HI
Last week I unlocked my boot loader, installed CWM and rooted using SuperSU. I'm still on Stock 4.4
The company I work for has decided we have to return all phone to the office.. so I need to restore this as was.
Can I unroot using SuperSU ?
Flash stock recovery.img
Reset tamper flag and lock the boot loader ?
Is that it ? if is is where do I get the stock recovery and files needed for tamper flag and bootloader ?
Many Thanks
MAC
There is a sticky thread in general that covers this.

When i bought my NS, I had Stock 2.3.4 GB and a different baseband.
I immediately unlock the bootloader, rooted it and flash CWM. And I did a CWM Backup of the stock 2.3.4 Rooted.
I decided to use the warranty, and i'd like to RELOCK the bootloader.
I reverted back to the stock 2.3.4 Rooted.
I Think the procedure to return to factory model is the following:
1flash the previous baseband in CWM;
2go to fastboot mode, type ADB RELOCK BOOTLOADER and reboot.
My fear is that, with the rom rooted, It won't boot up!!!
Any alternatives?

Here's a real straight-forward guide for n00bs. if you've got an idea of what your doing, which it sounds like, then I'll try to explain it.
first, you need to flash an OTA stock ROM because this is what will overwrite CWM with stock recovery.
then you need to do a factory reset
then reboot into fastboot and connect to your pc
I don't want to type out every version here, but skip to step 16 of that guide and it will have the cmd prompts for each platform (Windows/Mac/Linux)
I'm sure you can do it from there.
hey I have updated to android 4.4.2(KOT49H), I wanted to go back to stock 4.4....will flashing the google images(krt16m) solve the problem and can I do them with the stock recovery as my device is only unlocked not rooted neither any custom recovery is installed?
You can flash the factory image if your bootloader is unlocked.
Just get the base factory image from https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images#hammerhead and flash it in fastboot mode. If you use the script included, it will wipe your device.

Help! I cannot flash a custom recovery onto my phone (Verizon/RAZR Maxx HD). I used to have SafeStrap installed and it worked fine. One day I took a OTA update and lost root. So I used RSD Lite to re-flash my stock partition so I could take advantage of Towelroot and Motopocolypse while they still worked and was successful in doing both. So my phone was unlocked and rooted again and I was so happy I just used it as is for a few months. Later on, on decided it was time to try a new ROM, at which point I attempted to flash CWM recovery and it failed. So then I tried flashing SafeStrap again, and now that also failed. Then, in the process of troubleshooting failure to flash a custom recovery I managed to unroot myself (thanks to someone's bad advice). ... And of course this happened after I already took the OTA update that patched the towelroot exploit. So now my phone is Unlocked but not rooted anymore. I still cannot flash CWM (which is what I'd like to do) and use a custom ROM. Any helpful advice or constructive feedback would be greatly appreciated... Thanks!
Currently on Android 4.4.2, System Version 183.46.15.xt926.Verizon.en.US
Are you sure you are unlocked? Boot into your fastboot screen and tell us what it says. If you are unlocked, it's easy to regain root. Flash a recovery (try TWRP since CWM seems to not work) and flash a SU zip.

Same Issue
Apparently they slipped in a fix for towelroot because I losr root. Still have an unlocked bootloader thanks to motopokalyse. I actually jacked my stock recovery and am working on fixing now. I'll let you know if I get it fixed and can flash a recovery.
I had unlocked boot loader earlier to flash Oxygen OS.Now relocked and reset tamper flag and reflashed stock recovery. My one plus is in cm 12-YNG1TAS17L now.But now the problem is that it is not installing ota updates. What to do?
You didn't need to relock and reset the tamper flag. Anyway, when you say it isn't installing updates do you mean the auto update feature isn't working? Or manually flashing with stock recovery isn't working?
Hey everyone, in an attempt to update my baseband, I ended up losing developer bootloader status, and I'm now on stock PD1. Is there any hope for me to be able to regain root/unlocked bootloader? I tried flashing PB1, and it would flash alright, but got stuck on the Verizon logo animation.
I'm willing to try just about anything to get cyanogenmod back!

I would suggest that you first need to wipe your cache and dalvik, data as well if you want best results; then flash back to stock PB1. Re-root PB1, re unlock the bootloader of PB1, and then follow the instructions here regarding upgrading to PD1 with an unlocked bootloader (it is found on the OP of the thread that tells you how to unlock your bootloader. You should end up with the rooted version of whatever rom you are after while still having an unlocked PD1 bootloader.
Perfect, thanks! I believe I tried that but it's possible I didn't do it right, so I'll try again.
