Hi all
Loving my new Note, best money I've spent in a while but there is one problem:
Games suck.
Not the performance of them, that's off the charts, I mean the selection we have for it. Most apps and games are designed for smaller screens (like my Desire HD) and look great on them. But when I play them on my Note they simply suck. They look stretched and blocky and ruin the point of the Note's rather impressive screen.
So I created this thread to help everyone recommend games and discuss them.
You should first have posted this is in Q&A and also searched.
Anyways some good games Fifa12, NFS latest version, Asphalt, Batman, Spiderman
Wild Blood, though it will show incompatible on Google Play and so on
I did search on Google but as usual the spammy stuff came up, which never helps
I realised I had posted in the wrongoing section just as I hit submit thread.

My favourite games : NFS mosf wanted,fifa 12,temple run,real racing 2,angry bird,Gta4,spider man .. All of these is fit the screen

I purchased the new nfs but it stats to load and goes black then back to home screen anyone else have this issue? I've re downloaded twice now and sane thing.
Oh and the update or whatever goes through just fine in initial start its after that.

In what way?
Well in a way if I am using a game you have purchased is the same way as I am using a game from a warez site both are rip offs not purchased by me but used by me on my device.

your thread is fine here IMO, dont mind the other guy, he thinks he owns this section of the forum or somthing like that.
Anyway, just look the tablet section of Google Play, you should find games and apps designed for your tablet.
Dude I wished I owned XDA I would be a rich guy, but if asking to post a question in QandA section makes you think that I own this thread then god bless you that all I can say, may be next thing you should asked admin to i have single section as according to you all of them make no sense. anyways thats your point of view which I cant change nor do I give a damn about it

This forum is called general forum and general meaning anything generally involving the galaxy note 10.1 which includes games.
So if he wants to post a topic about games really up to him.

Good games I've got on my note are Dark Knight Rises, Nfs most wanted, order and chaos online,real football 2013, gta 3 and nova 3
Best is the n64oid and fpse as can plug a playstation controller into my otg cable and play mario and tekken 3
I bought them with my galaxy s3 and moved the apps over to my note and they work great and fill the screen perfectly

These all look fantastic and are fun to play. And the gameplay is very very smooth on Note 10.1.

Grabatron
Sleepwalkers Journey
All of the Angry Birds games (HD versions aren't free, but good for tablet)
Fruit Ninja HD (fun but not necessary)

the Sonic Games
Dragon Fly!

Looks pretty cool, also looks like it is XP exclusive....I may buy it..after I finish DH 2 that is.

Bought this yesterday, it is awesome. THe touchpads works so well and the graphics are bright and crisp and clean. Sat down to play it for a couple minutes, 45 minutes later I was like" oh crap". Really a fun game. And I cannot stress how nice the touchapds work, THe dev did a seriouslt good job with the programming for touchpads. I prefer this to Dungeon Hunter series.....

Mine is in English, did you get our from the PLAY store? I am aware there is another version for all android phones but its in Korean.

Not going to comment on the warez part, the game itself is 1.99 on the PLAY store and in my opinion is totally worth it. And not that its a big deal but currently this game is Xperia PLAY exclusive on the market. You want english and Xperia support I highly recommend supporting the developer of the game and buying it, it really is a fun game and @ 1.99 is a steal already (you see that....pun..)

Not currently, but I believe I read somewhere that they will add it in later, dont know if its local or online..

Do you think you can do a gameplay video for it? I just want to see it physically running before I buy it. As it is I may buy it anyways, just want to be sure because I only have 6.85 on my prepaid card atm..and was thinking of getting an.rcon app for my admin duties for my gaming clan.

I do have the screencast app, I can use that to record what I am playing. But be advised that the screencast app makes anything you do on the phone look al ittle laggy. Trust me this game flies.... and with nice graphics to boot. IF people really want to see it let me know and I can do a quick video of it and post a link here. If others have played it please post your thoughts on it as well.
The game boots really fast. Surprisingly I didnt see any lag considering the high graphic and effects etc even if your phone is OC or not.
Imo the only missing feature right now is multiplayer.

I agree. Multiplayer would be awesome and is the only thing missing..
So i went back to gingerbread today and I have to say this is one of the best games to come out for some time. I was wondering why i was getting lag spikes and it installed on my sd, moved to phone,no lag at all and it only has a 1.3mb size!

As much as it is appreciated that you ate trying to help, you are still instructing to pirate.
A better way would be a hack to make the game "compatible" on the Play Store. Then buying it. Unfortunately, your method is against XDA. So its best to remove it

Keep in mind that:
1. This is a pirated version, most likely incomplete.
2. This is being played on ICS.
3. This is being recorded by screencast.
So when the official version comes out, and you play it on GB, it should be a LOT better.

If you're right, it's still the screencast application, which is labeled the game, because if I run the graphics excellent with 50%, and without overclock!

On my Xperia Play (Doomkernel, NTX Xperia 2.3.7,- CPU 1.5 + Chainfire reduce quality to 16bit) this game working perfect, without laggs, 70% graphics, Modern Combat 4 too

Working brilliantly on JB (slimbean) maybe a little lag but once i reduced the draw distance it was good
uh, i mean this is what i think i haven't tested it yet as that would be wrong :S
any way yh, i will defintely buy it when its out and prob won't even play it until it is out as i only played it to test how well it worked

XDA is a mobile development site, not a PC games site. That's what Google is for.
Also, you might want to read the XDA rules as cross-posting is one of the things listed to not do.

Personally I'd say as far as games go my favorite are Robot Unicorn Attack 2 and Flow, as they are both easy to pick up and put down.
For game, I love Clash of Clans.
For App, it would be supersu + root explorer
