I've looked everywhere in the settings, and I just can't find anywhere to enable this setting... Is there a mod I can flash for this out there somewhere?

Check out an app called 'Screen Rotation Control' in the play store. I was using it on my S3. I just tested it for my Nexus 5 and it appears to work for it too as long as you have rotation enabled in the settings.
With xposed framework + gravity box you can get it.

Didn't work. Said it had set "reverse portrait", but didn't actually do anything.

Make sure you have the "Auto-rotate screen" option checked in your Display settings and try again.

It was set to auto rotate. I tried all the settings in that app; none worked.

I installed xposed framework, but I don't think it actually worked on my device. Every time I tried to load a module, it just failed and said I needed to reboot (yes, I actually tried rebooting). I'm using Franco Kernel R14, think that could have something to do with it?

Here's what I do to get the 'Screen Rotation Control' app to work on my stock N5
1. Start app
2. Select reverse portrait
3. Go into Settings ---> Display and enable 'Auto-rotate screen'
If I do things in that order, as soon as I enable 'Auto-rotate screen', the display immediately flips 180 degrees.
The best app to enable 180 degree rotation on my Samsung A3 2016 (Marshmallow Android 6.01) I have found is this one (available on the Play Store):
Rotation Control
It is free and works very well to be able to actually rotate the device in all directions. Because the headphone jack and charger is on the bottom of the phone, it is very inconvenient that Samsung blocks the 180 degree rotation completely. With this app you need to apply the following settings (see picture) and enable autostart and the problem is fixed. You can now rotate your device in any direction. You can also lock it in any direction. And it is completely free and does not demand any special permissions.

Is there a way to add data delivery onto the menu. I only have the 200 MB plan and I would like to be able to turn it off like I can the wifi, GPS, Bluetooth, and air plane mode menu. I currently have to go to the settings and select battery and data management, then data delivery and unchecked it. I tried to add the shortcut of wigit or shortcut but there was none. Thanks

you can if you use a custom launcher like launcher pro or adw. you can then set short cuts to activities.
I use zd box, they have an widget to enable/disable the apn
Yep, HiAPN works like a charm!

I use data enabler widget
I'm using droidwall also, it will help you configure your iptable ^_^ not really a firewall but it will not send out any data if you don't let it ^_^
On my old phone (Aria) I use widgetsoid to toggle my data. It worked great.
anyone here knows how to shut it?
tried the s2 method (system sound)
and tab method (can't find the setting in camera app)
I just know how to mute shutter sound
You have to root your tab. And you can change file in /system/media/audio/ui/
The file is ' Shutter.ogg '. I recommend changing name such as ' Shutter.ogg1 ' .
After changing name you should reboot your device.
But dont know how to mute auto-focusing sound.
Hey,
I found this solution on another forum.
1. Open your root directory/Data
2. If there is a file called local.prop, open it. If not, create it. (/Data/local.prop)
3. Add this line to file:
ro.camera.sound.forced=0
4. Save and reboot tab.
This also silences auto focus.

Put your tab into silence or vibrate mode, it should silence all camera sound.

Ideally yes, alas this did not work. My tab would still make sounds when the camera was used even when all volume settings were 0. I have read some anecdotes that this was built in to address voyeurism concerns.

Voyeurism concern doesn't apply to other camera app you can find in market. Some camera apps don't even give you an option to disable sound, as they are operating silently anyway.

My wife has Galaxy Tab 7.7 P6810 and I'm trying to mute the camera shutter sound, tried silent mode but no luck. Hope there's a fix or update for this even the device is not rooted.
Try muting everything. I'm not so sure but one of the controls here can mute camera sound.

you need a custom ROM for that, stock android does not allow modifying tiles. I don't know if you can modify tiles with xposed module so you can stay stock? Never used it haha.

if you're on stock, you can change them by installing xposed framework and adding the gravity box module. Here's a video showing you how to do it.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=75y8fuAUxQI
Also, note that gravity box is incompatible with the ART runtime, so it will set you back to the Dalvik runtime.

Can you confirm that the extra toggle bar doesn't interfere with notifications that include media control buttons? (Something like Amazon MP3 or Google Music, that show the current track with play/pause and skip buttons)
Normally if there's a notification "stuck" to the top then the track name will show but the buttons won't.

But, when you press the notificación the app open in the floating windows automaticaly that in pa forma example?
Pd. Sorry for my english
XHaloFloatingWindow can be configured to open the app in a floating window when you long-press the notification and open the app in normal mode when you press the notification normally. You can switch long-press / normal in the settings of the module and you can also adjust the size of the floating window

Servicely ----> Go Check it Out
I am sharing this because some of you on Lollipop may not know of it or were using greenify with xposed. Great news, this app works better, less resource intensive and you have more control.
- Screen off only option
- Custom App hit list
-Custom service hit list
-control service check intervals
- XPOSED NOT NEEDED
"If you're rooted you'll be able to select which services or apps you wanna kill automagically. The app runs a simple service every X seconds (default is 60s) and checks if those services that you've selected are alive. If they are - BOOM - good night. A small detail though, if that service or app is running on the foreground this app won't kill it. It's a small safety measure because you don't want apps that you're using to close on you."

You just install the app, it has root priveledges and it runs every minute by default, killing the app or service that you define so its not running in the background. Use this in tandem with app ops as you can disbale keep awake on all apps of your choosing. It's similar to greenify except you don't need xposed. You have to ensure you have it enabled and to set on boot

I don't know what GCM is, however it's the same concept as greenify, just doesn't require xposed.... Tinker around with the settings you may be able to get notifications
