[Q] WiFi settings for connecting to N networks - Nexus 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

My Nexus 5 running the Omni ROM is not detecting my wireless N network.
Any ideas if this is an issue with the ROM or do I need to change settings on the router?

Post your question in the question forum not the general forum. Read the stickies.

That's weird. Is there anything available on the logs on the router, if so there might be some useful information in them.
Are they all using the same network 802.11b or 802.11g or 802.11n ?
Are they all successfully authenticating to the router, assuming you have some authentication on ? If so you could, as a test, disable the authentication for a little and try that.
Have you searched for any known issues on that router ?
Just some thoughts. It's a weird one, good luck.

Hi everyone! I really need to help me with my wifi network problems.

I have a Samsung galaxy s3. In our company has wifi signal very good but IT admin had configured with WEP mode so laptops can easy connect with wifi network, but there is any mobiles can connect with wifi network. But anyone who has HtC can connect with wifi. I have a friend, he has a HtC One, when he connect with network I see in configuration has Index selection, he chose number 3 and he can connect. But in my configuration wifi doesn't has Index selection so i can't connect with network. Who can help me. Please! I don't know why?

4.4.3 5Ghz ac wifi issue

Upgrade 4.4.3 through OTA. Now I find I cannot connect 5GHz 802.11ac WiFi. I can see the WiFi ssid, but when I try to connect, it always can't. I change the router channel, but no use. My xperia z and my Mac air 2013 can do. So my router is good. Does anyone face this issue?

My N5 connects well with D-Link DIR-850L 802.11ac router (433Mbps Link Speed reported). Similar connection performance before upgrading (4.4.2).
Something not right somewhere.
I am still connected to my Netgear R7000.

Can't find Carrier specific file download

When I first got my N5, it automatically connects to AT&T LTE network, even when the LTE network has bad connection. Then someone posted a carrier specific file, that allowed my N5 to drop to 3G whenever LTE connection is bad.
I just upgraded to 4.4.3, and need to find that file again. The issue is that I forgot what keywords to search for. Can anyone help?

[Completed] Very slow internet when connected to wifis

My phone is samsung galaxy ace 3. It connects to wifi networks with no problem but i barely have internet. It is not the problem of wifi networks since they work fine with all other devices. I've been to a few private phone fixers and they mostly said it is hardware problem.
