know what to look out for.
Hi, got another clear screen shot of the UI for you.
The 2nd one is the page/ axis switching right.
Just to inform you guys. People have been wondering if air view is working in GE roms.
And have been saying that it will only work on stock apps.
Well that information is partially true.
Since the air features is a hardware dependant feature, it's possible to get it to GE roms. Or well it's not necessary to get something working when it's already working.
Reason why you isn't possible to do anything is. There's no apps that can handle this (or only one, but it's called testing the phone features)
See for yourself if you don't believe me. So coming and say won't be able to use air motion features because that's literally bull talk.
Right now we can't enjoy it but for sure in the feature.
To see if it actually is working write *#0*# don't remember who posted that info that he found out that it actually works but credits to him.

I ran my play store updates last night after coming home from a concert and today while taking a picture of my soba noodles I noticed the ui is different. Did we get an update? Anyone know what changed aside from ui and probably lollipop support? I do know that the gallery updated but Dont remember seeing an update to the camera.

Yes. It added a timer and twist to switch between the two cameras while the camera app is running.
Is this the stock camera app?

yum, that looks like it could use some rooster sauce.
I'm on one of the ghost ROMs, could I find the apk for this? And would I be able to install it?
