Me too
Whenever you're installing an ruu, you need to change the super cid back to it's original name.

Doesn't Maximus and hboot 2.16 require MTP only access to SDcard? It's all in EXT4 format now, which windows can't see?
That's the reason why I deinstalled Maximus 5 Minutes after setup! There are some pretty good sense 4 and 5 alternatives like Magio or Venom. I don't know how to handle that issue with Maximus, but would be interested how to solve it!

Well with that hboot, the firmware wasn't installed. You have to follow the instructions. And you also have to use that recovery provided.
And to the others, my pc can access my phone just fine, like any other Rom.

Hey guys, I dled virtous Quattro rc 2. I have the sensation z710e running sense o maniac and I used to have virtous Quattro alph 3 which was good apart from WiFi so I tried dc2. Whenever I go to install it,even after a full wipe using super wipe sensation from arhd it says script assert failed and error in script rc2 status 7. I tried to download it again but it didn't work. have pg58imh but the problem is whenever I put it into hbioy it says it has to update so I do it and rwstart it afterqards. When it is put back into hboot it does it again. Is there a kernel or another IMG firnware thing I should flash first?

Remove SD card boot into bootloader then go into recovery them put SD card back in mount as USB mass storage delete file then if have rom already in sdcard flash new rom and your set to go
hm i deleted the image and wiped and went i went to install the rom it still didnt work it says: asset failed: getprop(".product.device")=="ace" l l getprop("ro.build.product")=="ace"
E:Error in /sdcard/virtuous_quattro_rc1_spade.zip ( status 7)
INstallation aborted.
It says that for beta 8 and 9, and also rc 1+2 so its not the file. God damnit it will never work for me. Can somebody talk me through the entire procedure to make sure im doing it right?

You're installing a rom that's not made for your phone... RC2 isn't even an option for Sensation... Alpha 3 is the latest... Get the correct rom and try again.
Its failing because the rom is checking the model ID and you have the wrong rom version.... You have the Desire HD version just by looking at your error message.
Aw god damnir I don't like.that one because the WiFi is bad and.you video anything on it

A lot more than the wifi won't work if you install a rom made for the wrong device. If you absolutely have to have everything stable installing an alpha build is probably not the best idea.
Also the wifi works fine on alpha 3.
Hi everyone,
I am a bit confused concerning the Hboot version and CWM recovery. Here is the situation :
I put a custom ROM long time ago (HTC operator ROM for the HTC official ROM). A few days ago, HTC deploy an update (OTA). My phone downloaded it and i tried to install it. However, CWM told me "can't find the XXX.zip" etc on the SD Card. So i tried "Install from zip" in CWM and it did it good.
However, since this, I lost my wifi tether so I thought I lost root and so on. Then, I flashed again with that : RUU-Pyramid-ICS-hTC-Europe-3.33.401.53-Radio-11.76A.3504.00U-11.24A.3504.31-M-release-280871-signed.exe (like the first time but the last version).
To root again, etc., i did that :
Code:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
However, CWM recovery never wanted to start from the bootloader menu (i have only the CWM loading screen and then, my phone reboot normally).
I tried then to downgrade my HBoot to 1.17.2008 and from that, I can now access the CWM recovery. However, with that Hboot, my phone is stucked on the loading HTC screen (white screen and HTC green logo). When I put the HBoot back to 1.27.1100, I can't access CWM but i can start my phone.
What is the problem and how could I make that phone work good?
NB : I'm S-OFF, etc..
Thank you everyone !

Hi,
I can assume you are back on hboot 1.27
Look HERE
Use one of the 3 methods to install 4 EXT recovery.
Format all partitions (except sd card)
Then,flash an ICS ROM.
I think that when you ran the RUU,you lost your recovery

Hi malybru,
Thank you for your answer. As a matter of fact, I'm back with hboot 1.27. I can also tell you that I've install 4 EXT yesterday and it runs very well (backup, etc.) even if I can't with CWM now, so it is a good point.
Concerning formating all partitions, can you tell me what partitions will be format precisely ? Finally, I'd like to install that OpenSentation2 which looks good (that thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2002883). The trouble is that I was wondering the following questions :
1. The Radio will be flashed ? I dont wan't to lose that but I dont know the relation flashing a ROM or erasing partition and the Radio ROM.
2. Can I flash a Rom like that or should I take care of the firmware, the radio, or anything else before all?
3. What do you mean by saying "I think that when you ran the RUU,you lost your recovery" ?
Thank you in advance for advices

1) and 2) :if you have 3.32fw or 3.33fw you are fine
3)by using an RUU returns your device into completely stock situation as you bought it
that means that you have also stock recovery.that's why you lost your first recovery(CWM recovery)
first format all partitions(except sdcard) from recovery
then follow the installation steps from rom thread

I did it with another HTC Sensation and it worked well, that's why I don't understand. On top of that, the CWM recovery works when i put a 1.17 hboot. I'm confused.
Than you for all that information . Would it be possible with 4EXT (after deleting all partitions (except sd card) and flashing a ICS rom) to come back to what I have now with a 4 EXT backup? I mean, that backup is a 4.0 android, a htc sense rom, and so on. There's no compatibility problem to put a very different backup ?
Thank you

