How to root? How to root?
Have you checked the forum for the xperia e, there are many ways to root the xperia. Since I am so Kind I'll tell you right know!
Download Kingo Android Root and Install it (google it)
Make sure you have USB Debugging enabled on your xperia e. Settings > Developer Options > USB Debugging.
Open Kingo Android Root and Plug your phone in, the program will install drivers if you haven't already!
Then Click on Root and let it finish and your rooted!

Yes i checked the forums and I didn't find anything. Anyway, I was pessimistic about Kingo Android Root but I have research a little and I found out that this program is efficient. I have downloaded it and it is working fine. I have rooted my E. Thank you man! :good:

RE:how to root sony xperia E
I did everything you said and I said that I have root access, like I said in previous post. Today I downloaded an app that requires root access and it said that I cant start the app because I dont have root access. How is that possible??

Exactly, I think the interface is pretty much ok, its just this "some" (a lot) of junk that has to go...Would like to clock it too and under-volt it.
Cant really see the need to install CyanogenMod on this phone as I did on my Defy, nor do I use my Launcher Pro.

Wouldn't the rooting procedure be the same for mini pro and active?
ZergRush Exploit works on Gingerbread devices inludes all Xperia 2011 and the bootloader can be locked for the root
That's great to know. Thanks

Xperia LT15i ROOTING HELP

I have posted on here before but no-one bothered to answer so I'm posting again.
I need to know how to root my Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc LT15i. I have the ICS 4.0.4 standard SE issue installed with a locked bootloader. I have followed several tutorials on this site and ended up having a phone that keeps crashing after starting up.
1. Where is the ROMs required to install before rooting?
2. Where is the tool to root this phone?
3. Where is the latest ROM for ICS?
Also, clear instructions would be appreciated - please don't direct me to another forum topic because that didn't help at all.
google or search

[Q] Lost root access after Verizon jellybean update

Hello,
I am brand new to this forum and I apologize if this has already been answered elsewhere... I just purchased a samsung galaxys3 and i rooted the phone in order to get my MOGA controller to work with all of my games. I am not a very experienced user when it comes to these things, but everything turned out ok and I was able to use the controller the way I wanted... however, last night Verizon updated my phone to Jellybean 4.1.1 and after the update I no longer have root access Is there a fix for this? I already tried to redo the root process and it is not working. I have the super user app reinstalled but it tells me it does not have superuser permissions... I just wanna play my games. lol... any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

OTA updates usually remove the root. U gotta root it over again. Not with the old procedure u might have used to root when it was on ics. It won't work on 4.1. Use method specific for 4.1. Look into ur respected forum for the steps.

[Q] Sony Xperia Root (Kingo ROOT) Please Help !

Hello guys, i have Sony Xperia E4g phone and i want to root it. This phone is new brand and as i research there is no more way to root it other than Kingo Root (A few comment and one video (for E4) confirms that it can root E4g) but the question is in my mind:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2516942
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2604749
Those two links...
First link is says its unsafe (malware) but it will be analyzed, someone will research about it.. no offical ending about research
Second link says its safe with Kingo Root declration
Guys, say me, i belive that the correct and safe answer on the web just this forum, xda forums,
So, is Kingo Root safe, can i root my device with no worries ? (collecting user data, malware etc) Please experinced users, or any user who try and research it
(dipnote:if there is a safer maybe offical way to root Xperia E4g i will be glad about it)
Thank you
Note to mod: i did not found dedicated part for my device at the forum, so i thought "General" will be ok, sorry
