[Q] How To Manually Wipe Data and Cache via CWM?

Hello all. Noob.
REFUSE V1.7 Installation instructions [LINK] states
"If you are coming from another ROM, manually wipe data and cache via CWM before installing."
Can anyone please explain this to me?
I am coming from a different ROM (Infused), and I cracking my skull here trying to understand what is CWM and how to get there and how to wipe the cache and data

In CWM scroll to wipedata/factory. N then wipe particions. N there you go.

mmm... THANKS SO MUCH, but is what CWM? How do I get there? Is that an app?

You need to install modded 3e recovery. Theres a vid on youtibe that shows you how

If you install rom from sd card (its an option on rom manager) you'll get options to wipe data and what not.

[Q] Netflix App

Hi has anyone had any issues with netflix when you are trying to see a movie? Every time i try i get to the video player but the video starts flashing. Does anyone know how to fix this?

No problem on slim bean
Might wanna try un installing going to recovery wiping cache and dalvic cache then reinstalling
Also what ROM are you on...maybe someone on the same ROM as you can verify whether or jot its isolated to you or the ROM

If I have cm7 on my phone. And I flash a cm7 based rom do I have to do a full wipe?

Read the op for the ROM you are flashing. It will tell you what is recommended. You can always try to flash it without wiping and if doesn't work right, do a full wipe and flash again.

i always wipe to prevent fc from old app data

Home button doesn't work on the new Hellfire rom

Reboot into clockworkmod and wipe cache and reboot and it should fix your problem.

I had the same issue. I went in to cwm, cleared davik/cache, and fixed permissions. When I rebooted I was back in business.

Tried all of these and the home button still is not working back button works but is a pain to keep pressing it to leave an app

I'm using the same rom, 2.4. Home button is working same with all of the others, did the standard flash and threw gapps, old bb patch on. Wipe your cache, dav cache, and factory wipe it then put rom on, install patches/gapps and do file permissions. I'm using a Wind p999 if it matters.

Have you tried a data/factory reset? maybe it's an app!
Have you tried flashing a stock rom with odin to see if it fixes the issue?

When i try factory/data reset the device restart before factory reset finish.....
