[Q] Is Stock 4.4 included qualcomm optimization?

HI ,
I saw many thread talking about qualcomm optimization, I wonder that our Stock Kitkat is included these libraries ? Or have to root and flash this libraries?

You must unlock the bootloader first.

By doing it on the moto G, what are the before and after results on antutu and stuff? I saw some results improving alot on the N4.

Has anyone here tried these optimizations on a Moto G? Is it worth the trouble? How does it affect ? life?

I may be very wrong but aren't those dalvik optimisations only for Krait type processors......moto g Is cortex so ?

Has anybody got firm confirmation whether moto G has the Qualcomm optimizations or not? Have been searching high & low & every site or thread I cone across only say things like moto g should have or likely has or may have but none have confirm it which drives me crazy

Hi guys,
I have just tried this and no difference at all. Benchmarks shows similar results.
I also compared files content and only two files were different.
The good thing is it doesn`t cause bootloops
It seems we have already optimized stock rom.

Hi fabus when u say u tried this do u mean u actually flashed the optimization files on your G & then compared the flashed G with the stock G?

Benchmarks before and after flashing.

Unless the optimised files did not work on the G because it's not using krait & essentially both were stock GS being compared with each other.

Its the same like stock. Maybe 50mb more..

The stock ROM, before apps are installed (ie. Dropbox, whatsapp, viber, facebook, etc, etc) uses 290mb (364mb available). I don't know what CM currently uses. As to performance, the stock ROM is significantly better than the two custom ROMs that I have tried. This performance gap can be further widened by installing Faux. I have returned to stock after being disappointed with the current status of the custom ROM's.

this week there will be official release of miui v5 kitkat based rom for nexus 5 with weekly updates. this should be ideal rom for porting to moto g rather than tablet centric v6

My moto g broke over heated they sent me a new one. I rang them back and said will it be sim free no but we will send you a new sim free one got Mr new phone locked then two days later another phone came in the post but can not unlock boot loader so I am stuck

I'm porting MIUI for the Moto G, but it doesn't boot (bootloop), I'll appreciate a lot if some of you can help me out

[Q] SYSTEMUI constantly crashing on XT1033

As the topic suggests, I've experienced System UI constantly crashing on me. It crashed and then come back to normal a few seconds later and sometimes it just keeps crashing on me in A loop!
I've tried to switch ROM and kernel but it didn't work out for me. (N5X with The Green Machine) And wiping cache and Dalvik didn't work too.
I'm currently on CrDroid B10 with Pink Kernel 0713. Xposed Framework installed for Greenify.
Any solutions?

It looks more like a bug with the ROM...converting your phone to gpe should fix the problem...

Idk, I've been switching kernel and ROM but the problem persists. Any alternatives? I need dual sim.

You will have to wait for the bug to be fixed it switch to another ROM...

Only crdroid, cm, gummy have dual sim support. I might have missed one or two.
N5x is based on aospa, it doesn't support dual sim. Theres a n5 rom based on CM, you should give that a try.
None of the other roms work with dual sim.

I'll try to switch to N5X, downloading the rom now. Will report the result here.

Do not download that ROM...go for gummy ROM...nx5 is a cyanogenmod based ROM which is pretty laggy and pathetic at gameplay

I am using elementary kernel at this moment but I had a small bug, when wake with DT2W don't work fine the touchscreen on the lockscreen if Swype velocity on screen..

Just try things out. There is no best kernel.
