So I just bought a universal gameklip, however I'm reading in the instructions that it has an a permanent adhesive that it has to attach to a case
So, does this mean that not only do I have to buy a case for my note 3, but I also have to attach and re-attach the case, every time I want to use the gameklip?
Please for the love of god tell me I'm wrong.

Their website is full of information. On the CaseMount product page, it says it excludes the Case. Luckily there are links for cases starting at only $3 on the page. The CaseMount product adheres to one of these cases and you can simply slip your device in and out as required.
There is a car mount at Kmart for $9 that actually works with anything and is "permanent" until you decide to remove it. The adhesive will come off cleanly with a little force, but does not feel flimsy while it is installed. I had an extended battery so the Moga, Gameklip, etc wouldn't work for me.

It's 3M double stick tape, and it is very strong. So, yes you'll need something else to put on the top to hold the phone. Personally, I use a Clinglo neklit instead. I have Galaxy Note II, but it applies here as well. I did a post in the thread in the Galaxy Note II forums: linky

I like the Neklit use because it makes the gameklip more mobile device universal. It wouldn't suggest using a large tablet. I've read taking a phone in out of a TPU case can cause it to stretch and sit loose. The other issue with the Clingo, in general, is that they may not work well with cases that are TPU. I do notice a difference in stickiness between the TPU and the phone itself. I find if the Clingo is clean, it sticks pretty well; enough I don't need to worry about it falling off while moving around.
I just attached some wide Velcro to the GameKlip and the case I use ('fuzz' on the phone, 'hooks' on the GameKlip), and it works just fine.

Posting here in case you don't read the Vibrant forum.
I've been searching for an armband for my Vibrant for awhile and decided to get the Tune Belt Armband.
This is the one I got:
https://www.tunebelt.com/domino/tunebelt/shop.nsf/parts/3FBB580A8B45C3DA852577AD00660D14
So far it's a very good armband except in one area. The length of the band itself is kind of short. If you have decent sized biceps, I highly recommend getting the extension. It only costs a few dollars more so it's well worth the investment in case your arm is too big. This should fit just fine on most women.
The armband fits with my Vibrant still inside it's case which is exactly what I was looking for.
Here are some pics.

Hopes this helps anyone looking for the right armband.
How well does it cope with water? Not just the kind from above, but also sweat from where it touches skin.
How much does it take to make the phone fall out? Looks like its "just" a flap with no velcro securing it in place?

I used to have a neoprene case exactly like this for an ipod and they don't deal with water...

It would take a LOT for it to fall out. The "flap" actually curves over the top of the phone because of the stitching and holds the phone very securely. I shook it as hard as I could and the phone did not budge.
To get the phone out, I have to hold the flap open and push the phone from the bottom, otherwise it doesn't come out.
As far as moisture, I would not run a marathon with any neoprene armband (at least not with a $500 phone in it). But for gym use, I think it's sufficient.
I'm going to run it through the gym the next few weeks and see how it holds up.
The build quality looks to be on par with my other 2 armbands and they've survived for a number of years now. Only time will tell.
So far I like it fits the phone almost to well was really hard to get off I got the grey one. was a bit pricey but IMO worth it.

I have one too. So far so good, though I didn't use the screen protector that came with it.
Is there a docking cradle that works with this case? I bought the one recommended by Samsung (EDD-D200BEGSTD) but it doesn't fit at all. There's a ridge in front of the USB connector that pushes up against the keyboard. I don't think it would fit even with the case off...
you mind posting links to cases that fit well?
i didn't get a case for the new cell so far since i always had trouble with them falling off when sliding the keyboard in and out after a while or didn't really fitting at all.
but if there's one that you ppl could recommend... my new electronic toy could use a lil extra protection
Case/cover.
I'm trying to find that case in UK as from us it will be about £20 !
Does anyone know where to buy it in UK or any online site but cheaper.
If not I will go for it as need to protect my precious (still waiting to be delivered).
Can anybody post some photos of that case as even on google pictures they not show it cover fully unit.
Or maybe someone have any alternative?
Regards
Mac
UPDATE
I just bought SA-321
http://www.incipio.com/cases/smartp...alpro-hard-shell-case-with-silicone-core.html
And even found discount code 20% less !
So I am happy now, no need to buy screen protector even.
Looks pretty good honestly, I may get one of those feather cases.

