its a whole nother update, you will need to flash it like your flashing another rom. if you where to want to go from CM 10 to CM 10.1/10.2 you can just only flash that on top of yours.

You have to flash Cyanogenmod 11

Thanks a lot for the info.
Just got one more question.
Is this right I install Cwm recovery
Make a backup of current rom
Wipe phone to factory
Wipe dalvic and cache
Then flash new rom
I am currently using twrp v2.6.3.0
Witch is easy for me to use but have read
That I need to overwrite with Cwm is this correct thanks again.

Just trying to get as much info as possible so I don't end up using my phone as a paperweight

its always good to ask questions, you dont need to install CWM, its just a different custom recovery twrp should be fine as long as it makes backups, i dont know if it does because i use CWM. now if its able to to backups, make one and to be sure copy it off your phone and put it on your desktop just in case. if you know how to do md5sum checks i would do it on the backup to make sure its not corrupt. then in your custom recovery (Twrp or CWM) your going to wipe data ( factory reset) Wipe dalvic and cache then flash the ROM then the Gapps for the version of android you want to install. now CM 11 isn't stable yet so i would not recommend flashing the nightlies yet. i heard that twrp v2.6.3.0 is broken right now, maybe you should switch to CWM for now.

CyanogenMod is great neve had a problem with their roms, looking forward to trying 4.4 whenever they mod it.

Now available cyanogenmod 11 4.4, I have tried many of which there are so far:
Temasek prefer rom, It's a wonderful rom in my opinion , has already left the cyanogenmod 11 official but this surpasses honestly expected much more from the official , thanks to Temasek for their great work , I love especially those who use the navigation bar and physical buttons no longer use that has an option to disable and remove the brightness errors found: I tried the art and many applications use only one backup titanium probe fails if only one version may work with another , in a version WeChat previous rom worked smoothly , now two options fail the application ( find people nearby and shake option ) that eventually was resolved as add improvements to what already works , from here to my mood and the great work done by , to which the button on the navigation bar to go back it does not work so I step in one of the facilities v16 Temasek and simply rebooting worked. sorry for having so widespread and greeting everyone .

lets hope cm 11

I installed the experimental last night. No issues, everything worked normally. 1.2ghz was the max clock speed which was the only real difference I noticed from the Bruce KANG.
I will probably switch to the nightlies once they start coming out... well, nightly. I see no update today.

Yeah i am still skeptical as to whether this is actually a nighly as i have never seen nightly builds of any device running with an 'EXPERIMENTAL' tag. I think it was just one test build to test the water, if all goes well the nightly build bot should be started.
I'm running this with the sultan kernel.
So far so good.

hi,
i've installed it today and tested a few things...
phone, data, wlan, gps seems to work...no fc's and so on for now. feels exactly the same as bruce's rom.
only thing i've found yet is, that chrome has graphical glitches like the bruce-rom.
i will keep it and tell you my further experiences...

[ROM] AOSP/Code Aurora Vanilla Android 4.4.2 for Moto G

AOSP/Code Aurora Vanilla Android 4.4.2 for Moto G
This build is based on sources directly from Code Aurora which is AOSP plus all Qualcomm specific enhancements and optimization.
Build instructions can be found here: https://github.com/razrqcom-dev-team/android_local_razrqcom/tree/aosp-caf-8226
Device tree is here https://github.com/dhacker29/android_device_motorola_falcon
This build has been optimized to be a one build for all variants (xt1032, xt1033, xt1034 and cdma as well should work).
I accomplished this through a little magic in the init.mmi.rc to set ro.hw.radio based on the ro.boot.radio value, from there I use init.mmi.radio.sh to set the appropriate build.prop values based on the radio detected to be stock for the device.
Known Issues: Canera does not work
Download: Latest Downloads HERE
Gapps: http://d-h.st/eWW
ClockWork Mod Recovery for 4.4 bootloader: CWM6046-MotoG44.img
TWRP 2.6.3.1 for 4.4 bootloader: TWRP2631_MotoG44.img Touch is fixed for the most part but occasional reset to main screen. I am working with Dees Troy to get a fix.
xt1033 needs the 4.4.2 modem to work with this rom
Recovery flashable 4.4.2 modem: MotoG_4.4.2_modem.zip
If you wish to return to stock via back up and not fastboot here is a flashable 4.3 radio for xt1033
Recovery flashable 4.3 modem for xt1033 MotoG_4.3_xt1033_modem.zip
Remember this is a AOSP stock android build so if you want root you need to flash the Super{User/SU} of your choice.
Also, There is no gapps backup script so they need to be reflashed with each update.

New build up fixed the phone fc and in call audio. Still only one sim working on dual sim versions for now.

Wifi stops working when you change the kernel coming with cm11 by installing an other one manually or by using romswitcher.
To fix u actually have to use cm11 kernel (by reinstalling cm11 rom) or get back to the unofficial release which doesn't depend on cm11 kernel.

Any ideas?
I have this placed on the internal sdcard. Mokee 4.4.2 flashes just fine as did @Android-Andi CM 10.2.
Only saying. Other stock 4.2.2 Roms have multi window. Just thought I'd give the idea to put it in if the Dev so desired

I got it to work! If you're using the 6.0.4.7 recovery it won't flash you need to download an older recovery. Search development thread for 6.0.3.3 (I think it's shakatu) do all the wipes. It will ask to disable stock recovery, obviously don't. Boot it up!

INSTRUCTIONS TO INSTALLATION1) You need to have Samsung 4.3 Bootloader or newer. MJ5 firmware Bootloader is recommended for those who wish to avoid knox counter. If you don't have, see here:http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2205009 (under SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR 3.6 AND ABOVE) or http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2500823. Please use latest KitKat Bootloader if you wish to be able to plug your phone while turn off.
2) Make sure you have the latest TWRP/CWM recovery installed. TWRP recovery is recommended.(Linked: TWRP thread
3) Next, remember to backup your app and your efs folder. That's something that you always should do before flashing anything
4) Go to TWRP/CWM recovery via pressing home + power + volume up button at the same time.
5) Make a nandroid backup if you haven't done so.
6) Use the "Clean to install a new rom" option in Wipe Data and system.(clean installation recommended)
7) (Reminder) Remember that everything you flash you do it at your own risk so do your research before flashing anyhting.
8) Now go to choose to install the rom zip file.
9) Flash the rom. It should take less than 10 minutes till it boots.
10) Now flash gapps and root which can be found in the download link below!
