OK I know this is an Android forum... & I have already seen articles about transferring [game] data between Android to Android (& even googled iPhone to iPhone) but here's a challenge......
Is it possible to transfer the game save data from, say 'Subway Surfers' on iPhone, to 'Subway Surfers' on Android ??
If so - How ?? (in nice easy steps if possible)
A friend is taking the plunge, moving away from Apple & going Android
- He's played quite a bit of Subway Surfers on his iPhone & he wants to carry over his progress onto the Android he's getting (a Galaxy S4 BTW), otherwise he's has to start from scratch.
I doubt it is even possible (I assume the save game format on iPhone is different to that on Android) - but in the unlikely event that it IS the same format....it would be nice to tell/show him how to do it
Hmm 1 week, 58 views & no answers..
I guess then no-one has an answer

Transferring Game data from iPhone to Android
Hello,
I searched extensively for a way to transfer Subway Surfers game progress from iPhone to Android. I never could find the "iPhone to Android Transfer" utility mentioned in the post above. However, I was able to transfer the game progress from an AT&T iPhone 5 running iOS v7.0.6 and both an ASUS Transformer TF101 running Android v4.0.3 and a Verizon Samsung Galaxy S4 running Android v4.3 (baseband I545VRUEMK2). Subway Surfers was v1.19.0.
To copy the game files off of the iPhone, you can use iTools 2013 from: www[dot]itools[dot]cn/itoolsyingwenbanxiazai
Once you launch the iTools utility and have your iPhone connected, go to: Applications > Subway Surf
You can try clicking the Backup button (Backup program and document), but this was unsuccessful for me. Click on Browse and look for the Documents folder. This is where the game progress is stored (that I could find). Playdata is the important file, but I also copied onlinesettings and socialsettings. I also copied the multiple playdata.x files.
The only way I could figure out how to restore the game progress on Android is to root the device. You may be able to figure out another way if the game is saved to SD card, etc.
My Transformer was already rooted, so it was merely a matter of going to: Settings > Apps > Subway Surf and clicking Force stop and then Clear data. This is an important step, since the files aren't recognized otherwise. Next, just copy the files (which can be done under Windows with device plugged into USB) from above to: / sdcard / Android / data / com.kiloo.subwaysurf / files
On the Galaxy S4, it took a little more effort since it needed to be rooted. There are numerous articles on how to root/unroot a S4. Once done, the only difference from above is that there was a shader directory under com.kiloo.subwaysurf / files. I'm not sure about the purpose of this folder, but I wound up deleting the entire com.kiloo.subwaysurf path and copying it back with just the files mentioned above. Again, this was after clicking Force stop and Clear data (very important) on the S4. The shader + cache folders were automatically re-created after playing. The files above did not appear to get modified after playing, so the game might just be importing them the first time it's launched.
Your results may vary and rooting may not be necessary. This is just what I figured out and may not work with future versions of Android/iOS/Subway Surfers. The game still worked and retained game progress after unrooting the S4, btw.
in fact, iPhone can not transfer data directly to Android. Someone says that we can transfer data from iPhone to Android or in turn via email, iCloud, even iTunes. but you must backup data from iPhone via iCloud or email on PC. then transfer them to Android via USB. I provide a way to transfer music from iPhone to Android, and U can follow to move other files.
1. Set up iCloud both on iPhone and also laptop. Set up the Windows edition if your PC is with Windows OPERATING-SYSTEM.
2. Start the Synchronize feature of the iCloud in the iPhone options.
3. Sign in the iCloud with the Apple ID on the laptop, and you can to control your iPhone data files at this point.
4. Pick the music in your iPhone and synchronize them in your Computer's iCloud, if you like to put them in selected folders, you’re able to down load the music to your local folder.
5. Transfer music which is on PC to Android Phone via USB.
However, the method above is a bit trouble, you can also try some software totransfer data between iPhone and Android such as Phone Transfer. that also work well..
It's not possible. Android and IPhone are different OS, how do you expect that files of IPhone would work in Android? You are saying that the data format is the same, maybe it looks from the outside, not from the inside.
There's surely a difference between them. Besides, as far as I know, IPhone has got a lot of transferring restrictions. Personally, I would not suggest anyone to get IPhone if he has already got an Android device.
iAny Manager is able to transfer games data from iPhone to computer, but I don't know how to import to Android, tell me if you can find out how to do.

