Considering you're adding build.prop tweaks, you might want to take a look at this and this and maybe double check some of the tweaks you're adding to see if they really do anything and/or if you just copied them from another forum, or as the author of those articles puts it:
This underscores the dangers of Google search and forums where tweaks get copied over and over again when they actually stopped working a long time ago.

Also, don't know if this is still true, but on CM10 Quarx has stated that enabling Purgeable Assets causes lags, which by the way, you added twice in your list. Not trying to diminish your work, glad to see someone else contributing, just making sure you actually know what your tweaks are doing in case someone has problems and needs your help fixing things.

It's true this is the case for CM10 Quarx, but TS already mentioned this tweak is for CM11 only. Purging assets is enabled by default on Quarx' 4.4 AOSP/CM11 ROM, if I'm not mistaken.
@hugo.gabriel999 Just curious. Are these tweaks based on V6 Supercharge scripts of XDA dev Zeppelinroxx? Keep up the good work! Glad to see our good-old Defy is still maintained well by our XDA devs.

It's not enabled by default on CM11, at least not on the last ROM I flashed, nor on any other Quarx based ROM.

You could be right of course, but I see no mentioning of disabling purging assets in the CM11 thread of Quarx, only in CM10. Did you flash the nightly rom with full wipe or just Cache\Dalvik cache wipe. In the later case your own settings will be kept.

I never flash anything without wiping everything; I never see even half of the bugs other people do...

Same here but on nightlties of the same rom its ok to just wipe cache/dalvik. Must have fiddled with it. Could;'nt find in other Quarx' topics that it could be enabled again. So, purgin assets should be disabled. My Defy still flies with looooong battery life.

is there any way i can revert back to original dpi?
edit: i have managed to figure it out using Google n from another forum topic.

[ROM][SM-G900F] JoelDroid S5 [V 2.6.1 XXU1BOD3][Temporarily Discontinued]

Development Temporarily Discontinued
I'm sad to say that I will be discontinuing the development of JoelDroid S5.
The main reason is, that I have become bit more preoccupied with my personal life and priorities.
The second reason is that I have switched back to Kitkat (XXU1ANJ1), just couldn't stand the Lollipop colors and white background and the lack of Xposed framework. Since I wont be updating my device back to Lollipop there is no point me just putting up releases without testing.
but mainly I have more personal commitments and less time to develop these.
I had a wonderful time here in this thread, and thanks for all the feedback and kind words.
[UPDATE] I will be back when Stock 5.1.1 is available for Galaxy S5

Your phone needs to be rooted and should have a custom recovery
As far as recoveries go, I highly recommend TWRP use the following link to get the latest TWRP for S5 and use it with the above method.
Take a Nandroid backup, better be safe than sorry.
Take an EFS Backup using wanam's EFS Backup App
Copy your EFS backup for safe keeping.
Copy ROM to sd-card and boot to recovery and flash, after flashing DO NOT reboot, but power off.
Press vol down + home + power and reboot into download mode and install the provided bootloader and modem, flashing the modem is optional but your current modem has to be a lollipop modem or else you wont get a signal. But flashing the given bootloader IS A MUST, without the necessary bootloader the ROM will not boot, see post #4 for detailed Odin flash instructions.

less, as I said all features built in by samsung works, only their services and unwanted apps are removed. I will post a detailed removed apps list but today im sleepy and tired. I will include this tomorrow

I have included a list of removed apps. I'm stuck with some work. I will upload an aroma installer to install whatever removed.
For the list of removed items please see the 1st post.
Also as of now there will be no mods, and whatever mods you need to install xposed framework. I'm not wasting my time as this is the initial release. But when Lollipop comes our way (hopefully in December) there will be lots of Mods and tweaks as Xposed will take some time to materialize.

Some of you already knows me from my first KitKat ROM for the G901F. Here is the so waited Lollipop version !
I like simple things so the choice of the rom itself was really easy
By simple, I means definitely close to stock, but with some slight optimizations in term of battery and performances.
I precise that I’am not a fan of much tweaking/customizing, so that’s why this rom will never be a real “custom rom” to my eyes.
I decided to make this ROM because it seems that G901F is really missing devs here.

im coming from SimpleGX kitkat all latest version also kernel and change modem.
Downloaded Lollypop, reboot phone in recovery and flashed the rom.
now it stays at the samsung logo. (is this also notice as a bootloop)????
anyone got a solution????

You will need to flash THIS exact firmware via odin before flashing my rom.
I decided to make my base from latest available 5.0.2 which is the Greece one currently :good:
Some of you maybe already have the 5.0.2 Nordic or other ones, but may face bootloop issue also, so you guys can test and report :good:
Coming from SimpleGX ROM KitKat version will result bootloop (and of course, even if flashing kitkat firmware via odin first, since 5.0.2 and 4.4.4 are both different versions of android) :good:

I installed Xpossed Alpha2 and the framework zips with this rom, but it stiĺ "hangs" in the bootscreen! I need Xpossed for my other apps. Great Lollipop Rom BTW! ?

CLEAN FLASH:
-Before install ROM package if you're currently use STOCK ROM/CM11/CM12.1, make sure to wipe data/factory reset; if possible then do a internal sd format first, else you'll get error.

Q1.How is it different from Sandpox build?
Ans:-It has some changes for better optimizations ,to fix random reboots.
Q2: So how to use/change filysystem to f2fs?
Ans :-
• Download and Flash f2fs supported recovery from #1 main thread.
• Boot into Recovery
• Data: Wipe > Advanced Wipe > Data > Repair or Change File System > Change File System > F2FS
• Cache: Wipe > Advanced Wipe > Cache > Repair or Change File System > Change File System > F2FS
• Flash the latest ROM with f2fs supported.
#Note: Don't try changing filesystem of /system partition.
Tips:
* On first boot, or after rebooting device,turn your screen off, and left it for 2-3 mins to settle it down. After that use it,for better performance.
* Go to Battery>Performance Profiles and change it to Performance. I have made it battery friendly with good perf. I won't recommend any third party app like Kernel Adiutor with it.
* In developer option, change animator,window and transition scale to 0.6 or less than it. (No need to completely disable it).

@present gapps is not compatible, some force closes,it's alpha release, still most stuffs are working like RIL,WiFi. Expect this issue to be fixed in next build or maybe after that next build.

gapps are crashing. Is it the same problem that tamesak rom earlier had? Will I be unable to connect the phone to my google account for now?

Apologize to all. Next build will have RIL working,as something is breaking/crashing RIL,tried single Sim, it works fine but in dual sim some issues are there. Expect next build have fix this issue.
