Rooted MK3 multi language working wi-fi and no MK3 bootloader - Galaxy Note II Android Development

Hi!
This is what i just did :good: (i come from 4.1.2 total stock rom)
1. Rooted my stock Note 2 (4.1.2) -> http://download.chainfire.eu/264/CF-Root/CF-Auto-Root/CF-Auto-Root-t03g-t03gxx-gtn7100.zip
2. download MK3 (all 4.3 firmware works) stock rom from sammobile and putt it on sdcard. -> http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/
3. downloaded ODINmobile. -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1347899
4. Browse for the MK3 rom from sdcard and flash.
5. Download philz recovery and and browse for the philz recovery from pcodin and flash it. -> http://d-h.st/users/philz_touch/?fld_id=16053#files
6. Download Dr ketan multitool v5 and put in on sdcard. -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=45609987&postcount=3
7. Go to philz recovery and flash the Dr ketan multitool v5 chosse only "root" from aroma installer.
8. Go to playstore and download and install SuperSu.
9. Open mobileodin and browse for the MK3 rom (from sdcard) untick all exept "recovery" and flash.
10. Download Triangle away 3.10 (from playstore) follow the info and after you have reset the flashcount dont start the phone, press volyme down (to enter download mode)
11. force the phone off by hold start button and manuly go directly to download mode (flashcount shuld say 0)
12. Go to your pc and download odin and MJ5 bootloader. -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=47379632&postcount=2789&nocache=1&z=1361703365109861
13. Flash the MJ5 bootloader.
14. Done..
Wi-fi working, no Knox 0x1, no flash count, working root, stock recovery and multi language.
A big thanks to all people how made it possible
Edit: This works with any n7100 JB 4.3 official firmware from sammobile

Just downgraded to stock 4.1.2 without any problem :good:
Flashing the 4.1.2 stock ROM (OTA / KIES works)
1. Download -> http://d-h.st/7me flashing (Dr ketan :good
2nd Start Note 2 in download mode and start ODIN
3rd Go to the AP open MD5 file from one and flash the
4th Download the 4.1.2 stock rom from sammobile
5th Open ODIN - AP and flash it
Now we have to Root Note 2
6. download - Open ODIN - search for MD5 root - AP - flashing ... http://download.chainfire.eu/264/CF-...xx-gtn7100.zip
7. Download the triangle away and run
8. Download CSC Changer and choose the correct CSC code for your Note 2 region.
9. Open SuperSu and select "delete SuperSu" unroot.
10th Now your Note 2 completely stock again and ready for OTA / kies updates
(i guess we all know how to do this but i say it anyway )

Thanks. I'm going to try using everroot in mobile odin instead of the philz + dr ketan's method, seems simpler (if it works)
EDIT: Yeah, that worked, and it saved me from using philz, drketan + reflash stock recovery.
In the end, however, i decided to use the wifi patch instead of flashing the new bootloader. It works fine, but the binary counter stays at 1 even after triangle away; the checksum probably doesn't match with the old bootloader in place.
Regards

Can you elaborate the exact methodand steps you used here and what ROM as I am interested in your method, thanks

Im sorry mate i do not understand what you are asking.
If you follow the metod in 1 post you will be "KNOX free, rooted and have a downgradable KNOX bootloader". (works with any note 2 JB 4.3 official rom from sammobile) tested and 100% working if you do it the right way.
If there is something that is unclear fell free to ask

What is meant by "11. force the phone off by hold start button and manuly go directly to download mode (flashcount shuld say 0)"?
do you mean the sequence of steps below?
a. Hold down the power button to force the phone shutdown
b. Hold down volume down + home + power button to go into download mode?
TQ.

