How about some more details??? No one can help without them. What device ( P500, P505, etc... )? Did you install a custom ROM? If so, what ROM? Another good starting point would be the LG Optimus One FAQ
p500 and i am not using custom rom, orignal one gingerbread. 2.3 .

After changing the rom from stock to custom rom of my lg optimus 3d my phone dosent read sim.
I was using gingerbred 2.3.5 then i change to ThiZo3d rom when i install it every thing was working fine but there was no network. In Lockscreen No sim card insert also in the notification bar there was X logo in network.
I also make backup of my stockrom but there was no signal and also make a factory reset too plz help i might miss something its my first time of changing to custom rom plz help.

thats too much harder can you please tell me i have return to my stock rom (2.3.5) what should i do to get sim working i only need sim working. Well im iphone user thats why im little nobish for andriod so my friend told me of some thing to use your IME then you will get sim working Well i can see ime after *#*#06#*#*

go back to thiaiz and install the proper kernel. this works fine for me. im a p925g guy, and i had similar issues. it's not the end of the world

to those who used this procedure to install ics on htc raider (bell/rogers in canada) from this forum http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1612685 , i was wondering if you guys can help me. i saw a couple of post from here that they were successful installing the ROM (i think one was from bell, and the other rogers); i do have to say this procedure works. i was able to install both said ruu's successfully, but with one slight problem - i cant browse the internet using my data for some reason, even if my mobile network says its ON
i could however receive incoming call or make outgoing call; but for some reason i cant use my data to browse the net ...
did anyone of u guys initially experience this? if so, can u guys help me what to do...

i believe its an official ics rom as both of them are at&t ruu files from the state...
after i installed it and when it rebooted, instead of showing rogers logo, it showed at&t.
all the apps are pretty much based on at&t and all my rogers app are gone... :/

I have recently reactivated my LG Optimus T P509 Android, but it will not connect to my carrier's network. It recognizes my APN's but will not connect. Is there a way to solve this without getting the stock rom? If not, can someone send me the stock rom? Thank you.
[EDIT] I have now gotten into the original stock rom without it being rooted anymore. It still recognizes my APN's but will still not connect with the network carrier/operator. Any help?

Call t mobile, tell them what is happening and they should give you the codes to input to make it work. That's what I did when I had the same problem. Hope that helps!

Ok so here is what happened i have a rooted g2x i have tried to install all the roms especially ice cream sandwich. when ever i try to flash a rom on this particular device everything works except receiving text messages. SO i have a second g2x (rooted) and i flashed the rom and everything works fine on the second device. so can somebody tell me how to fix this problem for the first device, by the way my first device is a replacement from tmobile because when i bought one it wasn't working so they gave me a new one also i flashed roms on it and it was working fine but the replacement device is not working. any help is appreciated.(can someone tell me how to delete post on the forum) . i am running the latest baseband and android 2.3.4. v21y

If youre not recieving texts, but the other one is, it could be a problem with the phone itself. and if youre running stock software, it makes me think its even further towards the hardware side, although it might not be. I suggest also trying out a different rom, or getting it replaced. and to delete a post, you need a moderator to delete a post. PM one of the G2x mods with a link to the post to get it removed.
If it's only text that you are having trouble with, try switching the SIM cards. Maybe it is SIM related or carrier related issue tied to the particular number. If the SIM from the other phone works, the nothing wrong with the phone or ROMs.

is there any other way to fix it without getting it replaced.
My friend as a lgp500 runnin android 4.1.2 cyanogenmod10 with kernel version 2.6.35.10and baseband LGP500AT-00-V20g
The problem is that he cannot recieve calls.If anyone tries to call him its says user is busy but he can send sms..call people..use internet and everything.He is able to recieve calls in that number if he uses the sim in any other phones.
Is there anyway to fix it??
I saw an app that can do this thing (can't remember witch one) on an SGS3, you can call but if you are called you phone refusses calls

The rom most likely needs to be trimmed, i had this same problem.I couldnt call out or text at all but i could receive calls, also my home button didnt work. The rom is too big for the phone so it breaks a few things.