Hi, seems like my One S's sdcard partition has corrupted. been using TWRP 2.500 and recently upadted to 2.6.30 to use the new Maximus Rom. During the rom installation, I wiped the sdcard sectrion by mistake so I couldn't get to flash the zip file, then, I've tried multiple times of recovery.img flashings via RUU mode or on the bootloader screen. Finally when I got the TWRP recovery mode again, it says the sdcard folder only accepts 48 MB so I cannot push any custom roms since they are bigger than 500MB... Any ideas? Should I send it to the repair shops? Please Help!! Thank you!
FYI, my phone was
Tampered, Unlocked, S-off
also, when I press mount button on TWRP, this list appears
Cache
Data
Internal SDcard
System
USB-OTG
but I select Internal SD, the computer says the removable disk has only 48MB of available space.(I wiped it multiple times!)

Yes, don't sweat it. It is repairable.
It's hard for my to tell what you missed, because you didn't write what you did. So just follow installation instructions in the first post of maximus Rom. (flash new firmware, modified recovery, then Rom).

All of these steps work for me except flashing the recovery as a ZIP. I get the wrong CID error (code 42 if i remember correctly). Thing is, I flash the .img directly usign fastboot flash recovery and that works but then the install process says, in android, transfer ROM. At this point, I don't have access to the SD card and the ROM is not in my sd card (it was wiped anyway?)
*EDIT*
Ok I changed my CID to 1111111 and now it works to flash the firmware. I still get partitions errors it seems though.
What I did is flash the stock recovery, clear storage, factory reset, reflashed the firmware given in Maximus thread, then the TWRP given and still, I get problems with my sdcard not mounting?

if you are talking about mounting usb storage in recovery, then no, you cannot do that on Maximus HD rom. (it's a modified TWRP to work on the new firmware)
You can sideload in TWRP or ADB push the rom to your sdcard.
I would give you a link to a page describing it, but search is unavailable right now, have to try later.
But just search that thread with keyword sideload. There you will find the exact commands to load the rom onto your sdcard.

It went back to 48mb
Hi i had the same problem with my htc one s.So i paniced and for some reason i put s-on(I deleted the os from the pc using mount storage) I managed to fix it by installing the recovery as zip. Then i tried to adb sideload a rom but it didn't work. So i went to boot loader then to fast boot and did fastboot flash zip Energyrom.zip. That gave me an error so i went back to recovery to try to side load the rom again, but my sdcard went back to 48mb.I reflashed the recovery (the one from install package) same thing . What do i do????? I need help asap i want my phone back (IM ONLY 12) Please reply asap.

I think the easiest way is to flash the stock recovery and then do a sdcard wipe then a factory reset.
After that, you go through the process as described in the maximus rom thread, you will have to flash with sideload. That should work afterward
I am doomed
Hi guys,
Yesterday I decided to try MaximusROM 10.0.0 HD on my HTC One S, which is s-OFF and with superCID. The problem is: I didn't flashed first the rom as it was said, and I just used the Installation Package, installing directly the firmware.zip and the modified recovery. I tried to follow the steps written before, but now my phone works with the stock rom but it says that there are only 48mb in sd card, and that means that I can't even take photos, because I have no memory left. I found out that my phone, when is booted up, in settings says that I have 15,96GB of space for applications. What can I do?

twrp is installed though.
If you flashed the required firmware your hboot version should be 2.16. Just boot into bootloader to find out which version you're using.
And the correct TWRP version is either the modified version 2.6.1 you can download from the MaxismusHD thread or the modified version you can find in this thread. Look at post #3 to find what you're looking for.
2.15
all i want is my storage back and for it to remain unlocked for all sims,

If you want to install MaximusHD you will have to follow the install instructions in the OP of the thread and this will upgrade your hboot version to 2.16 and install TWRP 2.6.1.0. Then your phone will show the correct amount of storage. Word of warning, some people have had problems with in call quality on 4.2.2 sense rom's, it seems to affect some phones more than others. If you don't want to do this, you can install Viper which is also 4.2.2 and keep hboot 2.15. Or you can use and RUU to go back to stock, your phone will stay sim unlocked but the latest official version is android 4.1. The RUU files are here, you can also use this unofficial RUU based on 4.2.2.
thanks for everyones help.
installed viper and rectified storage.

Is that CWM recovery a modified one that will work with the new firmware that you need for Maximus?
I don't keep up with all the new stuff, but the TWRP provided in the install of Maximus is special. If your CWM is "special" too, then ok.
Now the special TWRP provided with Maximus unfortunately doesn't move files from pc to the phone. I know that sucks.
If you knew all this and your sd card partition has really been corrupted then you will need to install stock recovery. Once that is installed you go into BOOTLOADER and select clear storage.
From there you will need to run an RUU to get back to stock. (so that you can move a ROM from pc to sd card ) then do the whole Maximus install all over again.
if you don't have an RUU that will work you can install the firmware http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2322755
This will bring you back to the old 2.15 hboot and older partitions so you can install the 2.15 roms to get a working phone to do what you want.
Alternatively, you could learn what adb push is and that will allow you to move files from pc to your phone on the "special" recovery.