Thanks, I think all went well,
1) I'm still rooted,
2)I had to do the wifi fix before I could download SuperSu ,
3)My flash counter is 1 not zero though
4)Couldn't use the latest Dr Ketan V6 I had to use V5 ( It does say V5 in the txt above anyway) as it wouldn't run
5)How Do I know if Knox is gone?
Thanks for all your help

1. :good:
2. The best thing where if you downloded it before, or just download it without wi-fi connection, but its no big deal
3. It can be fixed (se bellow)
4. V5 works just fine to root your device
5. When you root with dr ketans aroma tool it root your device and clean knox leftovers.
If i understand you, are on stock recovery now? If so...
You need to run triangle away and directly after you have reset choose "go to downloadmode" and from there "Hold down volume down + home + power button to go into download" again. (It should say officiell officiell and counter status 0)
Now you flash the MJ5 bootloader = :good:

Great, count is now zero!
If I go to Status in Phone info says "Custom" is that Ok? I assume it doesn't matter to me as I'm out of warranty anyway, but others may not be

What does the Note 3 Launcher give us? does it add eny extra functionality of the Note 3 apps?
Thanks

Sure
Really no need to do a factory reset "others.xml" can be placed in system/csc then you do not need to do a facory reset.
Here is the list:
Note 3 launcher -> secluncher4.apk and secluncher4.odex (really no big extra functions but looks better :laugh
Recording Calls -> secphone.apk and secphone.odex
Higher and better sound -> default_gain.conf
build.prop tweaks -> build.prop (i forgot to ad this on the list) copy and replace old build.prop in system/
Ad block -> host
Remove annoying sound -> LowBattery.ogg PowerOn.ogg TW_Volume_controll.ogg
On / off sound with the camera -> others.xml

Sure. What I did was:
1. Rooted my stock Note 2 (4.1.2)
2. Downloaded MJ9 (latest for Spain when I checked)
3. Downloaded mobile ODIN
4. Flashed MJ9 with mobile ODIN, which does NOT flash the MJ9 bootloader (which includes Knox) <- IMPORTANT: I enabled the EverRoot option in mobile ODIN so that my phone would remain rooted after flashing; this saves me from steps 5-9 in the original instructions.
At this point, you will be running Android 4.3, rooted, untouched recovery, and with the original Knox-free bootloader, but the WiFi will not turn on, so you can either
5a: Flash the WiFi patch with ODIN
OR
5b: Flash the MJ5 bootloader with PC ODIN [Mobile ODIN will not flash the boot loader, remember?]
If you do option 5a you will keep the old bootloader, which means you will never see the "Knox status" line in download mode, but your flash counter will remain at "1" and status will be custom.
If you do option 5b, you will get the knox status line in download mode, but your flash counter can be reset with triangle away. Keep in mind that if you have previously done something that triggers knox state to 0x1, redoing all these steps and going for step 5a will NOT reset the knox flag, for the time being there is no way to reset it.

Rooting procedure for SAMSUNG Galaxy Pocket Plus ( GT-S5301 )
WARNING!!! This solution provided as is (with no warranty of any kind). Be careful because the described operations rather dangerous and possibly can brick your device. Author is not responsible for your device damage.
IMPORTANT: Usage of this method will affect the state of the "Custom BIN down" counter in your device. This means that you may have problems with official warranty.
OTHER NOTICES: Solution based on ICS 4.0.4 Russian Stock firmware. It will not affect the data on your device (contacts, files etc.). No wipe\hard reset needed.
Step 1. Getting software
1. Download Odin 3.0.7 here
2. Download modified stock recovery here
3. Download update package for rooting here (downloaded from here Thanks to Phil3759)
4. Install Samsung drivers\kies from this page
P.S. Sorry for ugly file storage solution - google drive. If it will open the zip archive just click "File" menu and click "Download" (or use Ctrl+S combo).
Step 2. Flash the updates
1. Switch off the device. Hold "volume down"+"home" buttons and press power button. When device switch on release the power button but continue to hold volume down and home until Download mode warning appear. Plug in the USB cable and press volume up button to continue. The device will load in ODIN download mode.
2. Run ODIN 3.0.7. Don't change any setting (checkboxes ) - leave them in default state. Your device should appear in "ID:COM" part of the screen as serial device (i.e. "COM38") - if not check if your USB port is functional and Samsung drivers installed correctly.
3. Click on PDA button and chose modified recovery file saved during step 1.2. Don't rename or decompress the file - otherwise it will not work.
Wait until ODIN decompress the package and check the checksums. After it just press START button and wait until the process is over.
4. Copy update package for rooting on SD card and put the card in device's slot.
5. Switch off your device again. Hold "volume up"+"home" buttons and press power button to switch on. Don't release volume up and home until the recovery loaded. Using volume up and volume down buttons navigate to menu item "apply update from external card" and press power button to commit operation. Then navigate to Root_Superuser_3.1.3......zip file and press power button again.
6. Done. Your device should be rooted now. You can check it with various free programs like Root Checker available at Google Play.
You can restore the stock recovery using the same flashing procedure as described above. The stock recovery image is available here
====================
Additional notices:
- I will upload the full stock firmware repacked for ODIN in a couple of days. You can use it to restore your device to default state (except the Custom BIN down counter).
- If the counter really bothering you - just wait a little - I'll upload pre-rooted system partition package which does not affect the counter.
- Do not try just blindly install the CWM or TWRP recovery packages made for another devices. It will not work and can cause some problems because at least one difference is crucial - recovery.fstab file in most of cases will contain wrong information about partitions so you can brick your device. Now I'm working on porting CWM recovery for s5301 and I hope it will not take much time.
Take care

