We are fishing for app ideas? Ask 10 things everyone hates about the most 10 most popular apps and fix a few things from each list in an app. You have to understand the synergy of the items you are trying to fix to ensure they fit within your own app but then people will flock to it.

Command and conquer or the old PC style Warcraft, ad free of course. Maybe a good flight simulator.

Xplane is a good slight simulator.

+1 to the old school Warcraft...i'd personally like Warcraft II (more polished, more levels, more units, more awesome).
Best old school strategy game ever!!!

A slightly off-topic question here... How do you guys go about developing Android apps? What all languages and skills do I need to know/possess?

I believe Android apps use Java or a Java-like programming language. Google has help available to help budding programmers to develop apps

It is basically the same game with some new cars, tracks, and features. They prompt you to pay for advantages (like speed boost) and things like that, paid for by in game cash, which can be earned through playing or using IAP to get ahead. As for how it runs, when theres no cars on screen its smooth, but once I caught some it got jerky. Controls work great and I hadn't rebooted my phone for a while, but it just doesn't run all that great. Will keep trying.

Well, 99c (USA) is not bad at all even if it is just an advanced remake. I'm downloading now xD. Thanks for this useful post.

Downloaded it at work. Got a sick connection at the studio! This game is definitely better than Asphalt 6. It's a lot more polished, the tracks have been well thought out and overall there's just a lot more variety. They've even squeezed in an homage to the Fast Five 'Rio' track. For anyone who has increased their ram and over-clocked their cpu sufficiently the game will run like butter

That`s the additional data which is stored on the SD card, not internal.

OK that makes sense. Every other game has the internal memory consumption in the description though. So i got confused.

bought and played 3 races.
Controls work great , i like the dpad way more than the touch pads for this game.
Game has no "ram" lag whatsoever , framerate isnt 60fps and it does occasionally drop , but never to the point where it renders the game unplayable.
Overall i think it runs great

Then that is a real WOW! Thought I was impressed with Fast Five already... can't wait for this to pop in the wapshop!

Z-Car Racing

I just realised that the above game works with the PLAY gamepad. I used to set up GameKeyboard every time I changed ROMs and now I don't have to.

It's only one lap of one course but it's pretty addictive. I've got the best times ever and I need a bit competition to make it even better. I know I can do at least a second better...

Hello fellows. I'm the dev of this game. Don't let rough outlook prevent you on trying it out. btw. I have plans to hire one friend to draw some tracks. Congrats to Milky Joe for the good laptimes, even I find it hard to beat those.

If Asphalt 7 is...
Then EA must make it for Play too.
(cuz they would lose many players)

OMG this will be so great

I have hope too cause if they'll optimize NFS, then it's nearly 100% sure that FIFA 13 will be too. I wouldn't have some hopes if their Mass Effect would be for Play. But it isn't....

No matter for me if it's optimized for XPlay, I'LL BUY IT YES OR... YES!!!

I can give you a little spoiler : It will be optimized and it's graphics are pretty good on the Xplay, only that it will not benefit from the advanced lighting effects and reflections.

Note 10.1 Games Thread

Hi all
Loving my new Note, best money I've spent in a while but there is one problem:
Games suck.
Not the performance of them, that's off the charts, I mean the selection we have for it. Most apps and games are designed for smaller screens (like my Desire HD) and look great on them. But when I play them on my Note they simply suck. They look stretched and blocky and ruin the point of the Note's rather impressive screen.
So I created this thread to help everyone recommend games and discuss them.

You should first have posted this is in Q&A and also searched.
Anyways some good games Fifa12, NFS latest version, Asphalt, Batman, Spiderman
Wild Blood, though it will show incompatible on Google Play and so on

I did search on Google but as usual the spammy stuff came up, which never helps
I realised I had posted in the wrongoing section just as I hit submit thread.

I purchased the new nfs but it stats to load and goes black then back to home screen anyone else have this issue? I've re downloaded twice now and sane thing.
Oh and the update or whatever goes through just fine in initial start its after that.

Well in a way if I am using a game you have purchased is the same way as I am using a game from a warez site both are rip offs not purchased by me but used by me on my device.

your thread is fine here IMO, dont mind the other guy, he thinks he owns this section of the forum or somthing like that.
Anyway, just look the tablet section of Google Play, you should find games and apps designed for your tablet.

This forum is called general forum and general meaning anything generally involving the galaxy note 10.1 which includes games.
So if he wants to post a topic about games really up to him.

So can explain why do we have a section called Q&A and he was not posting something on games but asking a question

Good games I've got on my note are Dark Knight Rises, Nfs most wanted, order and chaos online,real football 2013, gta 3 and nova 3
Best is the n64oid and fpse as can plug a playstation controller into my otg cable and play mario and tekken 3
I bought them with my galaxy s3 and moved the apps over to my note and they work great and fill the screen perfectly

Temple Run & Temple Run Brave
Grabatron
Sleepwalkers Journey
All of the Angry Birds games (HD versions aren't free, but good for tablet)
Fruit Ninja HD (fun but not necessary)
Samurai Vengeance
the Sonic Games
Dragon Fly!
Those come to mind
