It just proves how worthless benchmarks really are.

My benchmarks are unstable too, on Dalvik and ART.
Its not really important, but its more anoying.
1 of my friends got a S4, and says its faster.
And ofcourse when i benchmark when sitting next to him its low, and when i test it at home its high.
But benchmarks doesnt say that much, and alot of company`s cheat on the benchmarks.
I think it has to do with thermal throttling, I'm not sure though..
Thermal it is

I got a significantly higher 3Dmark score after I rooted the phone and kept it in a cool room for a few hours. A warm to the touch phone runs slower because the silicon is quite hot by then and throttling back to stay cool.

Easy to flash and fast too. Clean install got a 2200 Quadrant score. Restored all of my apps and settings and got an 1800. Not too bad.

Are you running it at 1200 or 1000? I get 2400+ most of the time when overclocked and at least 2000 when not, with all my apps installed. How do those scores compare to what you were getting on other roms? perhaps your cpu is just a little slower.
this rom scales 1.2ghz to 400mhz.
scheduler is set on "deadline".
vm heap is 56m.
deadline scheduler may affect benchmarks and ui interaction a little bit.

Oh, probably should clarify.
I set SetCPU on 1000 max and 100 min on conservative for the 1800 score. Fresh install, no SetCPU for the 2200. On other ROMs, I dunno. I'm more for battery life than high(er) performance since my phone's pretty fast anyway.
Does it come with a Death Notepad?

Anyone having an issue with tapatalk? I can't search for forums (searching for forums to subscribe to, not searching for posts/threads...although I don't think that's working either). Also the forums I'm already subscribe to are very very slow to load. Notice tapatalk.com isn't coming up either....
Mines not working either

same here, slow to load notifications take forever to send you to the thread........
Crashes for me at least once a day, especially when there are a lot of graphics on the page.

The xda app itself is also buggy.
Once i open mine, it is just stuck at loading

This would make sense since it is just the tapatalk app stripped down to only view one forum.

the main site (tapatalk . com) says unable to connect.. I think it is related
But I have never had an issue with the Android Central app, which is also stripped Tapatalk, but I use it much less.

I always have issues with Tapatalk. I've regretted spending money on it since I bought it so long ago. It seems the developer just can't fix the issues. I always haven issues with pictures loading, force closing on picture heavy threads, it'll randomly kick me out of a thread for no reason. These problems have always persisted, regardless of my device and set up.

Same here. I hate this stupid app but there is no other choice. It's a crap shoot if pics load or not and it constantly stutters while scrolling. The TT devs are pretty much worthless.
Use forum runner its much better...takes a bit to get set up right but well worth it

Agreed forumrunner is better then tapa

wow... already?!
I guess it's up to the devs ... if they can keep it cool
Link HERE
Let's hope the dev will release it anyway.
Maybe it would work with underclocked just a little so the temp wouldn't get as high as normal speed.
I'm ready to try it even if it overheat a lil and if it die.. I'll just get a S800 then... Haha

So whats you're favorite rom for the sr and why?
I'm using skyics at the moment. I love the bare bones feel, and the incredible battery life. I also enjoy embryo jb (still tweaking that to my liking) I was thinking of moving on to kitkat and just wanted to hear some reviews (positive and negative) of the ones available to us. I had kitkat on my old phone (inspire4g) but it just made me angry with its constant fc's missing features and sucking my battery dry. :banghead:
I'm also a fan of the miui's but can't seem to find a jb one for our phone that isn't closed.
Thanks in advance for your information :thumbup:

This is considered a best thread which usually ends up in heated debate/trolling they do nothing to further the community and are against the rules. I have reported the thread to the moderators for deletion.

Exactly this.
OP, sorry, but I will have to close this thread as it always, always ends up in a heated debate from fanboys of each rom/developer. You will just have to read, flash, and try for yourself.
Thank you for understanding and happy flashing. :highfive:
Please install droidfish chess app, set threads to 8 and start infinite analysis on initial board position. Look at the bottom to see knps number and send screenshot.
Snapdragon 805 performed poorly around 600knps. This time i expect more than 1000knps..
Can snapdragon 810 beat Note 4 exynos cpu 1443k result?
Here is the same test from Note 4 thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/general/benchmark-test-result-t2896448
No idea if this is good or not lol

The Snapdragon S810 looks very "unstable" and throttles quickly. Sam, you gave me 1300 knps by pm, yesterday after having let the phone cool down a little. Many thanks for your different tests. Can you try another test just at the "first use" in the morning after rebooting? thanks again
Here, I redid the bench and it's 1.1k. Screenshots attached.

The G flex 2 is one strange animal.
The benchmarks are awesome. But the phone stutters worse than a single cpu phone.
Sent from my LG-H959 using XDA Free mobile app
Thanks for your re-tests. A friend (who doesn't own the LG G Flex 2) advocates to test with just 2 threads to try and prevent from 'throttling'. It would be interesting for us that you test it with 2 threads (settings) and 8 again... er.... upon wakening (the device will be 'fresh' and 'rested'...
For your curiosity, I add that my Cube T9 reaches 1737 knps at its peaks; even if the screen sensitivity isn't 'optimum'.
Best regards to 'testers' and evaluations of other handies are welcome...
