big problem whit my htc one x at&t usb mass storage device - AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL

hi all, hope u can help me.
i have an htc one x AT&T / CID 1111111
HBOOT- 2.14.0000
Unlocked
i just want to install a room but i cant.
I Install the recover cwm-6.0.4.5.img go to mount and storage but i cant because i got this message : usb Mass storage device leaving this menú unmounts your sd card from your pc.
i have the last driver on my pc and also htc sync. im try with openrecovery-twrp-2.6.3.0-evita without result.
I dont have backup only the room 4.2 to install.
hope u help me. i just want to my sd reconice my pc.
sorry for my bad english .

The message you get in CWM recovery (usb mass storage device, leaving this menu unmounts your sd card from your PC) looks right to me. That means it's currently mounted and should show up as a removable drive on the PC. Is it not showing up?
What happens when you enter the mount menu in TWRP and select mount usb storage?
Are you using the HTC usb cable? Are you using a usb 2.0 port? Have you tried different cables/ports? Have you tried with a different PC?

Hi,
Yes im using the HTC usb cable,
What happens when you enter the mount menu in TWRP and select mount usb storage? nothing, yes im tried whith a different PC.
its posible to get a recovery.img? coul fix the problem?

I don't think a different recovery will help, I don't think that's the problem. Does your device show up at all when connected to the PC? Did it ever connect properly? If it connected properly in the past what did you do to the phone before it stopped connecting?

Thank u for the help bro, im do this from this case:
Go to the folder you installed the SDK tools to If your on Windows 7 x64 and installed it using the default paths it will be located here C:\Program Files (x86)\Android\android-sdk\platform-tools when at that folder move the recovery image file in to that folder then hold shift and right click in the folder select open command window here.
Now get your phone back into the bootloader select fastboot and connect it to your pc when your phones bootloader says fastboot usb its connected and ready to fix.
type fastboot flash recovery openrecovery-twrp-2.1.8.1-evita.img
that will update your recovery to TWRP which is much better than CWM. From there you can select reboot into recovery from the bootloader TWRP will load up you can Wipe /system /cache then mount your phone to your PC and upload any ROM you want. I recommend AOKP or CleanROM and flash away.
my problema was that my cpu not recongine my usb. now i can format and install room
thank u

Any way to turn on debugging besides inside rom?

I am stuck on my phone with debugging turned off. I can go into recovery but get a failed command when I try to do stuff. Phone does not boot up into a rom but I know debugging is off. What can I do?

What "Stuff" are you trying to do ? Your best bet would be to mount the sd card on the computer via card slot, and copy a rom on the card. insert in again in your phone and flash. You do not need debugging on to flash a new rom.
when i go to mount the "Mount USB Storage" from recovery my computer says it needs to format the drive. I am scared to do that.

What does windows do if you say no?
it closes the dialog box but it does not allow me access to the phone to put a rom on the phone.
Unable to mount sd card seems to be the issue with failures in recovery commands.
Em does the phone see the sd fine?

... Except the fact the S does not have a removable SD card...
You could try enter the bootloader and try adb from there. I can connect to my device in bootloader via adb, but I havnt tried sending anything to it.
What recovery are you using? Ive heard (quite a lot) of people having issues with CWM not being able to mount the sdcard.
You could try TWRP instead, which you should be able to flash via fastboot.

[Q] stuck in boot loop

I've got my tf300t stuck in a boot loop when i turned it on today. (Ive looked around the forums for this issue already and been able to find little or no solutions that work for me)
I'm using cm10 and twrp. last night i shut the tablet off as usual and go to turn it on today and i cant get past the white asus logo and device unlocked screen.
I can access my twrp recovery menu, wiping dalvik returns a "E:Unable to mount '/data' (tw_mount)" cache wipes fine no errors.
I'm unable to flash another rom or restore from a back up as well.
Fastboot says its working but in cmd prompt it wont list the device. (computer recognizes it and it shows in device manager as android adb interface)
If there is any other information needed I will be more than happy to provide it.
any tips or help is greatly appreciated.
thanks in advanced.
I'm not yet very fammiliar yet with TF300, but from SGS 1 and ICS I remember one trick. If you have external microSD pluged, take it out or of you don't have it plug it in and then enter TWRP.
It probably won't work but you can try anyway.
Does TWRP have any file browser? I'm using CWM so I don't know much about TWRP.

Yeah it does have the file browser, upon initial booting i can browse an sd card ( i have a few of various sizes none seem to to be having any affect) and i can browse the internal storage as well. Booting both with and without the sd card in the device still leaves me in the boot loop.
So, can you copy new rom to sd card, then copy from sd to internal and install new rom? I think only option you have is to reinstall rom.

