Hello guys. Need an urgent help. My galaxy sl( i9003) screwed up. Below are the steps what caused it:
1. I was in value pack(DDLF2). with root access using cwm.(stock rom)
2. Then i flashed cm10 alpha 4. It was too unstable and i was facing lots of issues. Not able to copy files in my internal sd card. The files get copied but it gets automatically deleted when i remove the usb cable.
3. So i deiced to go back to stock rom.
4. Flashed xxkpe using odin from samfirmwire. Selected re-partion using latona pit and other standard files. Everything took place successfully.
5. Now phone is in boot loop and when i am in recovery mod it shows (E:failed to mount data (Invalid Argument))
Please help ?
pls help

HELP PLEASE! MY PHHONE HAS BEEN DEAD FOR 2 DAYS. ERROR MOUNTING EMMC!
My phone is stuck at bootloop and it goes to black screen and comes again. But my phone won't turn on.
problem began when i tried to increase my app storage space. I did a backup but restoring couldn't read data saying error. Then i tried to install a custom rom my phone was running on. Installation was succesful. But again as i said it was stuck at bootloop.
i google for bricked solution and tried almost everything. I even tried to flash stock rom with windows sp flash tool. Didn't work.
when i was trying everything in CMW recovery(like wipe data, cache, dalvec cache n everything individually) and i tried to mount emmc and it said
error mounting /emmc
otherwise everything worked
then i thought trying to increase app storage may have broken my partition
phone's warranty just expired 1 month ago
CAN ANYBODY FIND A SOLUTION FOR THIS?
First things first, I'm a newbie when it comes to all these.
I installed CM11 after much effort, but some things didn't work out well so afterwards, I installed CM12.1* (FXP-cm-11-20150301-UNOFFICIAL-taoshan).* But then I decided that I wanted to change my Gapps Package, so I went to recovery mode once again to wipe my phone and install CM12 all over again.
The thing is that for some reason I just couldn't wipe it (no error message) but I was able to log in back to the system (CM12).
I messed around with a few settings and finally I decided to install twrp 2.8.7.0 through the flashify app. I rebooted to recovery, tried to wipe again my phone and then, all hell broke loose.
I realized that I cannot wipe internal memory of all things, and cannot install any new ROM. Can't flash another recovery either through windows flashtool like CWM 6.0 Philz touch, for example. Well, it does flash but my phone keeps on logging into the twrp recovery. I also can't flash my original fft (obviously). I can't do really anything besides messing around with twrp options (and I've messed a lot with them). I'm all out of ideas, so please someone help. When trying to wipe internal storage, the following message appears:
E:mkdosfs /dev/block/mmcblk0p32 process ended with ERROR=1
E:Unable to wipe '/sdcard'.
E:Unknown MTP message type: 1
E:Unable to wipe '/sdcard'
I have the whole log, for anyone interested.
Please help and remember, I'm a newbie.
Thank you.

Thank you for your answer my friend, but I actually managed to fix my problem just moments before you posted your answer! What I did was to flash the cm12.1 recovery nightly which logged me into this recovery (although it seemed all messed up and.. broken). Nevertheless, I managed to flash the CM12.1 ROM from there and everything worked fine!
Bro #immortalwind.. I'm having the same problem exactly what you had. Seriously fu***d up with all with boot loop @ recovery. Could not able to hard reset / factory reset at neither CWM nor TWRP. Tried all knows possible ways. Please could you help me here. Any1 who can halp me here pls...
P.S: literally not moving from the boot load, so flashing a ROM could not be possible i think. any other suggestions please.....

Just reflash stock ftf. You'll be good to go. If that fails, check drivers and downgrade flashtool. After that, normally, install a boot image with a recovery, install your rom gapps, reboot.
Managed to flash.ftf... Thanks for the help friends.

Hello there!
I used to run a custom ROM on my Mate 9 with encryption deactivated.
My mistake:
-Factory reset from TWRP instead of from within the rom.
Now, I cant install any ROM, cant flash a new recovery, cant format, cant change file format. Always getting this "cant mount volume error".
When I try to flash a different rom, I get "error 7".
I'm lost, dont know what to do.
Can anybody help me out?
Best regards
Sorry if this will be considered spam, but I needed to repost here instead.
I loaded the recovery mode and attempted to load TWRP without knowing how to activate Fastboot. Unfortunately, I had wiped the cache partition and rebooted the phone.
It resulted in kicking itself into recovery after a failed boot-up into android, as string of E: can't mount /cache showed. I tried to wipe data/facctory reset and try again but I'm stuck.
If anyone has a possible solution/suggestion, I'm open to do it.
i know its too late to answer your question, but i will answer for anyone who comes here next...
First: you have rebooted your phone before it finish the wipe data order, this caused your problem.
Second: just make another wipe data/cache... but wait for about 30-50 Minutes till its done ... yeah it takes that long
