I installed this ROM last night ,and this morning after one quick review I observed that in battery stats ,Wi-Fi was all the time on,through I disabled it.... I don't know if this have a negative impact on battery ,for now,in rest the ROM works perfectly, trough I find useful vibration settings, now the only thing we are waiting is Sd Swap !!! Thank you again Lola !

Flashed with a fear over beloved LiquidSmooth. Dirty flash. But it turned out V.V. good. This is another kinda doping rom. The feel is so pure and good.

[Q] [4.2.2]Slim Bean build 3: About install

I'm on Build 2, and for installation of Build 3, they say:
How to install SlimBean 4.2.2 build 3
For Most Users:
Download 4.2.2 from here
Addons from here
!recommended! Full wipe, and manual format /system
Flash device 4.2.2 AND the addons you want, reboot
For advanced Users:
Download 4.2.2 from here
Addons from here
wipe cache and dalvic
Flash device 4.2.2 AND the addons you want, reboot
From another 4.2.2 ROM
Reboot to recovery
Full wipe, and manual format /system
Flash ROM zip
Addons from here
Reboot
But how about the previous Build ?
For Build1 -> Build2, I didn't wipe or anything else. It went good. But I don't know if that's the proper way to do it. (I met some gmail crashes since, related ?)
(Sorry for my bad english, and for the possible wrong choice of category, I can't post in the dev section because I'm new to XDA's forums)
Thanks !:fingers-crossed:
A dirty flash should be fine since many aosp roms have an updater script. I never wipe whenever I'm coming from a previous build of the same rom. just follow the instructions for advance users. If you run into any problems then follow instructions for most users.
i would go with the " For Most Users " option as most users would be coming from build 2 or build 2.5 .. i also would recommend a full wipe , even though its not required i have found to have the best experience & fastest speed on my device by backing up and doing a full wipe so as to have a fresh install on the device.
I'd recommend a clean install because you don't want any problems after a dirty flash
Thanks for you replies !
By doing a full wipe I'll lose all my apps and their data. So if I use (my common way these days) Carbon for this, for "copying" apps and data, even if I did a full wipe, that's not a fresh and clean install at the end , isn't it ?

Just use free version of titanium backup so when u reinstall the apps the data will be put back.
Just make sure u backup the Google stuff before u wipe and flash.
Vs Nexus S4G using tapatalk2
To answer your question, restoring your data would not be considered clean, but if it works, it works.

[Q] From CM10 20130330 to CM10 20130416 ??

Hi and thanks for all the help and pre-thanks for any help on this. I am just a TAD paranoid from a previous flash.
I have been running CM10.1 20130330 and gapps 20130301 for 2 plus weeks now. It was pretty stable until I restored Talkback from my Titanium backup from the GB backup and then said, I am not blind and tried to remove it with TBU and it wouldn't install. Everything works ok with some warnings that::gmail, gaaps, email, TBU, etc have guit working, I press on and things work.
I want to flash the CM.1 20130416 and gapps 20121212.
Following http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1776129 Scott's directions for coming from JB 4.1 I would need to do a Factory reset?
CWM: Wipe Cache / Factory Reset Note: You should be fine without this step, but it is HIGHLY recommended as it makes certain all bugs are wiped clean. (Should be fine???)
Install ROM: Scroll down for downloads
Install OC kernel [Optional]: Scroll down for downloads (not using)
Install Gapps: Here (the latest for JB 4.2.1 - 12/12/12) - Working swipe! ---- Here (the latest for JB 4.1.2) - New GAPPs 10/11/2012
CWM: Wipe Cache Partition
CWM: Advanced/Wipe Dalvik Cache
Reboot
TWO questions:
1. Factry reset removes all my programs doesn't it (?) and I would need to re-install again, right? or restore from Titanium BU? or CWM Blue Restore?
2. I am reading about the nightlies and do you guys wipe everything every time or what?
I am getting the hang of it and enjoying basically a new phone and really don't want to go back to stock with this if I can avoid it.
Thanks for an awesome Forum

Since you are already having some fc issues from restoring I would recommend
1) Factory reset
2) Go to Mounts and storage
3) Format system
4) Format data
5) Format cache
6) Flash ROM, flash G-apps(either for 4.2.2 is fine)
7) Wipe dalvic
8) Reboot
Once you have done this either let playstore re-install apps, or install manually. Do NOT restore data

I will do this now, but when I go into the Advanced Menu, I am assuming CWM Blue, I only see repartition and not format. I also do not see system as an option. Am I missing something? I am searching threads for answers now. Thanks.

Strange. I've rebooted a million times, install GLTools (which killed Xboost), some themes and mods, and gsm is still working.
In your case, should wipe system, cache ,dalvik (keep data) and reflash.
Oh, do not install any framework.jar and framework-res mods.

ok, so for the statusbar icons, search in the settings and you will find a lot of options to customize the statusbar (including icons)
if you have any problems with apps, then try fixing permissions from CWM recovery.
as for the vc files, try creating a folder named "System" then another folder named "PIM" inside that "System" folder you just created, then put all your vc files there, and try again
if anything went wrong, try reinstalling the rom with full wipe (wipe the Data and cache and the system partitions, then go to your phone internal memory and remove the "Android" folder) and after installing the rom, fix permissions.
hope this helped

Can you port this rom to xperia e dual?
Great rom
o this is an old device, most ppl dont use it anymore and some still have it like me  .... I made some more screensshots for u and ppl who wants to see how does it look and what is that this rom is offering to them. I tought no one will still make roms for mirro but u suprised me a lot
So here are pics and for i can tell this rom works perfect, there are some lags from time to time ( its old device with low memory ) so dont exprect super fast brand new miro to work like iphone or some 400$ phone. It has many features and editing options in this rom (u can se from pics ) and the battery - it lasts ( thats important ), fb well u can live withoutit :fingers-crossed: ( it cous some lags ) other than that, other apps work realy good.
Smooth, fast, not bugy and interesting rom. Good job and Thanx for making this.
