Hi guys. Samsung Galaxy Ace, 2.3.6, rooted with the file upd_1.zip downloaded with this website.
1. It's an .apk file for rooting, correct? Are all such files (i.e. apk files for rooting) installed through the recovery mode?
2. How does it differ from
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...wsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5ub3NodWZvdS5hbmRyb2lkLnN1Il0.
3. It's installed in system/app, correct? If it is a system app, why can't I uninstall it with Titanium backup like I do with Samsung Apps, Voice Search, FM Radio, and other system apps? (I use a file called unroot.zip to uninstall, downloaded from this website also)
Thanks guys!
1. .apk files are not installed through the recovery mode, every android app is an .apk file , so install it with the .apk installer
2. With "superuser" you can give apps rootaccess to your phone
3. No, root is deeper in the system, you can´t uninstall it with titanium backup because titanium needs root! Did you root per kernel or per App ( superoneclick )? If you rooted per kernel, install a stock kernel and you won´t have been rooted after. If you rooted per App, you normally can uninstall root with the app .
I hope I could help you.
After installation custom rom (and then stock again) root installer cannot uninstall application (uninstall failed). Phone is root, and there is no other problem with root access. Btw, after that message from root uninstaller application dissapear, but it's still there when I looking in settings>apps>all (but i cannot open it, and it is not the same icon). When I reboot phone app disapeared from settings>apps>all too.
I tried several root uninstaller application!
This is not was happened when I was root official stock rom for first time...
Does anybody know about that problem?
Thx!

Click to collapse
Just go to root folder and find oem folder/app and delete those apps simple
Just install Link2SD or SystemUninstall App from playstore.
Those App only work for rooted device.
Uninstall the useless Apps. But be careful with it, don't delete system functioning App.
After uninstall completed, reboot the device.

Device: OnePlus 7 Pro
Os: Oxygen OS 10.0.1
I decided to uninstall the pre-loaded Netflix application that comes with the phone. I rooted my device and downloaded System App Remover to the successully uninstal the app. Once uninstalled the app, I decided to unroot the device. After unrooting the app came back.
Is this normal? Do I need to be rooted to uninstall the app? And where is comming the uninstalled app from after unrooting?
Thanks.
I usually delete the APK I use root explorer
Thanks for the replay
I also tried that. When I deleite the APK and reboot the app is deleted. Then , when i unroot with the magisk manager app, the uninstalled app returns.