2013-05-27 UPDATE: CWM recovery (GUI issues) ***THIS ONE IS OBSOLETE - USE NEXT SECTION BELOW "UPDATE: Working CWM recovery (GUI problems fixed)"***
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
CWM Recovery for S5301 (coriplus) is now available. Unfortunately there is still an issue with screen resolution but I suppose I'll fix it very soon. Despite an uncomfortable picture those people who needs backup\restore feature urgently can use it right now. Everything seems to be functional but if you discover some issues - please let me know.
1. Fakeflash zip image is here. Use it from previousely flashed Hacked Stock recovery: pure stock recovery will not load it.
To run it - put the update.zip to sdcard, boot to recovery, navigate to "apply update from external card" and choose the update.zip. Done! Now you are in CWM recovery and you can backup\restore your system. After rebooting the recovery you will see the Hacked Stock recovery again (this is what fakeflash means - CWM loads in memory but after reboot you have your old recovery again. So keep the update.zip on SD card to use it again).
2. ODIN image is here. This one for those who really hates the stock recovery and ready to run CWM permanently even with ugly screen resolution. Flsh with ODIN as described above.
When I fix the screen resolution I'll inform you about it here.
Enjoy.

2013-06-13 UPDATE: The way how to get device rooted and CWM recovery flashed without affecting the counter
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There is a way to get root and CWM recovery without affecting the down bin counter:
Step 1: Flash the pre-rooted system partition via ODIN (it will not affect the counter and will not erase your personal data). Now you have rooted device but it is still has useless stock recovery.
Step 2: Copy recovery.img on SD card and insert it in your device.
Step 3: Turn the device on, wait untill OS loaded. Go to Settings -> Developer options and switch on the Usb Debugging.
Step 4: Connect USB cable, choose "Camera PTP" in USB PC Connection menu on your device - this menu appeares in notification area (that's important to get your sdcard mounted).
Step 5: Go to console on your PC and execute the following commands:
$ adb shell
[email protected]:/ $ su
[email protected]:/ # dd if=/mnt/extSdCard/recovery.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p6
Voila! You have your device rooted, you have CWM recovery flashed and the down bin counter wasn't affected.

2013-06-13 UPDATE: Russian Stock Firmware S5301XXAMC1 repacked for ODIN
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As promised please find attached full stock firmware adapted for flashing with ODIN. It's non-rooted, with stock recovery. It will not erase your data so do not forget to perform factory reset if you need it.

Hi, I didn't have an external sd card at this moment so what I did was flash CWM and then sideload the root package, pretty simple, so you can add this method as an alternative, it worked pretty good.

