rooted Magic back to Factory defaults :(

Hello Guys,
first i have to say sorry for my bad english...
now my problem:
yesterday i´d successfully rooted my HTC magic with the tutorial from Hayriku.
My Problem now is that i have to send my phone to vodafone and i´d like to set it back to factory defaults and also unroot it.
i searched the forum and found another thread with the original sapphire recovery... so i tried it this way.
i put the img. file on my SD Card and typed in the command for a reboot, but the cmd line says me "not found"
i typed "adb shell reboot" but then it told me "not found"
Now i´ve got a huge problem and hope somebody could help me.

Could you post the link to the tutorial please? I've seen differents versions of the same one, so maybe some steps differs)
But, if you have well done the other parts of the tutorial, I presume that you can do an "ugly" reboot... (aka removing the battery and boot it normally).

it was the first Tutorial which is in the Haykiru Root thread, here from XDA-Developers.
isnt it the same way to reboot via ADB, or power off and start manually ?
how can i check if my phone is resetted to ne original recovery ?

LG P999 phone stuck at S/W updating please wait error message. Thanks in advance.

My phone is LG P999, I am trying to do software update on it, it got stuck at S/W update screen.
Things i have tried so far
1) i have tried update with LG update tool but its showing me no connectivity in my LG phone and PC error
2) As suggested by lot of people at xda i have tried hard reset of my phone but for some reason its coming back at same screen
3) As suggested on xda i have tried this link too

i was able to do complete process but when i am trying to do last step to run

Thanks to this wonderful link, i have tried and succesfully reached at last step where i can see all the options , i tried factory reset but its still coming back at same place where i started like S/W upgrade screen.
Could anybody please let me know what should i do next to bring my phone back to normal.
i don't want to click any wrong button at this point , please help

I'm the noob that has problems with his smartphone.
I have a P500, i was using Perfect Peso 2.2 with OLD BB.
So I thought: "Why not update to NEW BB?"
Well, worst thing I could ever think about.
I followed the tutorial step by step, it worked very well, then I tried to install CWM and root my dear smartphone.
Whenever I try to tap on "Turn on USB storage" the android robot becomes orange, and then suddenly forcecloses.
I tried to download Rom Manager from the market, but I can't download anything, it says "Download Failed".
Help me, please, I'm going crazy, thank you all.

[Q] recovery is gone tf101 please help

i have a tf 101, android version 3.1 and experience the following problem:
after installing the stock rom, after beiing routed i cant get into recovery anymore. when i press vol.down and power,and after 5 sec the vol. up button i get an droid whit a triangle and "!" sign, and it won't do anything else.
i tried the following things to repair, whit these problems...
i tried to install rasorclaw.apk but tf101 says : "there is a problem parsing the package" and it won't install
i tried to intall recoveryinstaller.apk but the same "there is a problem parsing the package"
i also tried vipermod primetime v4.1 but it by step it says :
step 3- installing bussybox...
/data/local/installbusybox: /system/bin/su: not found
su: permission denied
i don't know what to do now...
can someone please help me?

I had a problem with my phone recently, then my cousin did some stuff. he said, he replaced the file called "Core.jar" with the same file but from the stock rom, I guess he rooted it, then I couldn't install any Apps anymore or even APKs so I tried to do a hard reset, with great luck, It always gets stucked on "Updating Apps 1 of 134" blah blah, searched some forums for in about 5 hours, I tried side loading some zips(Stock Rom), even a root zip to try fixing, but to no luck. I couldn't manage to get it to Devices when inputting ADB Devices in mini-sdk, only up to sideloading. I really need help

First ask your cousin to fix it again.
If he is not willing and/or able to fix it, then register on xda and ask in the Questions and Answers forum.
Unfortunately there is no specific forum for your exact device/model on xda.
Usually after flashing a complete stock firmware and factory resetting, you should get the phone booting into system again.

So yeah, my cousin tried to fix it. But to no avail. He failed to do so...
as I have tried.. using adb sideload commands it failed.
1st attempt : I tried flashing through adb sideload. Send complete but in my phone, "Installation aborted"
2nd attempt: adb shell... error:closed... tried to killserver and srart again.. tried almost all adb commands.. no success..
3rd attempt: SP flasher unfortunately idk why my device cant get detected like "(serial) devices" I can only detect it when I actiate sideload which goes "(serial) sideload)
I can boot up my phone, but when it starts, it stucks at "Android is upgrading" optimizing apps 1 of 134... I think the cause was core.jar ever since he replaced it. I was not able to install any apks.. what's the function of core.jar anyways?

As I don't know your device, I can't say.
From the name it is a java file containing core functions.
Best to ask in the Q&A forum I linked in my previous post.
