Sorry, There is NO option to disable I think!!!
But Why you want to remove OIS, this feature is Best for Camera, everyone needs this feature! It will simply boost your camera experience no matter how you capture them.

I use as the video recorder in the car. Bad quality because of vibration of the engine and hummocks on the road...

anyone know how i can do this with jf1.42 rc33 rooted g1
No video recording yet (except through third party application - namely "Video Recorder" - imagine the creativity), and since the camera lacks a zoom, you will never be able to zoom it. Just crop your pictures.
you should be able to digitally zoom your camera just not optical

digital zoom = cropping
no real need to implement a zoom feature that pixel-ates the photo even more than it already is
can u tell me why video recorder force closes when i hit record

because it is a not so good program. when i tried it my camera shutter got all screwy. had to reset the phone
easy answer: wait for cupcake or a POST RC33/9(UK) cooked build
i think this cupcake thing is becoming a hoax

I agree. I don't know why so many ppl are wanting camera zoom, cause it will never be optical zoom. Anyone that know anything about cameras knows the only way to go is optical zoom. And like you said, if you want digital zoom, just crop your photo.

Optical zoom is better, but a good software zoom which tries to interlace the picture would work too?

You're better off "zooming" using a real photo editor, just crop and enlarge and the quality will be much better than what the phone could ever manage. The only thing digital zoom would possibly be good for is for those who don't want the hassle of cropping/enlarging the pics themselves using an external program on the PC.
at least for video recording digital zoom should work. coz u dont use the full resolution of the chip anyways and the frame is always rendered down to a lower resolution.

What is the best app for manual controls ( iso, shutterspeed, color temp, raw, etc.)?

So I'm assuming "camera geeks" will be viewing this thread so I thought I'd ask a question. I loved the Moto camera app on my Moto X and I really miss some of it's features in the stock PIxel camera app. If you switch from the stock app what happens to picture quality? Is the picture quality of the Pixel camera dependent on the app or just the hardware? I get great pictures on my Pixel so I don't want to give that up but I'm really not crazy about the UI of the app.
adobe lightroom for android has a powerfull pro feature and HDR RAW in camera
Open camera app

As far as I know, you'll lose HDR+ because that is done by the application. I'm not sure if the EIS is built into the camera application or not, but I'm inclined to think that it is. The resolution and clarity of the pictures will be the same regardless of camera app, but you will lose some of the dynamic range.
I'm considering moving from my S7 Edge to the XZ, but there's one feature I really like: in the Camera app, you can set an option for voice control. Then if you say "Picture" or "Smile" or "Cheese" etc, it takes a photo. The X Performance can't do this. Can the XZ? Or is there another camera app that does this and also has the native camera capabilities?

It doesn't have voice control but it has smile or hand shutter...
By comparing the Honor Note 10 to other terminals, I noticed that the optical stabilization is much lower.
There is a way to increase stabilization?
(in photographs I can not even activate it, maybe it is automatically activated only with AI).
Hi,
It's not only lower... It's also incredibly slow !
I always get a message like : "Sharpening image. Please don't move camera"...

Hi,
unfortunately I confirm, even this message often comes to me.
Some photographs, especially taken in the interior, have the shake.
Too bad for stabilization, because otherwise the camera is good.
Is there an APP that has better management of digital stabilization?
I'm looking for video stabilisation and can't find it?
