Hello everyone,
I am sorry that I'm posting this topic in the wrong section, I've tried to search if there's a general section where I could post problem but didn't find one.
I have this tablet, it's not like the officila nexus 5,7 tablest but the copy one that you usually find around, of other companies(maybe chinese), it has android os in it but i don't know which version.
THe problem wiht the tables is that is stuck on the logo when I turn it on, is it there anyway to hard reset it or install the os again?
Thank you
This doesn't belong here. This forum is for the nexus 5.

since i am not yet allowed to post in the developer section of the xda-developers forum, i wanted to ask my question here. since one of the first builds of cyanogenmod for the galaxy ace appeared, i had installed it.
the installation went fine, but seeing as though the proximity meter did not work, wifi had some problems, and multiple apps were randomly crashing from time to time, i was forced to fall back to the stock android.
since then a couple of new nightlies came out for this phone (one of them is rather recently released). the official thread is here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1543521 .
what i wanted to ask is if there is anyone out there that tried the latest nightly build, to confirm the problems i named above are all solved.
the second question i had is, if i have a galaxy ace with baseband version xwks2, can i just flash a rom with baseband ks9 on it for example?
any help would be greatly appreciated, and i would like to apologise i could not leave a comment in an existing thread.
go to cwr and wipe date, wipe cache again, it's may have some wrong when you install this rom ?
but i think cm7 on galaxy ace is not work well, you can try myth, i thinks it's best rom for galaxy ace
sorry for my bad Eng
will do
thanks a lot there nicknayemclone ,
i have alreadyy tried wiping the cache and dalvik and everything, but the problem keeps occuring. the annoying thing is, if i use the stock android i also have slight lags(same thing when i just bought it). i have heard about myth, but i would like my rom to be as close to vanilla android 2.3 as i can get . myth seems like its to hard on my phone to run as smooth as cyanogenmod

So first off I have never posted something on a forum before, so if i'm posting this in the wrong place or something please feel free to move it to the right place or whatever. Are you supposed to even create a new thread for a question?
Anyways, I have a 2012 nexus 7. When I go into the the about tablet theres no update button/check for update button. i'm on 4.2.2 and i've heard android 4.3 fixes the lagginess of the device. My nexus 7 is unlocked, rooted, and running AOPK. I think AOPK might be the problem, but otherwise I have absolutely no idea why the update button isn't there.
Also, I know virtually nothing about android, so if anyone has solutions, basic step by step instructions and explain any advanced terminology.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
And I guess I i'm breaking the rules by posting this here according to the button below, sorry, I have no idea how to use a forum. But I would assume a moderator can move the thread.
Thanks.
Help,
I have a nexus 7 2013 wifi edition 16 gb
I was playing around with cyanogenmod and I was trying to fix my camera.
I tried to flash a kernel using clockworkmod
I downloaded the kernel to my Nexus 7
went into cwm
install zip>install from SD card> navigated to downloads folder> found kernel > flashed
then an error occured and it said install aborted
then I rebooted, but it never turned on and now I can't boot at all, no matter how long I hold the power button. I have tried volume +power and still nothing.
Please help!!!
p.s. I am fairly new to the forum sorry for any errors I made, also I did as much research as possible before making this.
Hi,
Here is a great Q&A thread in your device section you can ask for help in... Or perhaps you'll find answers there already,

Hello everyone. I'm sorry if this is not where this goes but I posted in my tablets forum and I was told it doesn't belong there. I can't find the "WiFi" forum I was told to post it on.
I rooted my tablet and tried to install BlissPop by booting in recovery and using teamwin to install. When I booted BlissPop optimized my apps and then had the loading circle. The circle spun for about 10 minutes and then optimized the apps again. It just kept repeating this.
Was wondering if someone could help me with the installation of ROMs and maybe a starters guide to what this all means?

Sorry to hear about your trouble but we cannot provide technical support nor can other members reply to your posts here on XDA Assist. I see that you have already posted in the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4Q&A forum at http://forum.xda-developers.com/tab-4/help but perhaps a better place would be the Bliss Pop WiiFi thread at http://forum.xda-developers.com/tab-4/development/rom-blisspop-3-1-t3084757 or wherever you found the link to your specific Bliss Pop version.
EDIT: Member has now posted in the suggested area. Thread closed.

Well this started yesterday and for some reason my phone was getting really hot and laggy I tried to clean some of my running apps but I didn't really helped, i tried restarting and still was happening so I booted to safe mode and checked what was causing this and I found out that "Android system" was using the most memory about 1.5gb out of 3
And this is Frist time this is happening and I didn't change anything on my phone or installed any app that would cause this.
I'm on Android 7.1.1 beta lasted build (NMF26F) running on Nexus 6p non rooted.
It would be nice if you could help me out with this.

Hello,
Try a hard reboot or maybe flashing the firmware again if that helps.
We don't own the device so it is difficult for us to know what's causing it.
