Just wondering if anyone is is actuality receiving the OTA yet. Mine keeps saying its up to date at 4.2.2 I heard they halted the update because of a bug but I cant find much out there on the actual live roll out.
ATT California no update yet.
I had OTA downloaded it several times but it failed to install. I eventually downloaded the file posted in the mj9 to mj9 thread which was the same that came to me OTA. I pushed it from my sdcard.
So yes I am on it, but I assume there will be another OTA chance soon after some bugs are worked out.

Unless I'm mistaken, I think you just got pushed the HSUPA update. This part of the file name, "1_84_502_11", matches my firmware number after the HSUPA update. I don't know what number was on the firmware before the update, but my firmware is 1.84.502.11 after said update. From what I remember, the file name is exactly the one I got when I checked for it after the update was officially released last month.
EDIT: Unless of course, I'm wrong, and that's a totally new firmware update. Though I haven't seen any info on any new firmware updates for us since HSUPA.

I got the push on this via wifi yesterday afternoon also. I was assuming that this was the update that would enable installation of non market apps but I was wrong. Anyone have any additional information on this OTA update?
Personally, I do not think this is a recent update as I have been running custom roms since I bought the device but had to revert back to stock because of a warranty issue that will require me sending the device back. I think it is an update that was missed in the timeframe from February launch up until about 3 days ago.
Build Number

I just referenced those numbers to mine and it IS the HSUPA update. It wasn't released till late April, so it hasn't been out that long. I just don't know if you should install it. If your sending it back, and since you reverted back to stock, maybe you should try installing it.

I was at wendys today, used their wifi to check for the update and sure enough it was this same one. D/l'ed it and installed. My speeds went from 200kb/s to 500kb/s. That was just one test though
I just hope this doesnt effect rooting it in the future as i plan to do so.
Just got the Inspire for my wife today. Saw this update as well. She doesn't want me to root or flash anything yet. Wondering if it's ok to run this update without it affecting the ability to root and flash anything later.
TIA

This morning I did a manual check for new software on my stock non-rooted tbolt and got a reply that new FW is available. Downloaded and installed. It is version 1.13.605.7 CL341545. I'm a noob and looked around for any other posting about a new OTA and didn't find one so thought I'd post this for comments.
I believe this was the first OTA. There should be another one coming out shortly that will bring you up to 1.66.xxx.x
Under status it reads Mecha_Verizon_WWE_1.13.605.7-1.12.605.6. Does this help?
That's the ota update. Just follow instructions, and install it.

It's probably a late arrival of the last update.
nothing for me yet either. I am so tired of checking and also calling verizon and htc just to get conflicting and useless answers
In San Diego here, OTA just occurred this morning. Its the OTA from 7/8 that are rolling out and finally getting here.
Finished update earlier today and it's now showing version 1.70.605.0
Previous version on my phone was
The update appears to be OTA v. 1.70.605.0
I have to definitely consider if I want to root and soon as OTA are coming out.
questions for all: whats your preference for root with this new version:

Just tried downloading the new 4.3 update. It was posted it was coming out today. However, when i try to check for it, it says there is no newer update.
Anyone got this yet? The official download from ATT, not the hacked rom.

If it says there is no update, then its not out yet...
Also, the 13th was and has always been speculation. Don't always believe a well put together picture with information

Nothing here. I'd suggest linger around some Android news sites and wait for one of them to put up something saying that the update is rolling out.
I spoke with an AT&T rep not long ago who had his manager check on the status. He told me it would be out within a week or so, but nothing concrete.
Just reading some info on the S3 and the update was pulled cause people are experiencing lots of problems. I wonder if thats why they pulled the S4...

Could be. Looks very similar to the one I got in July for the 4.2.2 patch.

It only started rolling out yesterday. Give it time.

I'm coming from iOS. When an update is released im used to it being available immediately. How long does this typically take?

It can take 1 day up to a 2-3 weeks to get it. If you cant it sooner, just flash the kdz
