Need some help with 750V ringtones. I'm still able to load MP3 songs into the ringtones library, but the "preview" won't play and I can't assign the loaded MP3 to any notification. However, with other formats (MID, AMR) everything works fine. I've already tried several SR and one HR, but no way. Any clue? Thanks!

.mp3 files have to be associated with Media Player on your device or MP3 ringtones won't work.
You're right.....in fact, I've installed Pocket Music Player. I've just tried to uninstall it, everything went back working. Now I'll keep media player for Mp3s....too bad, but I'm forced to. Thanks anyway!!!!

You can still use Pocket Music Player, just look into its settings and turn off its file associations for .mp3.
Thanks man, will do. As far as you know, is there any other program that can handle MP3s without interfering with ringtones? 'cause I don't like media player very much....thanks again.
I have basicly the same problem. I installed Pocket DivX and i played some songs there. After a while i realized thatmy Palm didnt play mp3 ringtones anymore.
I tried to Uninstall the program but it still can be openedd, i dont know what to do.
I have this weird problem with synced music if they are taken from WMP11 library and synced through my device to my storage card. But it doesn't happen if i move them from Explorer or sync them directly to the card.
The result after syncing music through my phone to the storage card is a song that contains a bit of another song in it or a lag, which is really weird because the byte size is still the same as the original.

Well,I think you cannot install and play wmp11 songs on your phone. The wmp11 songs or wma and audio/video have a different wave length, format and codecs(avi,wma,wmv,wav,mpeg,mp3,rma,quicktime..etc,etc) then the Audio/video files for phones. The audio/video files for phones are cabfiles and 3gp or .ogg format and codecs.Likewise phone audio/video files can not also be played with windows media player untill it has the right codecs installe e.g 3gp codecs.
Try to find the correct cabfile(3gp,.ogg codec format) of the song you are looking to play in your phone or download the audio/video 3gp converter and convert the desired song.
Cheers
But the thing is that they are in mp3 and they play well if i don't sync them through wmp11. My situation is not really as you thought. And btw i'm using the HTC hermes

Oh!!!
Well, than sry I'm clueless
Good luck though
I'm trying to use my Hero to "stream" video from TVersity, whenever I click on a link it tries to download it (as TVersity won't actually stream video to it), and then fails almost immediately. It works ok from my PC. I'm using videos converted to work on an iPod so the actual media should play fine (.MP4) but for some reason the system downloader doesn't want to work.
If I click on a .mp3 then the Streaming media player kicks in and downloads the file which then plays fine.
Any ideas?
With the iphone, I could add videos to my music playlist. I cannot find a similar app for my nexus one. I don't really want to keep a mp3 for my playlist AND the mp4 video of the same song. Does anyone know a fix?

Try meridian player on the market, for free, I handles videos and music playlists..unless you're looking to play videos files and music files at the same time..not sure possible!
Yeah, I mean at the same time. On the iphone, I could add a video to my music playlist. It would still play the video selected, like a song, with the screen turned off. I can't seem to find one that can do that on the nexus one.
I know MixZing and Meridian all play both music and video so you could try each to see if they work. There's a third that was on my mind but I can't remember that also plays both, maybe it was Zimly? I forgot now.
Hello
Sorry for a possibly "silly" question : I've installed Zimly and
can't find out where are stored the files, the library etc
could you please help me ?
J.
Hiya guys,
I've got two folders on my SD Card, called "Films" and "TV Shows". I'd like to keep each of the videos from each folders separate. Is there a video playing app that will let me do this?
The app I'm using at the moment is called Video Player, it just displays all of the videos in one big list - not telling me which folder each of the videos is in. I've tried a few more (Realplayer, doubleTwist), but they don't do it !
Ta very much,
Alex
hey I found a media player that maybe will work for you it calls rockplayer.
