I built it from source and with the permissions of the original source owner... and if mods feels that this shouldn't be here they can move it ! I dont want somebody to spam this thread with negative posts.. Many threads in this part of forum are based on others sources...
As per XDA Rules;
Kernels which are built with beneficial changes that are not simply pulled from other kernels already available. Some element of original work is expected.
This one has many BENEFICIAL Changes..
Bottom line: If mods feels they can move it ! Thanks..

Can you try to make new kernel jelly bean from vengeance 1.46 ,just add oc back and add cwm for xperia j???
Overclocked and tuned JB kernel for Stock Xperia J will be released, so no need to ask people who don't have this device to make it

are you sure you tested it properly?
cause' i just flashed the kernel and there is no cwm.
i tried many times but it only boots to twrp.
also once it's in twrp, the touch starts to work only after a delay of like 10 seconds. next if you leave the phone while flashing in twrp, the screen will go off..and never come back on. you have to pull the battery.(this used to happen in vengeance too)
somehow i flashed the rom by not letting the screen go off. but it's not even booting, only at the white sony logo(not boot animation).

well it did'nt work for me! il try again later!
EDIT : downloaded kernel again. flashed. no access to cwm. tried vol - and + both. everytime it goes into twrp only. and same touch issue in twrp.

I want the source code of this kernel.
Thanks,

FAQ:
1. My device rebooted or crashed, how can I help?
A: Get me /proc/last_kmsg or logcat.
2. Battery sucks, my device is not entering deep sleep. FIX PLOX!
A: Fix it yourself, it's an app waking your device up not the kernel's problem. Also make sure you let your device settle for at least 2 charging cycles. Typically apps like Facebook and Google Maps can cause problems since they wake it up pretty much all the time
3. Signal is dropping since I flashed the kernel, amg u sucks!
A: The kernel has nothing to do with gsm/cmda signal.
4. Do I need to wipe anything when flashing this kernel?
A: Just wipe cache and Dalvik cache after flashing.
5. Does this kernel has X or Y mod?
A: Learn to read, everything you need to know is in the features list, changelog or public repo.
6. Don't use 3rd party init.d scripts!!!
7. After the device boots, the phone runs at 1.35Ghz. So make sure you set it to whatever frequency you want.
8. For Daily use and best battery life, Recommended Settings are 1Ghz Max, 600Mhz Min, Conservative Governer and CFQ/SIO IO Scheduler.

As I thought its not booting on my phone. Because from my experience I learned that my phone support only 1.2 ghz max. Above that phone stuck at boot screen. Can u give me test kernel with only 1.2ghx max opp????
I am going to test it right now. Would u mind, if it is powersaver enough, if I add it to my ROM (CleanKpuRom) ?

Your device will boot now, download and flash the kernel.
Your device did not boot becuase I set startup freq to 1.35Ghz so the phone didnt have enough power to turn on.
Now you test the new uploaded kernel, it will boot and you should be fine.

I dont know wheather u have repaired the universal titanium kernel or not but on my xxkpq its not booting. I always happens whenever I use a kernel which is overclocked to 1.35 ghz. But whenever I use UC v9 1009 version kernel which is overclocked to 1.2 ghz only then my phone always boot successfully. Its something related to overclocking above 1.2ghz which my phone is not accepting.

F.A.Q's :-
1. Is this working on blah blah?
> I don't know. Do some research. Keep the disclaimer in mind.
2. OMG! My device rebooted/crashed/exploded?
> Get me the logcat.
3. Battery drains like hell. WTF?
> Not kernel problem. It's your apps that are waking up device from deep sleep. Check the wakelocks. I don't build kernels to worsen battery life. See here for more info.
4. Signal is dropping since I flashed the kernel?
> Again. Not the kernel problem. Check if you have latest ( and proper ) baseband for your device.
5. Will it root my device ?
> Yes! It will automatically root your device with latest su.
6. App FC's or something crashes?
> Try reinstalling app again. Give me logcat if problem persists.
7. Does this kernel has X or Y mod?
> Do some research. Check thread, repo, commits etc.
8. Which governors/IO-schedulers to use?

When i get home i´ll try flash just the baseband.
I already have cwm but i prefer an integrated one , it is easier than flash over a new flashed rom.

Re: [KERNEL][ICS] Vengeance [ALPHA-4][06/02/13]
Good news,
Xperia J has been overclocked to 1.3 GHz stable.
Very good my friend !!! :good: those modules work on tipo dual ?
alfa 4 boots on tipo dual but dual sim doesn't work. i tried flash baseband again and celphone doesn't boot anymore.
now i'm back to stock kernel.

