Anyone else experienced this? It keeps freezing after like 2-3 min. It just stays stuck while loading the page. I have to exist the browser, close and open again the wifi or 3g connection in order for the page to load.
And another thing. . Sometimes when i open a an article for ex in a new tab, when i go to the said tab after 1-2 min, it stays white .... It doesn't load.

Has anyone experienced this or has this been discussed in any thread for the TF? But my stock browser often closes unexpectedly with no force close message and returns to the home screen. When reopened, it forgets the recently the opened pages. Very, very annoying..

I got this a few times last night. It happened mainly on large/busy sites. I think this is an issue that will be rectified with the future 3.1 update.

Had it happen once or twice in the past 3 weeks. I think it is just an HC stability issue.
It seems to happen to me more often after I updated to the latest Adobe Flash 10.3.
Ditto. It has happened here every once and a while... But not enough to bother me.. I assume it will be addressed later.
This happened about 3 times yesterday evening while I was browsing. I don't know if it is related to a HC stability bug, or an Adobe Flash bug, although I'm more inclined towards the former, because I can browse perfectly fine with my Atrix on Flash 10.3. Also, I noticed a strange thing for the first time yesterday: When the browser crashes with no FC message, and you restart it back again, I get a screen filled with banding and multi-colored interference. Only way to fix it is to restart. I hope all of this gets taken care of with 3.1, because the browser experience really leaves something to be desired on 3.0.1 in my opinion. It just does not handle any heavy pages at all, let alone any embedded videos or just videos period.
happens when you try surfing to gmail
If you would like to see it crash 100% of the time, go to your gmail and try to open a message
It also freaks out in Gmail main page.
I was having browser crashes as well until the sudden disk space full error. After my factory reset the browser crashes have gone away. I wonder if they are related.
I got it twice in 3 weeks. It happened both times on Yahoo's ain page.
Happens to me also but never loses its place.
3.1
i first noticed this happening last night, 2nd night after updating to 3.1. never happened before that. i don't have the screen timeout on so the screen will stay on so i can see my moves list at a glance on a website. after about 10-15 minutes of not touching device it will just suddenly return to the homescreen and if i open browser it has to reload the page. i thought maybe it was something to do with the built in android memory management auto killing the browser, since there doesn't appear to be any flash on the page.
i too am having this problem.
Stock browser is where it started, so I go Dolphin HD and it still happens. So its not the browser itself it would seem, since 2 different browsers both do it.
There HAS to be a fix for this...
Since the 3.1 update I'm seeing something different - The browser simply stops responding after a while.

I to am having trouble with my browser. I am experiencing it ceasing to function aftwr awhile as l as frequent crashing when I load it. Crashes all the time if I type anything or use the menu if Ido so before it finishes loading my home page.
When your updated to 3.1, click reset all in the settings menu. Then when it's finish go into the browser settings and set plugins to be on demand. I'm able to run well like that it is flash that kills it, soon as you click the flash content to enable it on a page it may crash.
I have a problem which happens 4-5 times per day requiring me to restart the phone. I use the phone to browse the internet on my phone, I'm browsing then suddenly the web pages become unresponsive and a yellow caution sing shows o n the HTC Portable Hotspot icon in the task bar.
I look at my phone and its showing "H" with the upload arrow showing white with the download arrow grey. Its very annoying, does this happen to anyone else?
Cheers
Never happened to me.
Maybe it is something to do with leedroid rom.. ?
happens to me a bit, usually i disconnect the network in quick settings or airplane mode, turn it back on and that works but a proper fix would be nice
Happens to me too.
I also had the same thing on my Desire so not just specific to this phone/ROM.
I always put it down to a general network problem and that it just gets "stuck"
Phil
It happens while browsing. It just shuts down to the Launcher. Actually i can't normally use it because of this.
What can be the problem?
I think the problem disappears only when i turn off Javascript, but without it some pages won't load.
i have same problem, its annoying cause when you open the browser after it closes its lost the page you were on, not sure what the problem is though
i had that problem too, downloaded dolpin brower hd and the problem is over
Only times that happends to me is pages with lots of animation. And flash videos crashing the browser i just uninstalled flash and installed an 10.1 flash apk. Maybe helps quick reply. Cheers
I noticed that flash version over 10.1 does not play videos only resulted in green screen error. Im running opera browser and works 10 fold better. Might be related i dunno.

I had this problem on a previous version, I just deleted/copied it from the system/app folder and reinstalled it and it seemed to work fine.
I think it can be also related with ad blockers. When turned off it seem to stop.
I used adaway, and adfree, but it seem that they can cause some problems.
Nope, still had a sudden shut down. 2-3 tabs open while browsing quite a big website results in sudden shut down of a browser,.and tabs disappear.
So there is no other way than set the dolphin as a default.
I have a brand new HTC One X on att, and I have been using chrome for awhile now and all of a sudden it stops cooperating. Specifically when you try to load a web page it shows that it is loading, but never actually shows the web page and you can keep clicking refresh and it does the same thing. Also at the same time if you click the button to view open tabs the top of the screen changes, but the rest stays white and you cant see the open tabs. I have uninstalled the app a few times and re-installed and the problems persist so I am stuck using the stock web browser which isn't as bad as chrome but does have some annoying features. Has anyone else experienced this problem with chrome?

It's not a phone specific issue, I've run in to that before too. Sometimes clearing the apps data and cache in 'Android Settings>Apps.'
Ok so i'm getting this weird error :S, after fixing other problems i started installing some apps, everything fine.
after installing around 30 apps (not big ones, around 3mb each, only 3 o4 are like 40mb) i found that my tablet got reeeeeeeeeeeeeally slow at startup, it starts, then it freezes and the it takes like 10 minutes or more to respond (please ignore the random restart title, i thought it was auto-restarting but now i see that i was restarting it annd because of the freezing it took like 2 minutes to respond to my previous "force-reboot" and so i was thinking it was not my reboot but an auto-reboot.
EDIT: i decided to let the tablet alone to see if it restarts or anything and after like 10 minutes o more it sudenly comes back to normal, and i find out becuase i hear the whistle from my email inbox and then it is all normal again but that wasn't happening, could it be all because of the load of apps? i think 5 or more minutes freezed is too much, is there a way to check what's being loaded at startup?
