I have a port of this rom but you asked for permission Venom Team.
If they said ok I shared link to this very cool rom.

Don't we have viper port v 3.0.1 on the Chinese forum which supports OTA as well
U should ask permission for just bringing that rom here rather than porting it from scratch with a no. bugs

I have 3.0 but how do you install 3.0.1 its not a full package its an OTA one i flashed it but then got bootloop...Have you tried getting to 3.0.1?

U can't publish Viper ROM without permission of Venom team, simple as that and I belive they will not allow it.

You're right.
And it is not allowed to use placeholder threads in the development section.
If you don't have your content ready or if you're still waiting for permissions, then make a thread in the general section or simply don't create a thread at all.

You have to flash boot.img separately from OTA
And I didn't even try this rom but read the forum a little using Google translate
How is the rom by the way?

I downloaded the OTA extracted boot.img from there and flashed it but still got bootloop... And its perfect pretty much nothing wrong with it apart from the bugs that have been fixed in the OTA i can't seem to flash lol. But the bugs in 3.0 is you cant run root apps and the reboot button inside venom tweaks doesn't work but you can just use the normal reboot button inside power menu.
So yeah basically stable apart from root apps but if i can figure out how to flash OTA it will be perfect.

[Req] PhoeniX ROM For I9505 Users - Testers

Hi friends,
I am the developer of PhoeniX ROMs for Note II and S4 I9500.
Since I don't own any S4 varient, I am using testers for my roms here.
I am going to try to develope PhoeniX ROM for I9505 users, and for that I need around 3 testers.
The testers must be available for downloading & flashing when I send them the download link.
Always make sure you have nand backup +efs backup.
Basically, I will send with the download link several questions and the testers just need to answer them.
Also, they need to try the rom and check for bugs.

Amm the problem is that in my roms I put security code to prevent from other models to install the rom in order to prevent any farther issues:

Rom is not uploaded yet, still working.
But, the rom flashes stock boot.img with init.d support

Ill first try wirhout a kernel.. if it boots ill let you know.. if it doesnt ill flash ktoonz latest. Which is what I do when I flash all other i9505 roms

hi, im running a I9505 in norway. and my phone keeps looseing coverage even thoug it should be picking it up?
it starts out fine, but reletively quickly the phone looses coverage and i can't call.
here's the strage part...
i can recive textmessages.
i have not tested it with calls yet. but i think that migt work to.
can any one help me?
i can get back coverage if i set it to plane mode and back, but thats not a real solution...

I've Installed Phoenix Rom v7.3 and I can't make or recive calls, the couverture is Ok, but the call screen Stops when trying to call or receving calls, also, Com.sec.phone is stopping and Com.Android.phone also

I went to trouble of trying to port Android Revolution 40.3 from the HTC One using Cyanogenmod 11 Hboot 2.16 as the base. I would be very grateful if somebody could help me debug it and get it booting. If we do i will include full credits in the rom thread if/when its working

Cm will never work as a base now we there is already a thread about devs porting it but it will be tough to get it booting even to the boot animation

Just got done installing OTA was pushed to my phone. Working flawlessly. I wasn't rooted so I wasn't able to pull the file (I think that's why.) I looked in /cache and /data with two separate file browsers and couldn't get it. Sorry. Its good to know that update is still being pushed. I thought they may have put it on hold.

I just posted the updater script from the update for you!
Well.... I still think it should work cuz the script says it has to work with a device with a device id of "obake" which is same for Maxx and Ultra and AFIK both have the same build fingerprints..... Anyways the worst thing that could happen is it might not flash at all!! :good:

The update.zip works across all of the 2013 Droid lineup. I've personally used the Maxx update on a Mini, and others have used it on their Ultra.

2.6.3.5 was made by another dev on this thread. I believe he worked with Dev Troy putting it together. I have used it for a couple of months and it works great. However its not official or supported for further development at this time.

I'm running pa_d801-4.0-BETA6-20140218 right now and using TWRP 2.6.3.5... works fine. Also PhilZ Touch CWM recovery work fine for PA as well.

Just tried that one and it doesn't support USB-OTG. This 2.6.3.4 does and features an added bonus of adjustable screen brightness. It can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2469995