EDIT: Booted no problems, but I can't DL any stressing apps as wifi isn't working, and neither is bluetooth.I have setCPU, and it shows 1000mhz.I also see you've set the minimum to 122mhz, which isnt recommended as it makes the phone lag.Set it to 245mhz, and it will have no problems.I'm gonna reflash to the stock kernel as I need GSM for now.Great job so far!
EDIT2:SetCPU has a stress test, running it now.
EDIT3:Ran it for 3 minutes, no errors.I think this is stable enough.Gonna play some games and see if it lags or whatnot
EDIT4:No lag at all, even temple run runs on best quality(both 1&2)with no lag.I don't have any others as I recently flashed gimlo(based on stock).I also love the cyan LED you've chose on boot, nice touch
I can't wait ur karnel freebug
great job bro

Hey all. I hate fancy OP's so this thread is rather simple. VK currently works on all stock based 4.2.2 ROM's.
Changelog is down somewhere. You can check it for comprehensive list of changes in each update.
Instructions:
Flash zip in recovery
Some words:
* Integrated cwm ramdisk
* Max clock speed upto 1.4 GHz (Default 1.2 GHz)
* More GPU scaling levels
- Added 128 MHz and 450 MHz (Stock is 400MHz)
* UV support through sys interface
* intelli_plug (set as default instead of mpdecison)
* Dynamic fsync
* CAF backport fixes
* Some tweaks here and there
* Stripped debugging
* init.d support
* no bull****
Don't bother asking for this as I will ignore you:
- GPU/CPU overclock
- sleep2wake
- Stupid governors/iosched
- pointless patches

@Rachit Rawat man can I just say what great work you are doing for this device and we(most people with the device) appreciate the effort though the number of people are less so might be a while before more spams occur for this thread
And I assume you have this device right?
@Rachit Rawat
Well, As far as I remember the stock kernel already had the below
*. Cleancache
*. SWAP support
*. SLUB Memory Allocator
*. ext2/3/4 support
Secondly, I don't really see the benefit of enabling ThumbEE since this execution mode is already deprecated by ARM in 2011 PLUS there is no dalvik port of ThumbEE yet
So there is nothing really using this execution environment and hence the driver is doing nothing other than increasing the kernel's memory footprint

copy it manually to /system/lib/modules ?
Thanks

Yep. But I suggest not to replace stock modules. Just add additional ones which you want to use.

I didn't know the job for each module, so I copy all from your module and paste in my system lib module but just skip for replacing..there's I think have six additional module from yours..
EDIT: very good bro, the bench score is significantly increased from 5500 at stock,now 7977
Can any one post antutu 3D scores with max frequency (1.4Ghz) ? and overclocking up to 1.4 ghz is safe?

SECONDARY BOOT ONLY !!!!
LG Optimus 3D P920 ONLY !!!!
Miui htcspain dev
** Acura2201

Threat about the Full Version (with primary boot)
Port for LG Optimus 3D is made by OptimusRS - MIUI V5 3.6.7
Kernel iBluemind modded for secondary boot by me
http://d-h.st/O5H
Rom is cleaned from more than 35 programs (Ac!d Audio and Radio Fm are not removed). After fast reboot - more than free 180MB RAM
So.... you can use the programs you like
I. Before instalation:
1. Prepare your card for CM10 ROM according to this threat
2. Take a backup of your current kernel or download appropriate one <-- IMPORTANT TO GO BACK TO MAIN ROM
3. If you already have secondary ROM - make a backup
II. Instalation:
Do NOT make any wipes !!!! DO NOT MAKE WIPES !!!! DO NOT MAKE WIPES !!!!
1. Go to Recovery
2. Install the ZIP file
3. Reboot
You go directly to the ROM2
III. Switching the ROMs:
If you want to go back to the main ROM1 - flash the kernel for ROM 1 that you prepared before installation
If you want to go again to ROM2 flash this kernel:http://d-h.st/O5H
The ROM is FAST, CLEAN, plenty of RAM, and ready for your favorite programsHave not seen FPS bug so far.
Antutu bench - more than 8000 point on 1200MHz
I am not a developer. So all credits goes to OptimusRS, Acura2201, Franlov and the people in their threads.
If you want FULL version - do not download this rom! Take the one form OptimusRS or Acura2201

I had twrp and thought it was because of it so changed to cwm, both of them give me same error.

did you had another secondary rom before you flash this one? If yes - use the recovery tools form the dual boot script 2 from this post to clean the second rom system, data and cache before you flash it.
Solved it, there must be something wrong with your updater-script, because i took the one from the original accura miui, changed it to dual boot and copied to yours, and works, by the way, good job mate.