How did it fail? Any notification shown? As i know if you connect with Facebook you can follow this way. (other games, you may have to contact staff to fully transfer all game data to new account)
Similar to the messages ,contact ,photos transfer program , but before you transferring them , you need to know size of the game
Android to iOS
You have to understand that there are no services able to convert iOS app to Android online or something like that. To a good quality final product, you need to find an entire team of mobile app developers, designers, and testers who are able to convert iOS app to Android properly because of their experience in this sphere.
It's not difficult to transfer whatsapp messages from iPhone to Android, just need to use useful transfer program, you can transfer photo, music, text messages, contacts, videos, history and other data.
how to transfer data between iPhone and Android phone,
Download a Mod and done.

It depends on the game developer. If the game had two versions, then most likely you can sync data from one device to another.

easily transfer data from Samsung Galaxy to iPhone X, works with all the contacts, photos, text messages, songs and more.

So I believe this is the right place to post this.
I'm looking for an app that can save/sync games across devices. I lost my one phone and I had purchased some credits to support the game and when I lost is I lost all of the credits and I am playing a long RPG but there are times when I wish I could play it on my tablet instead of on my phone, but i dont want to play through it twice at the same time.
Does anyone know if there is an app that will allow me to back up and sync my application information across devices using something like drop box?
Titanium Backup does exactly that.
how does one do that, I'm trying to get a copy of spectral souls from my transformer over to my nexus S 4g, so i can be slightly more mobile and play?
I'm sure there is a more elegant way, but what I did to transfer my Battleheart save game to the phone was copy the TB properties and tar files for Battleheart from my Tab to my phone, then rename them so the filenames matched the phone app data filenames and replaced the phone's ones with them. I did this because both devices are currently in use, obviously between new devices you can just use TB like normal to restore the apps+data. Wouldn't be something I'd like to do a lot, I'm sure there must be a more elegant solution (probably TB does it natively and I just didn't see it...).
Hello,
I currently own a LG E900 and just recently I noticed a little scratch on the display. I know this is gorilla glass and it worked really great for more than a year and I don't even know how the scratch got there, but I thought that it might be time to upgrade.
I know that most stuff is synced using Windows Live but there are still a couple of things where I am not sure:
1. What about contacts where I linked their Facebook, Twitter and Windows Live profiles? If they do not have the same name in Facebook and Windows Live, will their linking be preserved?
2. Is it possible to transfer stored data from apps and games? I mostly care about my saved progress from e.g. angry birds, can you transfer that without being banned or so from Xbox Live for cheating?
3. Zune creates full backups and I guess this would be the best you can get, but can you restore them onto another device (I am considering buying either another LG E900 or a HTC Titan 2, but this thread should not be about which phone to chose right now) or is this somehow tied to the IMIE?
All of your contacts are synced from their various accounts. None are currently stored on the phone. Your linked contacts will link if the names are the same. If names differ, you'll have to relink as necessary.
Game and application data cannot be transferred to the new phone unless said game/app offers a cloud backup option. XBoxLive games will remember scores, but I'm not sure about progress.
To my knowledge, a backup can only be restored to the phone it was made from. This means you can't even get the same model and restore from a different backup. Sucky, I know.
That is correct. Manually (using an app like Root Webserver or WPDM), you could back up your Angry Birds isolated storage folder and then restore it on the new phone (if you get another phone that you can achieve at least root-unlock with). I don't believe you're at risk of getting flagged for cheating unless you try to *edit* those game files.
That sound interesting.
Is root-unlock the same as interop-unlock?
No. Interop-unlock can allow apps to gain additional privileges, possibly including TCB privileges ("root" if it were a Unix-like OS; this is what's meant by "root unlock"). However, by default interop-unlock does not grant those permissions.
Root unlock is most commonly gained through either using interop-unlock on a supported device to then install WP7 Root Tools, or by using a full-unlocked custom ROM (full-unlock includes root-unlock).
Thanks, I guess I will be able to figure out the rest on my own since interop-unlock seems to be prettt easy on LG devices.
Just to be sure, if I copy the Isolated Storage from a game to my PC and back onto a different phone, that will still work?