I can and have tried but it wont let me flash with the "unable to mount /data" error. It tells that my external sd-card and whatever rom i attempt to flash has problems

Be sure your sdk is up to date.
1. If you hold volume down plus power button to get to fastboot.
2. shift + control right click fastboot folder on computer then open command prompt.
3. type devices... and if it is not showing a device there something is not right.
4. you can try adb push to apply a flash if your device is not wanting to flash from sd card.

I've tried this as well. It was my first thought. Also it states in my original post that fastboot doesnt list my device, adb doesnt list it as well. Both are recent and up to date. However device manager does recognize it and windows makes the little notification sound. In safely remove devices it shows up as fastboot when i enable fastboot on the device.

You should mount the sd card using recovery and then use your PC to copy the zips you need back to your sd card and then flash them. Some recoveries will automatically mount the sd card as soon as you connect the phone and the PC with the usb cable. In others you may have to go into the mounts (or Mounts and Storage) menu and select mount USB storage or sd card.

Try to push rom file through adb side load..
I happened to me once..
Try this..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2575150
Plug her into computer
Make sure drivers are working for adb by mounting storage than running the command "adb devices" assuming you have set up your sdk. if your device shows up. Run this
"adb push ROM.zip*/data/media" in the prompt.
If your device is not recognized.
Update drivers manually using the device manager on your computer. You will need to install the drivers. That's easy. Just look up how to. That should fix it with minimal confusion

FIRST: calm down please
Which version of CWM is installed? You can mount USB storage in the recovery and simply copy a rom to your sdcrad as it will be handled as usb mass storage. In case you can't mount storage --> we'll get it working another way
WHY you use adb to copy files? Mass storage is even more easy + safe

[Q] Wiped everything - Unable to access internal storage from Computer

Hello
I have a big problem. I wiped my phone(HTC One m7), because since some updates, there was big noise problem during phone calls.
Now I have the problem, that I'm unable to access the internal storage for putting on the zip file containing a new version of Cyanogen mod.
I would be glad, if someone could help me. I see the (storage) device on the "computer" but it looks like a hidden file. If I try to access it by a command prompt, it says "The device is not ready".

EDIT: I have TWRP 2.5.0.0 installed, this works, but to install some software, I need to have a connection to my computer.

I have TWRP 2.5.0.0 installed and used to have older cyanogen mods installed on it. No I did a Wipe of "Dalvik Cache", "Cache" , "Data", "System" and since then, I'm unable to access the HTC drive from my computer.
I hope this answers the question.

Thats just what i like to know TWRP is still fine? You could flash a actual recovery which supports OTG to get a romfile to your recovery.
Easier was to mount the storage to windows. Does your phone handle the storage as "MTP" or "Mass storage" ? Have you been able to mount sdcard to your computer using TWRP when a working android version was installed? Or did you need boot up android to enter the phone's storage?
Edit:
forgot "g®eets"
Edit II:
You could also extract the needed partition "system" as system.img from a OTG update and flash it using fastboot. Running a RUU should work , too
Edit III:
You said nothing about you ereased the internal SD, so where are the pervious installation files and your backups gone?

TRPW seems to be ok.
If I press "mount USB-OTG", it says "unable to mount...".
Before I pulled the new zip files from the PC to the phone was in the "booted android" mode. I never tried opening the storage from my computer, when I was in TWRP, so I'm not sure, if it is a driver problem or something other. But I backuped most things this morning from my computer, so technically the driver shouldn't be broken in my understanding.

If I click "Fastboot" in the Bootloader, I just have 3 options: reboot, reboot bootloader, power down
But I don't know, if this is, what you want to know. I cannot install something using fastboot I think?

My fingers are already burning from typing for hours to fix phones lol. If you tick "fastboot" and connect your phone to the computer it will show up "fastboot usb"
Then you can flash .img files using the windows commandline by typing "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img"
If you never did before or just be not sure about
May be install "Teamviewer" As i will only need some minutes to do.
If you do PLS DO NOT post the id+pass here in the topic BUT send me a pm. Yes people already posted the acces codes here in public chat lol.
To explain how you (or me) can solve actual problems according to your phone:
Flash TWRP 2.7+ revovery to the phone by using fastboot command
Within TWRP you have a "ADB Sideload" feature
Means once the new recovery is installed a Rom.zip can be "pushed" to your sd-card by using ADB command
Then you'll have a flashable rom on your sdcard automatically gets flashed
Just tried all steps on mine own phone. Worked without any issues. Even restored my backup again