Hiya fellas.
This is a sister project to my original (and ridiculously outdated) kernel for stock ROMs only. The version in this thread is the one designed to work with anything that isn't the stock firmware, i.e., AOSP, AospExtended, LineageOS, Resurrection Remix,... You name it. Even MIUI, which can be a b**** to get custom kernels supported on.
Features:
Sources & Optimizations
- Based on Lineage's shared falcon/peregrine/titan/thea sources
- Compiled with Linaro 4.9
- Optimized ARM RWSEM & Square Root algorithms
- Kernel-side NEON mode
- Some miscellaneous armv7 tweaks

Flashing & Tweaking Instructions (Follow this very carefully!!!):
- Place the zip at the root of your phone's internal storage
- Reboot into recovery
- Flash the zip
(Another way: Reboot into recovery without copying the zip, and flash it via adb sideload)
- Reboot again and have fun!
Coming from another kernel which isn't mine? Don't worry, no need to dirty flash the ROM/kernel anymore. The install script now does all the dirty work for you.
If you wanna "tweak ALL the things", use Kernel Adiutor! (Synapse is NOT supported!)

F.A.Q. (Read this before crying!!!!)
Q: Why did you develop this kernel?
A: Because I wanted to
Q: ERMAHGERD DIS KERNEL SUCKZ, MAH BATTERY IS DEAD IN 30 MINS, PLZ HALP!
A: When I created this kernel, I never had the intention to have it decrease battery life. So before / instead of complaining, go check your f***ing wakelocks and fix them! The kernel isn't responsible for this, your apps and/or services are.
Q: Will this kernel work on AOSP/CM12.1/CM13 ROMs?
A: Works on any ROM as long as it isn't stock . So yes, it does. AOSP, CM LineageOS, RR... Any of these.
Q: How do I report bugs?
A: If you wanna report a bug, then grab your kernel log - either by pulling /proc/last_kmsg (in case of a random reboot / kernel panic or oops) or copying the output of "dmesg" via shell - and paste it at pastie.org and link it in your post (or save it to a text file and attach it to your post). Don't bother getting logcats, they don't apply for kernel debugging purposes.
Q: How do I flash this?
A: I suggest you scroll up and read the OP. The instructions are there.
Q: How do I tweak this kernel?
A: Download Kernel Adiutor from the Play Store and have fun. No Synapse support!
Q: This kid is such a n00b!
A: Oh well then, why don't you go work on a kernel yourself, instead of criticizing my work and, by doing so, wasting your time?

Okay... Last reserved.
Our first test build is up! Link is at the OP.
It's still a very early test build and it may (and probably does) contain issues (serious or not). You've been warned.
This build should fix PowerHAL not being disabled.
Great work. Zero bugs in the short time since flashing. Thanks.

@kingkaminari Wow, finally! flashing it right now, thank you so much!
I hope to see the rest of the features present on 5.1 here on M and Thank you so much!
@kingkaminari
Will not let me change the minimum frequency of the CPU whenever I lay below 787 MHz to 5 minutes switches to the same, Tube to disable the "MPDecision" so that the frequency is not changed (sorry my english im use google traductor)

Didn't have that problem here. My phone's minimum frequency stays at 300MHz all the time. Try another governor. And don't disable mpdecision

No. Interactive has been left untouched.
If you come from Hurtsky's Hybrid Kernel or Flashhhh's Optimus Kernel, don't forget to re-enable MPDecision - just rename /system/bin/mpdecisionbak to /system/bin/mpdecision.

Try and several governors and feel the same, the only solution is to disable "MPdecision"
EDIT: The problem is when you lock the phone, no matter how infrequently the minimum of changes to 787mhz cpu and if I turn off the mpdecision not happen

I actually was having a similar problem to this not long ago but not this particular kernel.
Just fooling around I found that if I flashed any kernel after rebooting system I would have the problem you described, however if I flashed the ROM, Gapps, and kernel in recovery all together before initial boot everything works as it should.
Not sure why this is but I have experimented and it is the only solution I have found so far.