1) All fakeflash versions does not affect the counter (only the ODIN flashed images do it).
2) All fakeflashes are temporary (just loading in memory and active until reboot).
3) Unfortunately the stock recovery doesn't aloow to load CWM fakeflash or rooting package, so you need to flash CWM or at least hacked stock recovery via ODIN (an this operation will definitely affect the counter).
Take care

Obviously the sideload should work ok as it is one of CWM features After you flashed CWM you can use all its' tools - sdcard is just simple common scenario. Anyways thanks for feedback - I'll add notice regarding adb sideload in the main post )

Almost forget - I've uploaded the prerooted system.img as I promised (check 2013-06-08 UPDATE section of the main post in this thread).
Use ODIN to flash this image (PDA section).
It will not affect the counter. All your applications and personal data will survive because they are on another partition, but anyway It's strictly recommended to make a backup copy before flasing. As a result you'll get the rooted device without replacing stock recovery and without affecting the "down bin counter".

Actually the first post in this thread contains step-by-step description of rooting process. And it should work for any s5301 device. But judging by the signature of your post, you have s5300 device which is copletely different. So I suppose you have to search this forum for solution developed exactly for your device...

I don't know if it's me, but is anybody else having problems flashing the XXUEMJ5 modem.
It's just that I followed the instructions the first time and the modem didn't get replaced with said modem.
I tried again and again and again and it didn't work.
I was advised in the forums for Echoe ROM to upgrade the modem so I can get the mobile data part of the phone fully operational for the latest version of the ROM and I wanted to get it done before upgrading to said ROM.
Nice guide.
Just one thing, the modem can be flashed on ODIN CP or Phone (older versions of ODIN) and you could also mention Mobile Odin as an option for modem flash.

Thanks for the list!
Actually there's more that you can de-bloat ...
I removed the following as well:
ChocoEUKor.apk (font)
RoseEUKor.apk (font)
GoogleFeedback.apk (we don't want to send more stuff to Google
DirectConnect.apk (ONLY remove if you do not want to use direct wifi sharing)
DirectShareManager.apk (ONLY remove if you do not want to use direct wifi sharing)
The following ones are used if you want to implement BYOD policies:
EdmSimPinService.apk
EdmVpnServices.apk
EnterprisePermissions.apk
If you are not using your phone as a USB disk drive when connected to your PC you can remove following apk as well (I personally always push files to my phone over adb).
MtpApplication.apk
I also removed BluetoothTest.apk, NfcTest.apk, HwModuleTest.apk without noticing any impact so far. I guess you can type some phone codes (not sure which ones though) to access these test applications.
If you dont use your phone as remote control, you can remove:
PCWClientS.apk
And I think the next one is also KNOX related somehow as it implements com.sec.knox.eventsmanager. I removed it.
ContainerEventsRelayManager.apk
After removing, clear you dalvik-cache and reboot.

