Kinda new at gthis so please forgive me if i dont give all the information. Lg thrill 4g ( optimus 3d) phone with stock froyo firmware, CWM installed.
But after that, usb port stopped working. It looks damaged. I'm wondering if
A: Can i take a usb port from another device ( a samsung phone for example, the battery of which is now powering my LG) and install it without many problems if anyone has experience in this area..
B: Is it possible to "update" the phone without a usb, through rom manager or system updater and such. Phone is rooted currently.
As i stated, currently on froyo, want to be on ics or better.
I know i need a new phone, but this one is just so cool. Not my primary phone of course.

Anyone with a Rogers O3D flash a Rom from the development section? I wanted to know if the Roms for the O3D (P920) will work on the Rogers version (P925g).
I have one and am using Kings1.55 rom. It works perfect with no issues at all. I did have to manually enter the APN settings to get mobile data to work.
The phone will report it is a P920 though.

I have one and I'm currently running Thiaz's rom. Also, I have previously flashed the unbranded V10E for the LGP920 and they both worked!

I see! I did restart it but didn't work for me. The sim tool kit is in my applications but there is no icon in menu :<

download "bluekernel" from this this same site and enter into boot loader (vol down + pwr) and install bluekenel over your current rom and restart ya phone,
Trying to flash new baseband on p500 and PC won't install USB drivers. Keeps stalling at saving download. Shows up in dev manager with !.

Try after Delete / un-install any previous versions of the LG Drivers before installing the latest drivers.
Also, PC>USB Modem > Disable...
According to me u should leave baseband fix and use gtr rom its far better than blur and if u have a baseband problem in gtr just open up the terminal emulator and give the command 'su' then press enter and then 'fixbb' or maybe this command may work on blur too......
OK so anyone know how to install cm9 ICS 4.0 on LG P505 V20F .35. Ive tried everything. Either have network and data with color banding or OK color with no network or data.:banghead:

Go to the LG website and download the usb driver's
maybe you're on the new baseband already.. is'nt it try to flash rom again, then flash new baseband
If you're really having problems, just flash the stock lg gingerbread rom, it will update your baseband.

AM at wits end trying to upgrade from V10l, have pretty much tried all firmware upto v21e but aways wind up with no APN and 'reorganising internal process...' and cant add them back in....
Have seen the future with custom ROMs and want a better Android experience?

Tried LG tools, followed all run thrughs on here but they never even start to update for me....SMartFlash Tool seems to update phone but then back to no APNs

I came across this threads (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2378353) i saw an update to my rom optimus nexus me v3 to v4. but i cannot flash it to my LG Optimus Hub E510. it always failed.. i don't know why?.. i gone a lot of flashing rom to my device but this one did not.. is there any other reason why?.. i follow the on flashing that custom rom but it fails..
anyone can help me solve the problem?...

The most likely reason the ROM fails to install is the ROM in the thread you linked to is meant to be flashed on a Xperia X10 Mini Pro not your LG Optimus Hub E510. The updater-script in the ROM's zip file you where trying to flash recognized you where flashing the ROM to the wrong device and aborted the installation as you mentioned to avoid bricking your device. Remember never flash a ROM that isn't meant for your device.

I unfortunately couldn't find the Optimus Nexusme v4 ROM that was compatible for your device sadly. As a side note from one Sam to another great username .