Just ordered the SA-321 for my wife's Relay. Btw, the coupon code no longer is active.
I have just received an SA-321 case. It's of very good quality and I like the rubbery-but-not-too-much feeling of it. Compared to the SA-316, it covers the power and volume buttons. It makes the power button a lot easier to press and the slide-out mechanism feels somewhat more solid.
I like it a lot.
Agree. Though a bit pricey, my wife fell in love with it instantly. Great feel, good protection, and looks great too.:good:

I just got this case today, and so far I'm loving it. The case feels very comfortable to hold.
The material feels very nice and high quality.
Its capable of standing horizontally for watching youtube videos or anything else you do in landscape mode.
The front, back, and closing strap all have magnets built in. When using the case as a stand, the closing strap can be bent backwards to the back of the case and it stays thanks to the magnets, keeping it out of the way.
I don't have a scale capable of weighing the case, but it doesn't add too much weight.
This has 3 card slots as seen below. Once you put a card in a few times, it gets a little looser, making it easier to insert them. The more cards you add, the bigger it will look when closed. With my 3 cards inserted, the case still closes with no fuss.
The case does stick out around the camera and flash. Even though it does, the flash is not crippled by this. To take pictures, you have to keep the wallet flap portion out of the way as it will cover the lens.
The plastic holster you see (where you insert the phone) has a small lip that surrounds the phone to protect it if you were to drop it on the face. I found it easier to insert the top portion first.

For only about $8, this is hard to beat.

This might ruin it for you, but I got the same case in the Seafoam Green colour, and enjoyed it somewhat at first. Then my friend showed me his "screen auto-turn on" wallet case, and let me try it for a weekend. I could never go back to this case afterwards. I then went, on the double, back to Amazon to purchase his case, and have been happy with it since: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00C54IEI4/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Yeah, it took me a long while too, until I got the name of the manufacturer off the case itself. Don't know why it isn't prominent in Amazon searches.
whoa the one suggested by king cole seems much cooler since i've been using s-view cover...but sadly enough they don't sell it on amazon canada
Hey guys I recently bought a UAG casing for my S5 online, and I realized that it doesn't really fit? I'm not sure but it looks like the casing isn't wide enough for the phone or something. Alot of times it feels liek the phone is "popping out" in a bad way, and I can see the gold trim around the phone too.
Do you think I bought a fake one? Cos it's very tough to remove the phone from the casing too and I can hear the creaks and feels like the phone is gonna bend or something!

It depends on where u bought it online? I have a clear one and right now prefer it over a ballistic case and a spigen slim armor cs case. Fits perfectly, and the phone is secure in it. It can be a little tough removing the case, but I prefer it that way... :good:
Mine fits perfectly in my case. It is a little hard to get out, but that it because it fits so perfectly. You shouldn't see any gaps or even any part of the bezel. I have seen a lot of fake UAG cases where they are, for lack of a better term, "warped" and don't fit snuggly, leaving gaps around the bezel. I would be a little concerned that you got a fake one. Where did you buy it? Also, the pics posted aren't coming up on my end to look at it.
Might there be a docking station for the Note 4 that's usable while the phone is in a case?
Not that I'm aware of. The Note two official dock works a treat with the Note four, but regrettable not with a case.
You'll find a case-friendly dock nigh impossible to come by because if it fits in the dock with a case on chances are it wouldn't fit properly without one. And then if a company DID decide to go that route they'd have to choose WHICH case to tailor their dock for, as many case have different thicknesses. A silicone case? A metal one? A flip case? They're all profoundly different when it comes to something like a dock that needs a snug fit to work well.
Unless you're handy with woodwork/metalwork/lego you can make your own dock to charge your device with your chosen medium and a USB cord. I know there's a guy somewhere who made a sweet-ass lego one that fits his QI charging mat in.
Sorry, I know it's not the answer you wanted to hear. Hope it helps nonetheless.
I bought an RND dock that does work, but with a caveat; if you have a case, the phone is basically balancing on the USB port itself, with no other support. I guess the only way they could think of to fit any sort of case was to have a removable insert on the base, but it then means you're not supporting your phone completely. Not thrilled about that, but I was getting tired of prying my case off every night just to dock it, so this is the best solution I could find.

Which case are you using? That might help. I have the Note 2 Dock which worked w/ my Note 4, but not when it was in the UAG case.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00N174JVA/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
The Note 4 with that case works in the Note 2 smart dock; you do have to cut the USB port cover off but then it's perfect.
There's a kidigi one that has an insert for naked phone and take it off for a reasonably thick case.
Check out the lamdba dockings (search for "docking lambda"). Can be adapted from 1-10mm in thickness of the phone and the phone is not only standing on the connector