[Guide] How to modify Stock ROM

Hello!
Today I show you How to modify your stock ROM.
In this guide I won't use PC or other software because I want to make this guide easy for all.
Important notes:
For this guide I'll use Samsung Galaxy J3 2016, but similar principles works on other devices.
What you need:
TWRP Recovery for your device.
Root Explorer
Rooted Android Device
And APKs(See later what I think)
Step 1:Activating OEM unlock
Don't skip this step because it's the most important.
Go to Settings and tap About Phone.
Tap 7 times on Build Number and activate Developer Settings.
Enter in Developer Settings and search for OEM UNLOCK, ignore warning and activate them.
If you don't have OEM unclock don't worry you can skip this step.
Step 2: Flashing TWRP Recovery via Odin(Samsung Phones only)
If you don't own Samsung device(or device which can be rooted via KingoRoot) you can skip this step because this step is important for rooting phone.
YOUR WARRANTY IS NOW VOID
Download TWRP recovery for your device and flashable .zip file of SuperSu v2.XX(determine which version is best for your phone).
Run Odin, when Odin starts go to Options tab and de-check Factory Reset Time and Auto Reboot,
then return to main section. And click on AP button and locate your twrp recovery .tar file and than press open. Now turn of your phone and enter in Download Mode hold Power Button + Volume Down Button + Home Button and connect to PC and click on start. When green message PASS apear in Odin you successfully flash recovery.
To restart phone hold power and volume buttons for some seconds or simply remove and return battery
Step 3: Rooting phone
Enter in Recovery Mode(for Samsung device hold power+volume up+home). Swipe slider to allow modification on system partition. Tap on install and find zip file from SuperSU flashable zip and swipe slider to install zip. Wait to installation complete and reboot phone (your phone can reboot some times to complete.
Installing Root Explorer and exploring system/app and system/app-priv
Install Root Explorer and grant Root access.
Now we explore system partition, but before we start in TWRP Recovery make a backup of System partition.
Enter in system/app directory and search for bloatware and other unuseful apps, but be careful what you delete!
Now download apks from apk mirror(clean apks) and place in system/app and when you finished with placing apk files reset phone to Factory Settings.
Tips:
If you have older Android version( <5.0 Lollipop)
download and install XPosed Framework and MonsterUI from Google Play to have Lollipop Notification Bar.
If you have Samsung device with Android Lollipop 5.1.1 or newer go to system/priv-app(or app-priv) and find SecSetupWizard folder delete them and Factory Reset your phone and Voila Setup Wizard is now AOSP.
For Samsung TouchWiz Lollipop ROMs or newer you can download Material Status bar to get AOSP like experience.
If you running Samsung TW Lollipop ROM and want to have AOSP Phone and Contacts app go to system/app-priv(or priv-app) search for SecContacts_L folder and delete them, insert Google Dialer apk(downloaded from apk mirror looks for MINAPI(I USE MINAPI21) and Google Contacts apk and Factory Reset Phone. Now you free from Samsung Phone and Contacts app.
Customizing Stock ROM is so funny and you can make a new ROM(not new but different ).
If I help you Hit thanks button :victory:
And if you have suggestion write in post(s).

Japanese S7 Edge SCV33/SC-02H Magisk root and other tweaks!

