HI ,
I saw many thread talking about qualcomm optimization, I wonder that our Stock Kitkat is included these libraries ? Or have to root and flash this libraries?
It doesn't come with 4.4

You must unlock the bootloader first.
By doing it on the moto G, what are the before and after results on antutu and stuff? I saw some results improving alot on the N4.
Has anyone here tried these optimizations on a Moto G? Is it worth the trouble? How does it affect ? life?

I may be very wrong but aren't those dalvik optimisations only for Krait type processors......moto g Is cortex so ?
Has anybody got firm confirmation whether moto G has the Qualcomm optimizations or not? Have been searching high & low & every site or thread I cone across only say things like moto g should have or likely has or may have but none have confirm it which drives me crazy

Hi guys,
I have just tried this and no difference at all. Benchmarks shows similar results.
I also compared files content and only two files were different.
The good thing is it doesn`t cause bootloops
It seems we have already optimized stock rom.
Hi fabus when u say u tried this do u mean u actually flashed the optimization files on your G & then compared the flashed G with the stock G?

that`s right
Benchmarks before and after flashing.
Unless the optimised files did not work on the G because it's not using krait & essentially both were stock GS being compared with each other.

I haven't had time to flash it today will probably try it out tomorrow, don't know about English/Chinese as I found the page linked through Google searching for "moto G rom" I have tried googleing "Mokee Moto G" but couldn't finds anything related to the moto g, hence why I created this thread, to try and get some info before I flash

I've tried a 4.3 mokee ROM on my original galaxy s and it was noticeably smoother than other 4.3. Not sure how it would run on 4.4 on the moto g, but I can confirm that it does have English support.

Tried it
It's a very good rom but on the xt1033 as on most roms plus when i connect to wifi i get system ui fc
So I just flashed this on my XT1032 and first impressions pretty good, seems pretty smooth and has a nice scrolling animation. Only 3 Chinese apps not got much time to play around at the minuite as I am at work, so I will post any new findings later on.

Does It have all languages?
Inviato dal mio Moto G utilizzando Tapatalk
I didn't check which are supported, but there is the option to select the language at the startup as usual

Yes there are may languages, what language is it your looking for?
There are shortcuts to, clock, calculator, camera, calendar and Apollo in the recent apps and the option to lock any app into the memory too.
The only issue I can fined so far is pocket mode doesn't seem to work, but that's hardly a deal breaker.

just found another bug. The camera doesn't work if you click the icon you get a message saying unfortunately camera has stopped. And if you use the lockscreen widget it just hangs and a reboot is needed. 17/03 build

A fix for this is to flash the stock moto g camera zip that @dhacker29 created, if anyone needs it

Thank you

Frankly, stock ROM with faux kernel and pure performances mod has the best battery backup. I pulled 2 days of battery through it.

got it
I prefer cm11 with xperience kernel...Its one of the best kernels around... But it doesn't work well with performance control so use trickstermod for the kernel tweaking since cyanogen mod doesn't have an inbuilt kernel tweaker.... If you are willing to wait a bit, then c-rom is the best IMO...the devs are on a vacation so once the commits are updated, xperience kernel will work perfect...or you can use an older version of the xperience kernel if you can't wait with c-rom....The inbuilt wakeblocker is also very useful...
But its a bit buggy c-rom
