Guys I've recently installed xposed installer and from then am facing serious battery issues... My battery doesn't even last one day... Precisely 12hrs...in battery management it shows android system is using 60%-70%...can anyone tell me is it because xposed or any other app is creating a nuisance... Stamina mode also doesn't extend battery life.... Any solution.?
Earlier I used to get 2days of battery life with moderate use.. Now without usage itself the battery drains severely.. When I started typing this post my battery was 28%and now it has reached 19%in just 5 mins... Installed snapdragon battery guru but it's still in learning mode...these are the packages in system... Is everything right with it or is it the real culprit in battery drain

Hi, after restoring my phone to run CM12 again, I find that my battery is taking too long to charge and draining so fast. I have tried calibrating 3 times, installed greenify, cpu tuner (extreme saver) but it is still the same. In standby mode (when the screen is off and doing nothing) the battery is great and can last for many hours without losing a percent. However, when I'm using it drains so fast and the bottom part of the phone heats up (not the battery). Given this info, do you think it is best to replace the battery? Or is the problem the phone itself? Thank you.
Hii everyone i need help regarding some issues with my battery.
1) I have changed the battery of my phone about 6 months ago. It was on lollipoo it was fine about battery. It used to drain about 3-4 percent of battery overnight. I m on stock .
2). Then came marshmallow update. After updating to mra58k my battery became superb it would only drain 1% battery overnight.
3). Another update came of some 5-6 mb it said some securiry and fixes. After updating that the battery drain increased overnight to 8-10 %.
4). Then after some days i rooted and tried many different roms even mra58k and even flashed lollipop rom also but battery drain cannot be under control. Now also it drains about 10 percent battrry overnight.
I dont know where the problem is i am charging with a microsoft 0.5 amp charger. As my stock charger has stopped working.
5) where is the problem i dont understand.( during overnight all Bluetooth, wifi, data, location is off,and signal is full)
Need help guys i m fed up of this problem.
And nowadays charge holding capacity is decresed it gets discharge very quickly with less performance oriented task also lIke chatting or surfing. ( i dont have fb app installed).

Ok
Will do now and see.
Thx for replying.
I didnt find the section of wakelocks.
I had this problem before I flashed the ROM, but that was several years ago so I can't compare between now and then, but it is clear that my device drains battery abnormally fast. I would say it lasts about 2.30 hours and it gets very hot over time.
To give a perspective, the miscellaneous battery drain went from 33% to 71%
Granted, I was installing new apps during that time, but I still don't see why it should drain so much, especially when it is miscellaneous that drains the most.
Buddy! You got a rom on there for just 4 hours! Way too soon to tell anything about battery usage and forget the on board battery statistics. Might as well read your coffee grounds...
Plus, tons of stuff is going on in the background after flashing a rom, indexing is one of them, AND Katshmallow is overclocked which makes the tablet run on the hot side anyway and eats battery. That's the price to pay for speed.....
Run it for a week, install Battery Battery Stats, maybe Wakelock Detector too, then we can talk about battery drain....
Is it me or when screen is off this phone still drain noticable amount of battery like 5% in 3:30hrs. P. S. No app is running in background. The battery usage shows xiaomi service framework and google taking 20% of battery total.
Edit : just saw on standby mode - radio battery drain is using up my battery, any fix for this?
I was also getting a 7 - 8% overnight battery drain which was unacceptable, however, I used the adb debloat tools to remove most of the shady systen apps that xiaomi pre-installs on the device and after that the drain doesn't happen at all. My phone sleeps like a baby with only 1 - 2 % drain overnight.
You should check out this thread.
Is there a way to determine which miui tools are the ones draining the battery?
Hi Guys,
I purchased my Note 10 a month ago. Since I purchased, I am experiencing heavy battery drain at night. Almost 40-50% juice is consumed. I am keeping wifi, mobile network, blutooth and sync off.
Is there any problem with my mobile?
Thanks in advance.
Shaggy
40% standby drain is definitely abnormal, most likely due to a rogue app consuming battery in the background. Install GSam Battery Monitor, run the following adb command to enable a detailed list of battery usage:
adb shell pm grant com.gsamlabs.bbm android.permission.BATTERY_STATS
and see what is consuming battery in the background.

Hi,
Thanks for help. I did found one app which was consuming battery. After disabling it, the power consumption reduced to nearly 25%. Is this normal now? I got 22 hours of battery life yesterday. Attached is the screen shot of battery drain pattern.
25% drain overnight is still way too much, and even though Google Play Services was active for 7.5 hours, it doesn't drain a lot of battery. My overnight drain is ~3%. You still have something consuming a lot of battery in the background. I don't use WhatsApp, so I don't know how much battery it typically uses. But something is definitely not right. If you can't pinpoint what is using so much battery, then do a factory reset and install GSam Battery Monitor but nothing else. Use the phone stock (without any additional apps) for a couple of days and see what your baseline battery drain is. Then install your regular apps one at a time and see how each one affects battery drain. You'll be able to identify which app is causing the problem.

Hi Sublimaze,
I found some more apps which were running in background for no reason. Now the battery drain at night is near to 5% only. I can blame fluctuating network signal in my area for this.
Thanks,
Shaggy
