[Q] Accidentally wiped all partitions, bricked phone. - General Questions and Answers

I have an LG G2 D800 (AT&T variant) that was running CM11 with TWRP recovery installed. I was going to reflash the stock ROM, and decided to wipe all the partitions in TWRP. ALL OF THEM. Phone is stuck on the LG boot screen. I have TWRP backups for the stock and CM ROMs, but no way to get them onto the device. I can't access it through ADB as it says that the device is unauthorized. The phone won't even turn off now. What should I do? Please help.

If you have manual access to the sdcard you can use a micro sdcard reader to put the backups onto the device in the folder that restore the backups.
Or you can use lg's upgrade tool found on the support page for your device.
It will flash your device from lg's emergency mode.

Good luck! :victory:

[Q] Need help, transfer archives via recovery

Hi guys i need help, i wanted flash a ROM but i make format system, wipe data and i forgot transfer the ROM, now i don't know how transfer the Zip of the ROM, because i only. can enter into bootloader and recovery because the phone ovbiously don't start, help me.
PD: i can't use adb in recovery :c
If you wiped the data, there's nothing to recover.
Having the same issue now :crying:
Flashed my ROM and boot screen is stucked now, wiped all my data...
Have tried using TWRP and CWM old 4.3x but no luck, as when I try to boot recovery it just go straight pass it to boot the ROM. (Bootloader -> Recovery -> Volume Up)
I have noticed that my computer (Windows 8.1) is missing out driver for XT1034, however it should be identified as XT1032 not XT1034?
If I could get a driver software for XT1034, I could possibly use either Recovery mod to mount the /SDcarrd/ and then transfer the ROM zip file.
What I've currently using:
Tesco Moto G (8GB)
CWM v6.0.4.6
Previous ROM is Stock KK
Motorola DeviceManager Software - contains the drivers for Moto G
What I know was that my phone was definilty recognised as XT1032 and not sure why it changed to XT1034...
Please someone shed some light
Got it sorted now, back on 4.3!

[Q] Need help with AT&T LG G2 AutoRec (Lollipop)

Hello, I am using an AT&T LG G2 (D800 of course) and after Rooting I'd like to install CM. I've installed custom ROMs before and usually have no trouble with them, but I can't seem to install TWRP on my phone.
I've installed AutoRec for my model from the playstore to install TWRP but it doesn't seem to work. According to the tutorial I just have to reboot after the process and then boot into recovery, however when I do so from an app I do not have a recovery installed, and when I try to do it via hardware booting it just goes to the factory reset screen. I understand that booting into recovery this way will always show this screen and that I'm supposed to just confirm everything, then it should boot into TWRP. However doing so simply resets my phone.
Anyone have this problem or some more specific steps in order to help me?

Take my advise. Do not install CM12. The speaker volume is too low and the shipped camera is the worst camera ever. I went to CM12 nightlies and reverted back to Stock G2 firmware. Plus, paid app Cygic GPS didnt work and few other crashes here and there. But anyways, if you still want to root then use LG One Click Root http://www.andromods.com/news-root/lg-g3-g-flex-2-g2-lollipop-one-click.html

Bricked?

Hey,
so i was on nighlty CM12 and wanted to switch to CM13.
After i downloaded everything i booted to twrp and flashed the CM13 nightly zip and opengapps for 6.0.
Then i think i made the mistake. I thought i had to update the recovery so i switched to "Flash Images" and flashed the CM13 recovery to the recovery partition.
After flashing the cache i waited like 20 minutes and it was stuck on "Powered by android" screen.
So now it is still hanging there. Device is recognized as ADB device but adb devices show "unauthorized".
Booting with Vol+and Power results in a black screen + the device is shown in the device manager as "QHSUSB_BULK"
Do i have to try the hard brick method or are there other ways?
(I tried to install the qualcomm drivers but im getting an error about broken drivers)
I hope someone can help me
Do you make any backup of your ROM before flashing

[Completed] Lg g3 700 fastboot mode started when going to recovery

Hello I hope someone could help me.
I have an lg g3 D855 international version, with kit kat 4.4.2 and its the 10e version.
I've root my device in order to install new custom rooms. At first I wanted to go to android marshmallow official and wanted to do the flashing with lg flash tool, but in every computer I have, it does not working, its either stuck in 2% and then it fails, or 4% and then it fails, and I tried to erase an install the new drivers and the old ones in the computer... But I couldn't get it to work. So I decided to root my device, and install twrp recovery, so I did. First I try to install the latest version of twrp, this I did it directly from the phone via TWRP manager. It was supose to work... But when I finish installing and went to recovery.. It went to a black screen saying "[700] fastboot mode started" or sometimes "[760] fastboot mode started" to my surprise the phone is not softbrick. I removed the battery and then reboot the phone and it works... But everytime I go to recovery or tried to install a new bump recovery... Because i thought that was the problem is still the same. I tried to install a new recovery with ADB but when I put the file path in order to install it... It said it couldn't find the recovery img in the path... But it was there... And I tried, but couldn't get it to work. I have some experience with custom roms on samsung galaxy s3, but change my phone, and this lg g3 is really making me crazy.
Thank you very much in advanced.

[Completed] My phone only boots into Recovery mode. (CWM)

So recently I've taken my hand at attempting to install Cyanogen on my phone. But I believe something went wrong.
I installed CWM onto my phone and wiped my SD card clean. Then via ADB, I transferred the files required into my phone and installed the firmware. However, upon loading it, I ran into multiple errors so I decided to format the system/sdcard again and reinstalled it.
Now whenever my phone turns on, it just goes straight into recovery. I've attempted to use multiple ROM files to install onto my phone but nothing works. My phone is an LG Optimus G Pro ("e980") using CWM recovery if that helps. I'm honestly a little scared that I permanently damaged this phone. The only real thing I can accomplish is installing a ROM into the phone, so I know for a fact that if I can pass this loop, there's an OS waiting for me. :/

You flashed the recovery as boot, you can flash your boot img or reflash the whole rom...
You should be able to boot properly

With the assistance of TWRP in a zip file, I was able to flash my outdated CWM away.
Thank you for the confirmation, was scared if I flashed a recovery in a recovery, I would of lost something.
Great that you solved your problem.