This thread is for Japanese s7 edge scv33 that’s being booted up with SC-02H firmware after carrier unlocking.
This guide covers/ will help you
• Install Latest available Twrp recovery (Caution: will Trip Knox!)
• Magisk Root
• Remove Japanese carrier bloatwares.
• Make the default device language to English.
• Install latest available updates via default or, will add additional useful Samsung apps (will update the device stock apps like SMS, Touch wiz launcher, AOD, Contacts, etc to latest available.
• Various tweaks like sms delivery options turned on by default, always on display turned on by default etc-etc.
Overall, this guide is to help your Japanese S7 Edge scv33/SC-02H to look more like a standard international model.
So let’s begin.
Step 1:
All required files can be downloaded from here
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1XElzbRcvlqf1CXjGK8Oiu6rmlnAvcphY
Caution. Backup all of your personal data. This process will need you to factory reset or will erase all of your data including your personal photographs, apps, videos etc.
You will also require to have a fresh piece of sd card (16 gb or more recommended) to store the twrp nandroid backup if anything goes wrong.
So, First, you will need to remove the modifications that were made to your device stock boot image. If you have flashed the modified kernel or have rooted using super-su, then, you will need to undo all the changes. You can flash the stock boot image file only but I would recommend you to flash the whole latest firmware that you can find easily over UPDATO Firmware website to start better all over again.
Here is the link to the latest SC-02H android 7.0 firmware:
http://updato.com/firmware-archive-select-model?record=AD3D69507E2D11E7963AFA163EE8F90B
Download and extract it. You will find 5 files. You can ignore the HOME……. file. Flash the 4 firmware file using latest Odin.
After flashing, let it boot up. Finish the setup wizard and turn off the device.
Step 2:
Flash the TWRP that you downloaded from here. Download Link is same as above.
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1XElzbRcvlqf1CXjGK8Oiu6rmlnAvcphY
Twrp Bug: Device will reboot to twrp recovery if you choose to power down the phone from recovery option. You will have to choose “Reboot System” from twrp menu to solve this.
After installing, boot into twrp recovery. Go to Wipe and at the bottom right, you will have option to format data. Perform a Format data process. Then, make a TWRP backup to your sd card.
I repeat. Make a backup. This will help u a lot if anything goes wrong
Step 3:
Time to install magisk.
Extract root.zip file and there you’ll see magisk.zip
Flash this magisk installer file from twrp and reboot the device.
Install the latest magisk manager app apk.
Now your device is rooted with the latest magisk available.
Step 4:
Time to remove the bloatwares.
You will need ES file manager and System app remover from playstore.
Grant super-user access to both apps. Navigate to device/system/preloadFactoryResetOnly using es file manager and delete all the contents inside that folder.
Download the apps.zip file from here
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1XElzbRcvlqf1CXjGK8Oiu6rmlnAvcphY
Extract it to your pc. Copy all the extracted apps including their folder to your device and paste it inside the same path i.e, device/system/preloadFactoryResetOnly folder.
Important: You will need to change the copied each app file permission to RW-R-R.
You do-not need to change the folder’s permission. But you will need to change the each apk’s permission one by one. Long press on the apk and then go to properties. Tick mark on (read-write, read, read).
But there will still remain some Japanese DoCoMo bloatwares. You will not be able to remove it by simply using system app remover.
So, use the system app remover app to track down the bloatware’s location by long pressing and delete it by using es file manager. Remember, only delete the bloatwares that are found in device/system/priv-app and device/system/app folders.
Caution:
You do-not need to super trim down your system in hopes for getting more internal space or whatsoever by deleting the bloatwares that you don’t know. Just delete the DoCoMo apps that you can see in the app drawers.
So be aware.
Factory reset after the above step.
Step 5:
Now comes the last part:
CSC Tweaks:
Download the 3 modified csc files from above link. Copy and replace them to path device/system/csc
Change the copied file permission to (rw-r-r).
To change the default device language and set the sms delivery option on by default, copy the Customer.xml file to your pc and edit it by using Notepad++.
Find the line as shown as in the picture below and modify as in it. Save it and replace it back to where it was from which will be device/system/csc and change its file permission again to rw-r-r.
Now turn off your device and boot into TWRP recovery. Perform a factory reset and reboot.
You will have latest apps with all the custom changes including your default language changed to English.
No need to install magisk manager apk as it is already there in the apps.zip folder.
Done!
Credit goes to all the rightful owners.
Special thanks to Mr. Buddha Tuladhar again for the phone.

Is it necessary to flash 2017.03.07_SC02HOMU1BQC4 and 2017.04.07_1BQC4_Gobal_ManhIT.zip ? Or can i just simply flash the latest firmware 2017.12.12_SC02HOMU1BQL3 and root my phone?
Thank you, great job on compiling all this! It took quite a bit of study, but I understand now. Thanks again.
This root works.. but it kills NFC and Beam, Is that a known issue?
I tried this out about 15-20 different times this weekend. I was trying to get obtain root without losing NFC or Beam. (I need NFC on a daily basis).
Galaxy S7 Edge SC-02H (Docomo)
I have no problem installing TWRP. I can get root by either SuperSU or Magisk. Both kill NFC though.
I have tried so many different procedures.
1) Flash stock room (see below *) using Odin 3.12.3 and 3.12.5 (.5 works better)
As soon as installation was complete, I tested out NFC to make sure it works. It does. Then configured Developer options.
2) Then install TWRP (3.1.1 and 3.2.1) via Odin 3.12.5
3) Format then wiped (I also tried wipe without formatting)
4) Installed Magisk via TWRP. (I tried SuperSU as well)
5) Rebooted to system. I also tried Wiped cache, then reboot to system.
6) Once booted up, the first thing I did was check and see if NFC or Beem work. No.
Next I installed Magisk Manager app. I tried the one posted here. Also tried updating to the latest. And also tried installing the latest version of Magisk first.
I tested out root by using ES explorer and opening up the root directory. It worked.
I checked to see if NFC or Beam worked afterwards.. no.
7) Deleted bloatware. Followed this post's Step 5 exactly as is. Root stilled worked. NFC still didn't work.
So as much as I tried.. is it a known that NFC will not work if rooted?
* Firmwares tried:
SC02HOMU1BRG1
SC02HOMU1BRE1
SC02HOMU1BQL3
SC02HOMU1CRH5 (8.0)
SC02HOMU1BQC5 (Travis82's Nougat firmware)

