I have one too. So far so good, though I didn't use the screen protector that came with it.
Is there a docking cradle that works with this case? I bought the one recommended by Samsung (EDD-D200BEGSTD) but it doesn't fit at all. There's a ridge in front of the USB connector that pushes up against the keyboard. I don't think it would fit even with the case off...
you mind posting links to cases that fit well?
i didn't get a case for the new cell so far since i always had trouble with them falling off when sliding the keyboard in and out after a while or didn't really fitting at all.
but if there's one that you ppl could recommend... my new electronic toy could use a lil extra protection
Case/cover.
I'm trying to find that case in UK as from us it will be about £20 !
Does anyone know where to buy it in UK or any online site but cheaper.
If not I will go for it as need to protect my precious (still waiting to be delivered).
Can anybody post some photos of that case as even on google pictures they not show it cover fully unit.
Or maybe someone have any alternative?
Regards
Mac
UPDATE
I just bought SA-321
http://www.incipio.com/cases/smartp...alpro-hard-shell-case-with-silicone-core.html
And even found discount code 20% less !
So I am happy now, no need to buy screen protector even.
Looks pretty good honestly, I may get one of those feather cases.

Just ordered the SA-321 for my wife's Relay. Btw, the coupon code no longer is active.
I have just received an SA-321 case. It's of very good quality and I like the rubbery-but-not-too-much feeling of it. Compared to the SA-316, it covers the power and volume buttons. It makes the power button a lot easier to press and the slide-out mechanism feels somewhat more solid.
I like it a lot.
Agree. Though a bit pricey, my wife fell in love with it instantly. Great feel, good protection, and looks great too.:good:

Even though its silicone, this case actually looks as if it was made to accomodate the Desire, especially with it's protruding chin
Let us know how it fits and whether it's worth the punt
Just bought one, for £1.99 its worth a go. I'm not gonna use it all the time, just when i'm goin out
It looks ok, however i'm a little unsure as to whether or not the design will effect the pressing of the Home, Menu, Back and Search buttons as it appears the silicone covers the actual buttons.
Just my luck, I paid £3.59 and they've put the price down since!
I was worried about the buttons being covered also, but it looks well thought out:
You'll have to let us know if the trackpad is still accessible...there's a hole in the case for it but will the thickness of the silicone impede on trackpad usage.
Seen a slight scratch on the paintwork and my gel case is too thick for pouch. may have to get one. in fact for £2 may as well.
Oh snap!! Never knew they had screen protector as well. cheap ones i got are ok but are tricky to apply. Hopefully its the same quality as my ipod touch and diamond 2
That's kind of what I need but not exactly, I wish it didn't cover up the physical buttons.
If anyone finds a clear silicone case which doesn't cover the bottom front part (where the physical buttons are), please let us know!
Although, I might get this one for now because I don't like my Desire being "naked".
Cheers for the heads up, can't go wrong at £1.99
can't really complain about the price but it's a bit difficult to tell whether or not it's really chunky, or slim like the Nexus One covers that people have been getting to fit.
Ordered the 2 pack with the screen protectors
Granted it will take 2-3 weeks to get here...$10 for a deal like that is pretty good
Could anyone suggest subject?

Friend of mine ordered the smaller version of the tunebelt and he's ecstatic over it. He's been through a couple too.
My wife loves her tunebelt, not too expensive on amazon either.

Thanks for reply guys!
I was looking at the same model.
AlgorithmX, because you have it, could you comment on quality and usability. I need this thing mostly for sports. It's kind of difficult to judge on picture. Does touch still works through that plastic? How it holds moisture? And how good is velcro?
I posted in the Vibrant and i9000 forums, but I got the larger version of the Tune Belt. It fits with my phone still inside it's TPU case which is what I was looking for. I think the smaller version would be too tight if you want to keep it in your case.
If you have above average sized biceps, you will need the extension as the band is one of the shorter ones I've seen, but luckily the extension is very cheap and works well.
Here are some pics.

No hole for a headphones cord?
And how do I know what is bigger/smaller version? I have only thin silicone on my phone and do not want to take it off every time.

The headphone cord comes out of the flap at the top. I can take a picture later, but it's the same open you slide the phone into, so there's plenty of room.
The model numbers tell you if it's the smaller one or larger one. As you can see in my pics, my phone has a TPU case on it and fits very well inside the armband.
AB82 = Smaller
AB83 = Larger
Finally got my paws on it and used it for a while.
IMHO, this armband is useless for sports. It is like a sponge!
I got bigger version and it fits the phone in the silicon case. However seams inside do not allow plastic to touch the screen, so it's pretty difficult to control phone on the run.

