Hey folks,
Just got the wife a Moto G Global, and I'm not seeing any data connection on US AT&T. The signal bars are a solid grey, I've matched the APN settings between her Galaxy Nexus and the Moto G, still nothing. Make/receive calls, SMS no problem, just the data...
[EDIT] Turns out they dropped the data plan when changing out the SIMs - sheesh! Works fine now they re-attached it, full-on 3G.

Are there any hidden settings in the Moto X to enable it to lock onto roaming only?
I have a developer's edition / Verizon branded Moto X and set it up for GSM with a Consumer Cellular sim ( AT&T network), and it drops calls like crazy in my house. My old LG flip phone had a roaming only option and that phone worked fine.... so I'm hoping I can find a solution for this Moto X.
The only way the phone works at all is on GSM only, and I have the Global roaming enabled, but I think that means it will roam if it has to. Any info on this?
Thanks in advance...
hi guys,
last week i've bought a moto g LTE xt1039 (france edition if it's useful) but it has big problems with 3g (and i suppose with 4g too) network . It works only in 2G apparently. It's a very weird thing, the bars are turned on, which means that the signal exists, but i can't make or receive calls. It has a 4.4.4 android version, do you know if with the 5.1 it works properly, or it's just a hardware problem? thanks in advance

Hello, I have purchased an Unlocked LG G3 D850 AT&T variant from Ebay. I have cricket wireless as my service provider and thought for sure there would not be an issue as the phone seems to have the appropriate bands. However the keeps losing the 4G LTE signal and goes to E ( I think that's 2G ) and doesn't refresh to the faster network. I checked the APN. I did not create a new one but there was one titled NDO and it had the proper cricket apn settings. When I turn airplane mode on, then switch in of. The 4G LTE signal comes back again for sometime and then is gone again.
Should I return the phone?
I was thinking to have it flashed to another ROM ( Would be a 2nd time for me ) because I really like this phone despite this one issue.
Also cricket doesn't seem to be sending that message which pushes some kind of setting onto the phone ( the moto x did that )
What are your recommendations?
Thank you for your time.
I have bought a couple of F-350L LG G Pro 2 phones, and have flashed various ROMS onto one phone, including the 838 Roms, and left the other phone at the default Korean ROM.
I am on GiffGaff in the UK, which runs on the O2 network.
When I am in range of 3G signal, which is rare in my area, I get good download speeds. However when I can see "G" or "E" icons data does not download.
How can I get GPRS and Edge data to work? Is this a hardware issue? The same problem is seen on both phones.
I bought my gf a V50 Sprint Unlocked that she has been using on MetroPCS (Metro by T-mobile)It used to work fine until now but she recently moved to Evanston (near Chicago) and now she keeps losing network.
If she turns off 5G and keeps on LTE there is just no network. (but if it loses 5G automatically and switches to LTE, it works fine)
I remember this code that the seller gave me which is supposed to unlock the phone, MetroPCS used that code when I went to them.
Is there something one has to do when area/state (location) is changed?
Also is there any workaround for the video calling feature yet, I think that's related to VoLTE?
Nothing.?? bump
