Any ROM can just adjust the DPI with a build prop editor.

SD Card?
Thanks for your work here, Dude.
But...has anyone else had problems with the SD card not mounting? File manager says it's not, I can't get any data off it, even after returning to CWM and manually mounting it--it came back "No SD card mounted."
I'm pretty sure this wasn't the case at first, since I was able to restore my apps using TiBu, but after the first reboot following the restore, it seems to have disappeared. I don't have any super-special apps running.
Or is it just me?

Only rom that nhl game center and flash player works on. Well done!!

Maybe if you read the HK OP lmao. here I will quote some of it.
Here is a quick list of our differences from CM:
- RED THEMED!!!
- AWESOME RED DEVIL DROID WALLPAPER!!!
- Init.d Tweaker built into the settings menu
- LCD Density Changer built into settings
- Option to add date to status bar (Thanks Slim)
- Transparency options for notification drawer
- Transparency option for Lockscreen
- DARK System UI (Thanks Slim)
- More to come!!!
Things to expect in the future (because we had them in Hellybean)
- Ability to change tile colors
- HALO
- PIE (Color option included)
- Active Display
- and we'll probably grab more things as we go!

The last time I tried hellcat, I don't think I had much video capability for example, netflix would not work, flash player didn't work, video recording didn't work, other live video streaming apps didn't work. With this I am not having any problems. Overclocking is working well too. This may have changed with updates to hellcat. I may give it a try.

Sorry, but:
Can you please explain differences and benefits of Linaro?
I mean no just features like OC or additional governors etc but benefits of Linaro as a platform.
If it is possible
Thank you

Hi,
Flashed this Rom today,
So far it is great:thumbup:
I only have 2 things I noticed:
1. In camera settings under scene the icons do not match their caption...
2. I have been using AdAway on previous JB roms and it was blocking ads perfectly, now it does not... even after fruit to simlink the hosts file to data, application shows it is working but in fact it does not...
Maybe related to selinux? Which I wasn't able to change modes...
Thanks
H

Linaro doesn't add those features it's just a toolchain used to build. Supposedly it is more efficient but honestly in real world tests offers no real difference.

[KERNEL][3.0.61] Nibbles v0.1.4 (CPU OC/UV, GPU OC, big.LITTLE) (2/8/13) [TEAM ROOK]

Nibbles Kernel v0.1.4
Base: Team Fah-Q's Lightning Zap (Original Version)
Linux Version: 3.0.61
Overview:
I originally made this exclusively for the Nibbles ROM just to see if I could do it. I've had countless messages asking to release this as a separately supported Kernel for the SR. So, here it is. This is the version currently included in the Nibbles ROM and I intend to keep them in sync. To those of you that bugged the crap out of me about this new thread ... here you go ... enjoy.
Compatibility:
AOSP / CM10 ROMs / JellyBean / Non-Touchwiz ROMs
Samsung Skyrocket, Hercules and T-989 (you will need rotation fix for 989 - don't ask me for it)
Features:
CPU Speeds up to 1.782GHz
Under/Over Voltage Support
GPU Over Clocked (based on which you choose to download)
ARM big.LITTLE Topology
1.5GHz Fast Boot
USB Fast Charge
Added Governors
Added I/O Schedulers
MSM mpdecision
Lots of other changes and tweaks.
CPU Governors:
intellidemand, pegasusq, gallimaurfy, interactivex, smartassv2, wheatley, interactive, conservative, userspace, ondemand (tweaked slightly), performance
I/O Schedulers:
noop, deadline, cfq, sio, vr, bfq, zen
Init.d Scripts:
smart zipalign at boot
governor (ondemand tweaks) - edit as necessary
systweaks
vacuum sqlite db optimization
Notes:
First boot may be slow as zipalign and sqlite tweaks run for the first time.
Installation will wipe cache and dalvik.

The difference between the downloads is only the GPU speed. You can download and flash either of these at any time without wiping your system. Note that the installation will wipe your cache and dalvik, so after you reboot, let the apps setup and settle for a few minutes.

A brief guide on how to include this in your own CM10 ROM.
Add the following to your local_manifest.xml:
<project name="carvsdriver/msm8660-common_nibbles" path="kernel/samsung/msm8660-common" remote="github" revision="jb-nibbles" />
<project name="carvsdriver/vendor_nibbles-kernel" path="vendor/nibbles-kernel" remote="github" revision="master" />
Next, you'll need to update your cm.mk file with this:
$(call inherit-product, vendor/nibbles-kernel/nibbles-kernel.mk)

Team ROOK for being awesome
Team Cyanogenmod for CM10
m4570d0n
Stuff in the works:
Revamped GPU clocks... I found that 3D @ 320 / 2D @ 228 seems to work pretty well and has a relatively good balance. The 2D GPU doesn't like being clocked beyond 228 at all.
Some governor work - likely will remove ondemand and conservative since they're effectively pointless with the other governors present.
And anything else I feel like screwing with ...
First!!!!!! Oh yes I'm cool. Pffft bwahahahaha looks good enough to flash. Will report later

That's the thing. I can't find a stock voltage table. I looked in Faux old kernel thread and he has a voltage table but I don't know whether it's for the base of his kernel or stock values. Of course system tuner won't let you check until you have a kernel flashed that allows user defined voltage. So if the DEV already dropped the stock values that's what you'll see. Anyone know the stock voltages? Or an app that let's you check stock voltage?