I'm assuming you're talking about the TuneBelt right? If so, it's neoprene. While it may "retain" sweat/moisture, it shouldn't absorb it, neoprene is basically sweat proof. It "retains" some of it temporarily, because the material is breathable (which you definitely want) I have the smaller ab82 that I used with my Touch Pro, and I can tell you from using it at the gym a bunch, if you check it a few hours later, it should be bone dry again as the sweat evaporates out of it, doesn't leave it gross or smelly, etc. Wetsuits are made out of the same material for this sorta reason.
As for the seams on the screen.. ya it looked that way in the pictures above. Still, looks to be the only good solution out currently for phones as big as ours.
Thinking of getting this case for my G2. Has anyone tried it out. If so, how is it (snug fit, any problems opening and closing phone)? thanks.
So I decided to get the Mobi Case. I had the original T-mobile gel case, I gotta say I like this one much better. I had problems with my G2 opening really easily with the gel case and problem solved.

I thought about getting this case but I wasn't sure. Does it fit snug? For some reason I was worried about it scratching any of the soft parts. I really love the way the g2 looks naked (haha). How much was it and where did you get it from?
Sent from my T-Mobile G2 with Virtuous Sense.
I have to agree with you I also like to see my G2 bare some skin, hell that's one of the main reasons I bought this phone. The case is quite snug on the phone. I didn't have a problem with it scratching either. But after a day of use, I have noticed some scuffs on the body part of the case (from setting it down). I got it with tax, shipping and 10% off for $17.60 @ the Android Central Store.

Cheapest i've found.
Its a decent case...more protective then it looks, I've had it for a few months now

I appreicate the feed back. I almost went with htc's version of the clear case but it doesn't cover the trackpad area like this one. I think ill go for it. I have the hard rubberized T-Mobile version which I think is awesome for the protection, and the price. (17.99 I think). Also, with any clear case there are going to have those scuffs regardless. Im still waiting on otterbox to make a case. I figured they would considering they made one for the mytouch slide Thanks though!
Sent from my T-Mobile G2 with Virtuous Sense.
I love the looks of it but... don't you lose the grippyness (if thats even a word, lol) with that case opposed to the popular OEM gel skin?
I dont feel like you lose grip at all. Waiting for my new one to come in.
Sent From My HTC Vision and XDA App
There is still some grippiness but not as much as with a rubberized case. Its still a decent amount though.

UPDATE: Well after about 8 months of only using this case, one of the clips that hold the case on (on the battery end) has broken off. I guess that's expected after taking it on and off who knows how many times. I gotta say, I definitely got my $17 out of this case and will probably buy another one just like it to replace this one.
I was looking for the HTC metallic cases online, and found them on many sites for $19.95, which I didn't want to pay after seeing some posts on here saying the clips wore down. I found them on htcpedia.com for $8.99 for metallic, and $9.99 for the clear and black ones.

I've never purchased from them but you can use Paypal and there are customer reviews on the products so I gave it a shot. Just thought I'd share in case anyone else was interested!
What do you mean by metallic? are they metal or metal apearance with a plastic build..
That's just what HTC calls them, I don't know. Look at the pics?
Does metallic mean they're like my case? Mine looks plastic but the inside of it is metal, something about the signal, I don't know for sure.
Hmmm, if someone does decide to order, would like to hear a review on the quality.
Sent from my T-Mobile G2 using XDA App
Search this forum. There previous posts about it. Also a user from here made a YouTube video about the black one. Just search for it on there.
Also ime metallic refers to color and not material.
Here, I got the links for you.
Metallic: http://www.youtube.com/user/wirelessground#p/search/18/UQObS6fsY6Q
Black/clear: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HTpyMfm_WHM & http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nR-OS12ileM&feature=related
I have the clear case. Bought it at my local T-Mobile store for $9.99. It has a very snug fit but looks amazing as it lets the sexinesss of the G2 show. The case has the stand which allows the phone to sit up on its own in landscape or portrait. Be careful pulling case off the back of the phone. Very tight and if not careful will scratch phone.
Sent from my HTC Vision using XDA App
I think you're mistaken - these HTC cases don't have kickstands. I think Body Glove or someone made that one.
Anyway, just a quick review - my case got here in 2 days with Fed Ex (NY to IL), I'd definitely buy from that website again. The case made the phone seem bulky at first but after the first day I was used to it, and it doesn't seem odd at all anymore. I like the finish a lot. I would recommend these cases, especially since they're made by HTC and that gives them the best fit possible.

They are great, but they really get in the way when typing on the top row of keys.
Nonsense!

What a bummer,
I was walking n listening to music on my DHD as my front panel case fell and took the phone along with it
my DHD is still functioning but I need to replace the glass.
I just threw my cheap Chinese case I bought on eBay for a buck.
I don't mean to make he same mistake again. after I'll repair it I'm buying a
descent one. any suggestions?

Im using Momax TPU/ABS case. Avaliable on Ebay. its quite pricy for a TPU case but the quality is really good, excellent product, dropped the phone in some pretty rough places and protected it quite well. It is about 15~20USD. IMO, worth it. another case I also use is the CaseMate Barely There, it is a thin case but not as protective. I did a review which you have have a look here.
