Hi. What are the dial codes for hidden service menus on the Nexus 5? Have they already been discovered? I tried some I found on the web but they didn't work.

It appears to do nothing.
It (4636/info) presents you with info about certain features.

This seems to be the only working. But were are all the others?
This thread is pretty useless if people post a code without saying the code's function.
Try *#*#EMAIL#*#* - this adds a debug menu temporarily to the email settings

Thanks for your comment
I don't seem to find any info about the application.
Could you explain me how this works?
What about costs etc., does the forwarding phone pay for the messages or are they sent over an internet connection?
Hi all....I love this phone, the best I've had so far. I am on Cataclysm but want to get rid of all the Google stuff and other Bloat. I understand that installing an AOSP Rom is the best way to go about achieving this. However, I am totally inexperienced at flashing and using AOSP Roms and need some experienced input about this. Which AOSP Rom is the most stable and reliable for this device? My main concerns are a good and constant data signal, stable wifi / wifi tether and easy upgrades and strong development community. I know thats a lot to ask of any Rom but thats what I need. Thank you for any input....

Stay away from aosp. Most stable and aosp never go together, its continually under development.

That's a sweeping generalisation and inaccurate statement.
OP must make his own decision on what is stable for his use

OP, there is no such thing as BEST. They are all BEST as you can see by the loyal members using each. Just read through the threads, make a backup and flash away and decide what is BEST for YOU.

Hi guys !
Just a quick question as I will be receiving my N5 fairly soon I wanted to know what is the best kernel for this phone or at least for my use which is not that intensive but battery life is always a plus and I have to say the tap2unlock is really appealing.
Thanks !
Try them and decide. I like Franco but everyone's needs are different

Okay, sorry guys, silly me:silly:, forgot about that, I'm actually in a lot of different forums and I sometimes forget some of the rules.
I'll try them and see for myself, feel free to delete this thread, and again, sorry.
As everyone has pointed out these threads are not allowed on XDA as highlited in my post stickied at the top of the section.
wedgess said:
Looking for the best ROM or Kernel? The fastest ROM or Kernel? Head over to the development section and try a few for yourself. We do not allow threads asking about the best/fastest ROM/Kernel at XDA. Please do not create threads comparing ROMs or Kernels. Any of these threads created no matter how they are titled will be closed.
Thanks!

Hi,
I have this issue with Huawei 6 Plus default messaging app.
Some SMS i receive from different numbers appear in the same thread. For example i have some SMS from different Banks, they appear in one thread. Similarly i have SMS from different carriers, appear in one thread. This happens to only non-numbered SMS senders, like banks etc. Regular Contacts are fine. I Tried 3rd party apps, but still i get multiple sms in same threads
I am also facing same issue. Did you find any solution to it?

No. Not yet. Very annoying. Waiting for stable lollipop update and expecting to fix it

In your default messaging app, go to settings, then in general tab(the first tab), uncheck/turnoff the first option (Archive info messages).
Hope it helps. Good luck.

Would've been great of those who used the codes had said which one they used.
EDIT:
though, I don't plan on rooting, so this is no good to me!
I also would like to test it i am rooted

All codes has already been redeemed. I would love to test, I am on stock rooted.
I'd love to try it out as well.
I love to try this app too
Lot of people asking about the apk here, and just wanted to make sure people know that this is basically just editing/adding in text to the others.xml file under /system/csc. If you want any of these tweaks you can add them yourself.
Friend, bought the app , but it did not work at 930F root stock . He says it is not compatible with the device.