Angry Birds does not seem to require phone or owner identity privileges, so I doubt it is.
Also, keep in mind that the Titan II has no unlock at all yet - you couldn't get your files back on it then.
Must try for Android Addicts
Managing your Android phone or tablet does not mean that you have to establish a physical connection – providing you have a copy of AirDroid installed. With this app in place on your Android device, all you then need is a web browser; it does not matter which web browser you use or whether you are running OS X, Linux or Windows. Launch the app and you will be provided with both a URL and an IP address that you can use to establish a remote connection along with a pass code for security.
Once this has been entered you’ll be presented with a virtual desktop for your device. This is not an emulator, so you will not be working with a representation of your phone or tablet, but you will be able to browse through its contents and even make use of various features. You can quickly see how much space you have left available both on internal storage and your memory card and you can see how this space is taken up by different types of file.
There is a great file browser that can be used to view the contents of your device, but also enables you download files to your computer or upload them to your phone or tablet. Drag and drop support is a great feature and you can also install and uninstall apps with ease, including setting up batch operations to help get things completed more quickly.
Other great features include a shared clipboard that can be used to copy and paste text between computer and Android. You can also view your call logs, control your ringtone settings and control your music from your computer. If your device is rooted, you have a handy screenshot tool on your hands, but there’s plenty to keep you busy even if you haven’t take this step.
Verdict:
A superb way of managing your Android device and transferring files in both directions.

I have AirDroid and ApMobile on a Galaxy Note GT-N7000. The N7000 is unlocked and has Android vers 4.0.4. AirDroid says it can 'remove' ApMobile but this is contrary to other links.
Is it safe to do this, please? Thanks for help.

Just wondering if there are many vulnerabilities though. Lots of app permissions that might not be necessary..
I used it since a year now, very useful app, writing sms with a keyboard ^^
So, after countless hours of searching and trying many ways to install some of my favorite games from my bionic to my tab, I had found 0 luck. (Completely stock tab and phone, Free games just not compatible) I stumbled on something interesting though:
The ES FIle explorer allows you to back up apps on your phones sd card! So, with that said, I did that... plug my phone into my PC, copied the backup file, drag and droped onto my tab, and boom, it worked! No longer do I have to play my games in a foreign language! I have only tried 2, but had success with the game working and I have to head off to work...
The one down side is, the backup is for a phone sized GUI, so I did run into some control problems, but Im sure this could be remedied i *think* by using another compatible tab device, backing it up on that tab, then repeating the process! (IE.., Moto Xoom, w/e 10.1" tab) My wife just so happens to have a xoom, so I shall try it out and report back in a day or two!
Just wanted to share!
The backup isn't for a phone sized gui, the app is. Each app has settings for all the resolutions it supports...
One of the main games I want to finish is Dragon Quest III. I got really far into the game, but then my phone got stolen. Luckily I had a TB backup of a lot of my apps and games. Fast forward over a year and I've got the itch to finish the game, as well as a few others that only saved data locally on the device. However, I have no way to restore it to my current phone (a bootloader-locked Verizon Galaxy S8+ on Pie, which is unrootable). Is there a way I can restore or resume the game(s) on my current phone? I've tried Helium and DataSync, with no luck.
Ended up trying BlueStacks, couldn't share files between host and guest OSes (no proxy for that between the two). BS Tweaker bypassed this limitation, but no matter what, USB debugging just couldn't be enabled, let alone a USB connection. Supposedly Andy has that capability, but despite everything I did, nothing showed up in the Shared folder in the file browsers. I ended up using the Google Drive feature in ES File Explorer to copy files between the two. But since Andy is almost exactly like an Android device (has the Settings and everything), developer mode was accessible, and USB debugging worked. After I installed all the needed apps and such, I was able to restore my TB backups, test them in-game, and back them up again using Helium, then restore on the phone. Took several hours, but in the end it was worth it.
