I'm messing around with my phone (not the Nexus 5) to spoof the nexus 5 on google play's desktop settings page, I've done it on a HD2 to duplicate a Nexus One and a Galaxy Nexus to a Nexus 4.
My question to you owners of Nexus 5s, is there a icon that shows up in the Google Play settings page showing the nexus 5? or just the generic non-nexus icon?

Hey everyone,
I was just wondering if there is any widget that you can get that displays a document from your Google docs and automatically updates it. I am using a nexus 7.

I would like to change/mod/theme my application list icon. The little grey button with the six white dots on the dock bar that opens up the app drawer. On my old phone the .png was in the launcher apk. I decompiled GoogleHome.apk since that's apparently the stock launcher for the Nexus 5, but that icon, or any icon for that matter, was no where to be found. I already checked the framework and the system ui. Any ideas of where to check next?
It's in Google Search.

I was looking for that....but can't find the apk. Is it literally called googlesearch.apk?
/system/priv-app/velvet.apk
That's the system apk which is older than the one you have installed though. Its been updated since 4.4.2 OTA.

Thank you! I am on 4.4.2 and velvet.apk is there.
I side loaded android L on my nexus 5 ,but there seems to be issues with it. I lost my gallery app and one of the quick toggles in the notification panel is invert colors option instead of the auto rotate . What should I do?
The gallery app is not bundled in the Nexus 5 factory image. Google wants you to use Photos app. If u really want it back just search the forums. I saw a link to the old gallery app floating around somewhere. Or even better install piktures from play store..
There was another post about the invert colors toggles as well somewhere here, I just can't seem to find it. May be you will find it.

On my old Nexus 5, the left most home screen is Google Now. How can I get that on my Galaxy S6? I miss it The only way to get to Google Now is to long press the Home button.
Install Google now launcher from the play store

Hi, I'm looking to click a homescreen icon and have it run a search for "weather" in the Google app, NOT the browser.
This will essentially therefore load the new Google weather card from one tap of an icon, the way it should be, or the way iPhone users have it.
Thank you.