Hi, what Twrp Work in Android 8.0 you can Shared whith me?
3.1.1, 3.2.1 and 3.2.3
They all worked. I had originally started working with 3.1.1 and 3.2.1. However, I tried the latest 3.2.3 because I couldn't get NFC to work. I did it just to give it a try.
But all three versions that I listed had no problem installing.
Are you having trouble installing TWRP?
Yes, recovery is not remplace
Will you have a link and instructions for Android 8?
How to install TWRP on Galaxy S7 Edge (SC-02H)
TWRP Installation:
1) Download and installed Odin 3.12.5 (or the latest)
2) Turn off phone. Pressed and hold Volume Down+Home+Power at the same time to get to Download Mode. Once you see the Download Mode page, let go of the buttons. Press Volume Up to accept. (To cancel, press Volume Down )
3) Open Odin and click on AP. Load the TWRP file from your computer.
4) On the second tab of Odin, uncheck "Auto-reboot" (you need to have auto reboot disabled in order to successfully install TWRP). Press 'Start'.
5) Once the Odin status changes to a green "Pass", the installation is complete.
At this point, your phone will still be in Download Mode screen. For this step only, you will need to do two steps back to back. First, press and hold Vol.Down+Home+Power in order to get the phone out of the Download Mode screen.
As soon as the screen changes, press Volume UP+Home+Power.
You will see TWRP load.
That's it. You have successfully loaded TWRP.
From here on out, you will need to press Vol. Up+Home+Power in order to boot into TWRP. If you reflash your phone back to stock firmware using Odin, you will lose TWRP and will need to repeat these steps in order to install TWRP again.

This thread is for Japanese s7 edge scv33 that’s being booted up with SC-02H firmware after carrier unlocking.
I need help in order to compile all of these tweaks into an Odin flashable file so that users can simply flash it and make the changes.I would also like to add App-lock feature and international Samsung keyboard with secondary symbol in but can’t seem to make it work. So, if you are interested or have tried, please let me know.....

I am also struggling about this. I think the problem only concerns TWRP or Root. However I think the problem is TWRP, because when I flash stock rom, nfc ok. Next, i flash TWRP (not root yet), nfc has been disabled now. So i think TWRP causes this problem. However, if i reflash stock recovery, everything remains unchanged, NFC is still turned off. so it is very contradictory.
Now I think of a test, after installing all (root), backing up all android. Then flash again with stock rom, check NFC. Finally, restore the backup. The goal is to completely remove the TWRP from the process but still root the device. I hope it will work. Will try if i have the time