Great work! Smooth and quick! I am beginning to think that the problem I have with incorporating this kernel into my PACman ROM has to do with this building smoothly with CM ROMs. I realize that PAC has CM in it, but for some reason, the build does not compile Nibbles or LZ in the process, no matter what I do. Somewhere in the process, it reverts back to CM stock. I've altered dependancies and everything else, and always the same result. But, I digress. You are putting out top-notch work and everyone appreciates it! Be cool

Xylon is fully transformed distribution for Android Devices. It is designed to take full advantage of the device’s hardware and to provide the user pure Android experience. The team is constantly working on making things better for the users and are happy to do so. We, the team, believe that for one to experience the pure taste of Android, he/she should be provided with something which is fast, intuitive and fluid – That’s where we come in – To provide you that. Xylon started as a part of the Fruits & Veggies (FNV) project, a community ROM for the Galaxy Nexus and is now set up individually but it’s roots are based on FNV. remicks, the founder of the FNV – inspired me to build something that would make users love of what they use daily.
P.S This ROM is fully based on FNV though...[/B]
Common Daily 'speedy' features.

Hey daX any idea why I cant get USB to work in v14? Everytime I plug in a USB cable android.media.process crashes. Also, if I go to Settings > Storage the settings crash as well. This issue is driving me crazy trying to figure out whats going on.
Edit:
v12 works fine.
I've clean and dirty flashed to 14 from 12
I've tried a couple different kernels
I've tried CMW and TWRP for wiping data and formatting internal storage
Stopped and started all process that use Media and Mediaserver
As always for daxmaxx work, sub

Nice, looks awesome. I have a question though. Why is the Xylon for the Nexus 4 in the Original Development, whereas this is here?

LOL let's say it doesn't, when you only flash the ROM you turn your device into a Nexus S because by default you don't get Nexus 4-ish onscreen nav keys, and (I say it again) modding this out via build.prop will make the OSN look big and ugly. So here, to make this ROM match the "Nexus 4" promise, here I packaged a modded framework-res flashable zip to enable a SIZE-MODDED onscreen nav key experience.
Screenshot:
As usual I don't guarantee the zip will work so back it up before flashing!

Don't forget to use Nova/Apex/Holo to create a shortcut for "Advanced Settings" app and disable capacitive key lights!! You know that looks BEAUTIFUL!

Yea, I check his Goo.im a couple times a day to see what new tidbits have turned up! lol
He posted a new TRaK on the 17th, but that's his "basically stock" kernel, according to him. I think I might have n00bed him to death though, he hasn't responded to my PMs from last weekend haha Wherever he's lurking, he might be interested to know that the latest Nitest that Didhy compiled fixed the my Voodoo Colors issue I had been bugging him about

Bad at keeping track of xda messages. The latest track is 3.0.72 kernel instead of stock 3.0.56 thanks to didhiy. Same no mdnie, tweaked govs and io sched, and some other small improvements. More to come later. Hope to get the files to unjust tomorrow or tonight if he's up in 5 hours
Working on a nitextxfc release still, minor issues on that, and mainly working on xylon. Got the bt issue mostly figured out so its almost good to go.

you can update the version by applying incremental patches
https://www.kernel.org/diff/diffview.cgi?file=/pub/linux/kernel/v3.x/incr/patch-3.0.72-73.xz
download and extract the patch, then
patch -p1 < patch-3.0.72-73
do the same for each update

I dont know the exact technical difference.
Correct me if I am wrong, but as per my understanding, apps perform/works faster on ART than on dalvik
But l guess some of apps didnt support ART.
Also I read somewhere, google is making ART as only runtime compiler in future builds
apps work fast if u have plenty amount of ram...in dalvik compiler apps get compiled only in parts like only the part of the app thats in use...in art the full app gets compiled as u press it....so in dalvik...random cpu surges means up and down causes battery drain...but in art the whole app gets compiled in runtime thats why its android run time opposed to dalvik jit or just in time....the whole compiled app runs much faster and battery use is improved due to absent of frequent cpu use and cpu surges.
Sent from my GT-I9500 using XDA Free mobile app
thats y art wasnt implemented earlier coz of devices with low ram...but now even the budget phones have 1gb ram...so art can be implemented permanently.
