You are far from a brick. Did you make a backup? Can you get into recovery? Do you have an engineering bootloader? Did you try to load a backup? What phone do you have?

meh, there must be a way
if you can get into recovery, have you tried a full data/cache wipe?
he said he can't get into recovery.
you should try to manually flash a recovery mod on your phone through ADB shell
Now i can get into recovery, but i got cant open chache/recovery/command error
ANDD!!!!!Now i can login into ADB shell how to reflash from .img file?
Im not exactly sure, but is there any at-boot options besides recovery (I.e. hold volume up or volume down at boot and see options (im coming from Atrix which has these))? If so, try to get into an option called fastboot. Its a protocall which allows you to use the fastboot program from the Android SDK on your computer to flash new images. There are precompiled versions from HTC (search google) that allow you to connect your device using the USB cable and flash new images. As I haven't even ever seen the device, I can't help u a whole lot, sorry.

First of all try reflashing recovery (you know fastboot flash recovery), in that way you will be able to access recovery again then try to install your favorite rom, please make sure on is for your phone model and if it comes with a radio also make sure that it's compatible with yours

I have the Motorola Fire XT rooted and deleted the build.prop file in the system. I have a back - up of the file on my computer but not my phone. I need to figure out a way how to put it on my phone. My phone is in a boot loop. Any help? Thanks.
You could push it to your device via adb. This can be done manually or you could use a tool such as this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1599332.
You need adb. Install adb and put the build.prop file in the same folder as adb and use the command "adb push build.prop /system"

What can one do if this action is needed (running ADB) but the user haven't turned on USB-Debuggning, nor can enter the recovery mode.
Considered a bricked device?

Hello,
Yes I do.
I can't get into recovery mode because the device gets stuck at the logo.
I know it's the correct buttons being pressed as I do have another same tablet which enters recovery without problems.
If you mean fastboot via USB-Debugging? Well I can't do any ADB because I don't have USB-debugging enabled.
Any idea how to rescue this tab?
Thanks

If resetting the device doesn't work, you don't have access to recovery mode/bootloader/fastboot or even download mode (depending on your device), then there is pretty much nothing you can really do to fix it yourself. The only other possibility would be to try to run the stock ruu (if it has one).

Thanks for the suggestions, but that would suck
Must be something I can do.
It's a Chinese brand tablet, the quality is good but this is the only issue.
However, if I plug in the tablet to the computer, something called "WinDroid Linker" shows up on the PC and I remote to the tablet while I'm on the screen that says I need to do a factory reset. From there I can reach keyboard settings, but that's all I've figured out so far.
Due to the fact that I'm able to remote the tablet, shouldn't I be able to do something from there?
I'm not, however, able to reach the storage as far as I know.
Thanks

If you can get into recovery mode, find the mount options. Mount /system. Then adb push the file to your phone.

Ya but if im in recovery my phone wont show up in the listed devices. And now my device wont show up as its booting up. If there is a way for adb to recognize the phone in recovery that would be great.
If you have adb properly setup it should see it in recovery. What recovery are youbusing? I do this stuff in clockwork all the time when I'm porting roms.

Sounds like you are on the old boitloader with 4 icons. The USB icon is for fastboot and won't do anything more once you select it......so that is normal.
Using the down volume control select rck and choose volume up to go to recovery.

My tablet freezes just before it reaches recovery mode
I'm playing hell with this tablet. Now it freezes just before it reaches recovery mode. And, I'm not sure how to get into fastboot mode. I've checked these forums, and the internet, but I can't find instructions. I don't use this tablet much except when I go out of town for work. It's rooted with an old rom. So my experiance with this table is slim. If anyone can help me with this problem you would be my hero for the day. Thanks to the people that have taken the time to help my this far.
I need help please
I have a 500.00 paper wate. My tablet will not boot. The screen stays on and I can't shut it off. I have adb installed, but my comp. does not see it. I checked the device manager and it is not there. i'm asuming it can't see it if it won't boot. If the comp. can't see the device you can't use adb. I don't know what to do. Please someone help me.

Does it actually get to the bootloader screen with the icons? If so then it is probably recoverable.
Sounds like you have a combination of wrong drivers on your PC and something got wiped on the device.
Have you seen Buster99's fixes here?

Hi and thanks for reading. Did not know what section this should go in to but here goes.
My S2 screen is dead I can not see a thing it turns on and I can hear the phone boot but can not see a thing. Repair is not worth it so is their a way to get my pictures etc without fixing the screen? I have a password set and no memory card inside.
You can boot it in recovery and access adb mode or just boot it normally and use ADB mode, you will have to pull the files ^.^
Hope it helps,
Daniel