J327T-T1 U1-U2-U3(Bit.1.2.3) (Bootloader Locked on U3) Root&PatchCert Stock FIrmware
Hi,
After 5 days Searching Google And Digging I've Found A Way TO Gain Root Access
on j327T on U3(Bit3)
**PLEASE DON'T DO IT IF YOU ARE NOT A GOOD READER AND JUST PUSH BUTTON & IM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO YOUR DEVICE**
Thanks to @ashyx
i've Found This Thread But it's not for U3 and U2 (https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-j3-2017/how-to/root-sampwned32-samsung-j3-prime-sm-t3761497)
------------------------------------------------------
EXPLANATION:
1-I HAVE FLASHED A MIXED FIRMWARE SOME PARTS COMBINATION AND SOME PARTS STOCK
2-AN EXPLOIT FOR ROOT JUST ENABLING USB DEBUGGING AND RUN IT DEVICE ROOTED
****3-BUT THE FIRMWARE THAT I HAVE FLASHED NOT FOR DAILY USING IT'S JUST FOR ROOTING.
****AS YOU KNOW WHEN YOU ROOT YOUR PHONE AND FLASH IT AGAIN ROOT ACCESS WILL REVOKED AT 4 STEP YOU SHOULD MAKE YOUR ROOT AS FILE SYSTEM
4-AFTER ROOT WE NEED TO ACCEPT ROOT ACCESS TO SYSTEM(BECAUSE WE NEED TO FLASH USEFUL STOCK ROM WITH ROOT AT ONCE)
------------------------------------------
PREREQUISITES:
-J327T-J327T1 REPAIR IMEI FIRMWARE (LINK)
-FlashFireAPP(Link)
-SuperSU_Systemmode(Link)
-Stock Firmware That i used TMB-J327TUVU3ARK4 (LINK)
--------------------------------------------
Steps:
Step1:
Extract J327t-t1 repair imei
YOU Have 2 Directory In it
-J327T PATCH WITH CHIMERA TOOL
-Roott
1>FLASH ROM SAME BIT
IF BIT 1 OR 2 THAN FLASH J327T-T1_Rev1_Rev2_ROOT_File.TAR
OR IF BIT 3 FLASH J327T-T1_Rev3_ROOT_File.TAR
2.WAIT FOR BOOTUP PHONE......THIS CAN TAKE 15MINT
DONT WORRY....
3.ENABLE USB DEBUG
4.IN Roott DIrectory we have and Archive name Root-Script Extract it.
5.RUN ROOT.BAT (PHONE WILL AUTO REBOOT NOW)
6.PHONE ROOT DONE........
------------------------------------------
*****Now we Are Rooted but ROM is Not Stabe We should Install Stable ROM with Root***
STEP2:
-Install Flashfire
-Extract 4 file Stock Firmware that i linked up and copy it to main directory of your internal storage
-copy supersu-systemmode.zip that i linked to internal storage and dont extract it.
-Go to phone setting Change Date & Time to Year 2013(Because Flashfire Closed up if date is over 2013)
As Here I'm Just Copy Text From ()Post(with a little Changes), Thank you For Explanation How to Work By Flash Fire.
Instruction:
1.Run Flashfire and agree when it asks for root permission.
In the main screen tap the + button then select Flash firmware Package and locate the stock firmware package you downloaded.(*****Our Firmware IS 4 File You Should Do it 4 Time First BL then AP and .......)Then GO to next step
Select Bl file
Again repeat And Select AP(here You Should Uncheck Boot.img)
Again CP
Again CSC
IMPORTANT: Uncheck the BOOT partition. Leave the rest enabled. Tap the tick top right when done. in the next screen tap EverRoot and uncheck Inject SuperSU and Preserve recovery. Tap the tick top right when done.
2.In the main screen again tap the + and then select Flash zip or OTA and locate the SR5-SuperSU-v2.82-SYSTEMMODE.zip
Check Mount /system read/write and leave everything else unchecked and then tap the tick when done.
Check you have the following selected on the main screen:
Flash Firmware package - The stock firmware with BOOT disabled.
Example:
BL_J327TUVU3ARK4_CL14795764_QB20828945_REV00_user_low_ship.tar
{X} Param
{X} .......
---------------------
AP_J327TUVU3ARK4_CL14795764_QB20828945_REV00_user_low_ship_meta.tar
[X] System
[X] Recovery
[X} .........
------------------
and Other Files
----------
Flash zip or OTA - System mode Supersu
EverRoot - disabled
Reboot - Normal
Ensure that System mode supersu is last on the list after the firmware or it won't root the new firmware.
Now tap FLASH and let Flashfire do it's thing.
--------------------------------------------------
If You Want Repair Imei By ChimerTool and Have Patch Cert Problem you Can Use Boot Files in First firmware That i linked

It Works!
I don't know why this post has only one thanx or replay. but it works. THANK YOU MAN!
My Problem is even after I flashed back to stock with flashfire, it still goes into "Kernel Panic" mode. And also, it brings a warning, saying your device is flashed with unautorised software, reboot. Do you have any fix?
Thank You Again!
