[q] htc sensation xe problem ?

Hi
I have a massive problem and need help please. I have a brand new htc sensation xe. I wanted to root the phone so firstly unlocked the bootloader from the htc website. I then used super one click to gain root access. Then using rom manger premium I tryed installed LeeDroid. Once installed i tryed booting the phone after the htc logo scrren the phone would resatrt. I then installed Dark Forset+sensation rom. What happened this time was the htc logo would continuosly display so i have to pull the battery out to restart the phone. ONE THING I REALISED WAS THAT MY PHONE DISPLAYS S-ON . What can i do please help ?

It helped me a lot to safely root my Sensation XE.
I use ClockworkMod Recovery 5.0.0.8, its fast and easy to operate.

flash any rom ant flash boot.img manually.... fastboot flash boot boot.img

[SOLVED] I think i have f***** up my phone

Hei folkens!
Sins the ICS came out i wanted it and did my attempt. I HTCDev unlocket the phone, installed a recovery thing. I then downloaded and added ICS to my SD Card and flashed it. The install did go flawless until i where gonna reboot. It was stuck on this white screen with the logo HTC. So i have now tried with diffrent other ROM's and the same thing happening all over again. Have i f*********** up???? Or can i fix this ****??
Some info:
Hboot: 2,00,0002
What i had: 2.3.5
Recovery: ClockworkMOD v5.8.1.5

If you are htcdev unlocked, you have to flash boot.img separately. Are you S-On ? Post all info from your bootloader.

Flashed the ICS again, then i added the boot.img in fastboot mode, I'm now in ICS

if you have flashed a rom then you have 2 options:
1)flash the boot.img of the rom manually or
2)install 4ext recovery(if you don't have it already)enable smartflash from it and then flash the rom again

i have tried that, i even installed ordroid v9.0.0 but it still does not enable, anything else you could suggest?

Junopunutbear screen are again present. I instal MIUIv5 with MIUI ION r54 kernel but get the SIM problem and android.phone issue.
Try to install other Rom, but always a bootloop at Rom start screen.
I'm tired by all methods, i'm lost....

How flash it ? 4ext is only installed on phone when running an OS... Can install with fastboot ?
Just checked firmware version :3.24.401.1.... go and update to 3.33 ?

and yes you may to flash 3.33 firmware read the thread carefull here is link and check the md5 sum before flashing 3.33 universal firmware http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1459767

If Junopnutbear icon is present on every startup then it means S-OFF is not succesfuuly completed .
Can you post a pic ?

I'm just comming from install 3.33 software.
No jonutubear are replaced by -firmware-3.33- .
Trying to install MIUI V5 now

did you changed your recovery? with CWM you will experiance bootloop

making vedrad
fixed now, MIUI v5 working but no contact SIM card possible ( this is and other thread)
4ext is better CWM as i say .

[Q] HTC Sensation didn't boot after flashing firmware

I wanted to flash from ViperS 5.2.1 ROM to Vipers 5.3.0 on my rooted and S-OFF Sensation, so here's what I've done:
-saved on my SD the zip for firmware (got from here htc.vi8.info/FirmWare-3.33/PG58IMG.zip), the one for the ROM (htc.vi8.info/ViperS/ViperS_C2_5.3.0.zip) and also the one of the Kernel (Overclocked_kernel_v1.5.2_by_SebastianFM.zip).
-had a backup with titanium backup
-reeboted on recovery and had a Nandroid backup and then rebooted.
-rebooted on bootloader where it found the PG58IMG.zip and started to update it. Before doing this I had
-Firmware-3.33-

It started to update everything and asked me to reboot at the end, but when I did that I got stuck in the black screen with white SENSATION -and nothing more, so I had to take the battery off.
I've taken out the PG58IMG.zip file from the SD, so I've gone to Recovery and at least I've restored the Nandroid backup.
What was the problem?
With the restoring I've gone back to Boot 1.27 instead of 1.29 and in the phone, in Build number, I have 3.19.401.101 CL157254 release-keys.
What can I do for flashing the firmware, the ROM and the Kernel?

changing hboot version(firmware) it was unnecessary
besides that you returned to the official one
nevermind
just flash from recovery the vipers rom
you don't need anything else
also overclocked kernel is only for ics sense based roms
vipers rom is jelly bean sense based rom

When rebooting it stops again on the black screen with white SENSATION on it.
Again seems that the only way is restoring the Nandroid backup...
Any idea about what I should do?

@rzr86 gave the reason why... Do not flash that kernel, its for ICS sense roms ONLY. ViperS is Sense JB
