[Q] Can you Help Me through HTC one s ville [S4] S-on Hboot 2.15 o2_uk Ugly problem - HTC One S

Hello Everybody
This is my first thread ,i have been visitor so longtime here to read about my problem ,jumping from here to here until i pass 3 months .
To be easy and make it short i have HTC one s ville S4 with internal storage [no SD card] had JB 4.1.1 and was locked by o2 but unfortunately i decided to install custom ROM to unlock it because i couldn't play terminal to get UN code and fix it like normal here ,so i installed CM 10.2 nighty and here is the beginning of my pain couldn't reach network manual or automatic or roaming ,
I pass to Dark Jelly bean custom and could see only networks but can't access it because once they ask to restart i think custom ROM wont allow software on Sim card to be confirmed as i wish to fix it .
I have followed lot of thread to fix it but unfortunately i only gained big folder of so much software and many days reading without fix !!
Info about my phone status :
HTC one s Ville [s4] S-on
Hboot 2.15.0000
Radio: 1.11.50.05.28
CID : O2___001
Internal storage
Tembared & Unlocked
Current recovery CWM 6.0.0.3
Not sure is rooted or not whatever i install Super user won't accept it .
Every time i go ADB shell and write su >> SU # Not found
Custom rom i can install and work without Network cover " Dark jelly bean and CM 10 and CM 10.2 " and all work with my radio version .
right now i have so much files and custom rom's to try it but Europe version most work is those custom's and i can't install stock ROM according to my version they don't have it ,i try so much to search for it and it was my wish after i success to create the unlock code for my network but my original ROM was gone .
My wishes : Find real help from u guys which i believe this is the right place for .
Install or come back to stock ROM
If this not work i have Nandroid backup from some one else but i don't know how to install it with CWM its just zipped CWm won't accept to install so probably it's trick and maybe need to be real rooted device which until now i don't know how !!!
I do have base android Kernel and unlocked my HTC one s " maybe rooted" i don't know how to know through custom recovery although my adb shell #su no su found
I hope to get real help and thanks for all Developers which make lot of guys happy with there phone's[

You can have root access by flashing the flashable zip file (see in attachments).
`Put it in root of your sdcard (not in any folder)
`Reboot your phone into recovery and select the superuser flashable zip file and install it.
`Reboot your phone and open the SuperUser application in your Menu App drawer.
```If it says outdated binary & it needs to be updated, allow it to continue. It will update by itself and reboots.
Now you should have your root access.
#Flashable SuperUser zip created by ArcMan09
Then install any custom rom or restore stock nandroid backup and try to unlock your phone (SIM) through the method available in xda forum.
Without proper root access, I dont think you can run terminal emulator to unlock your phone.
After that, confirm your root access using this app
[Q] Chacha bricked - need help please
Hello so i was flashing a custom rom to my htc chacha (isnt the first time) but i dont know what happened now.after i installed the rom in cwm, NOW the phone just boots into bootloader,scans the SD card , and then just freezes..i cant move using the vol. keys or choose fastboot using the power button. Also it shows **locked** above..
Originally the phone had fw number 1.23.502.1 (cingular usa )
Now i was flashing this
Android version 2.3.5 - build (1.57.415.3)
i think i said no after i flashed the unlock token , and the i rooted and installed the rom ? i dont really know .. any ideas ?
i was wondering if i could put update zip in the sd card for the bootloader to scan and install ?
Thanks in advance
"Locked above" means that your bootloader is locked.
Yes i think something went wrong through-out the unlocking process but i did go into cwm and installed the root and the custom rom ... and now this is what i've got.. what do u think i couldd do now ?
revert back to stock to update to ICS
Hi , few months ago i rooted my phone ( did not install any custom rom) only the clockwork recovery mod (somethin like that) i think , so now i wanna go back to stock so i can install ICS, i download my RUU and a pg58IMG.zip file(what is that for) , so the problem is that my phone is connected in charging mod to my pc , and debugging is on , but adb devices cant read it , what should i do ?
Please any additional info would be appreciated , thank you alot
as far as i know, if you want to install stock htc ics, you just download the original RUU, run setup and plug in your phone, you don't need clockwork recovery or anything else like that, just follow the steps from the HTC RUU setup...
If you have received the FOTA updated just changed the recovery to stock HTC Recovery. And flash or run the OTA update. I use this guide to get back to stock HTC Recovery it may also help you [GUIDE] Get Stock Recovery/Install OTA Updates without losing data.
[Completed] TWRP Write protection preventing flashing / Backup's
I rooted / S-off and installed a custom ROM from day 1 with this phone (Verizon HTC One M8).
I have been using the phone for awhile and haven't flashed anything. Today, i started looking into upgrading to a new ROM and realized that I needed to update my firmware before hand. I used this to get back to stock with the new firmware - (http://forum.xda-developers.com/ver...ent/ruu-m8vzw-4-4-4-s-off-onlynewest-t2914914). I used the SD card and Hboot loaded the RUU from the 0P6BIMG.zip.
I am currently running this official software with s-off and root. I installed TWRP with flashify. I booted in to TWRP recovery and attempted a backup and it failed. I attempted to flash a new ROM (i verified the MD5) and it also failed. After some reading it seem as if the stock HTC kernel has write protection turned off preventing TWRP from accessing these files.
I think i will be fine if i get another ROM installed....The new ROM will have a kernel with write access. I would even be happy with replacing the kernel on the official ROM (therefore enabling write access).
I don't know, I'm stuck. Please help!!!
Yes, seems that you might be right.
Maybe flashing a cusom kernel will be enough to gain read/write access in TWRP recovery.
But first:
Are you on the latest TWRP version? (Check in the Verizon One (M8) Original Android Development > [RECOVERY][m8wlv] TWRP 2.8.3.0 touch recovery [2014-12-22] thread.) There was an update yesterday to v2.8.3.0.
The new version has updated support for latest SuperSu app. Check that you are on the latest SuperSU app (viw Play store) too.
If both versions (TWRP and SuperSU) are up-to-date and you still have the access issue, then you should try to flash a custom kernel.
Check this for available kernels: Verizon HTC One (M8) > Kernel.
And here is a discussion thread about ROMs and kernels for your device: Verizon One (M8) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > ROM's and kernel suggestions.
In case that you still have questions or need detailed help, please ask in the Verizon One (M8) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum.
Thread closed and thank you.
I presume you are also on the 4.4.2 bootloader and modem, and not on an earlier bootloader/modem pair and a custom 4.4.2 ROM. If this is true, NE1 bootloader and modem, you have very few options. I think there are three ROMs to choose from: stock, SuperLiteROM, and PaulPizz. Before installing either of the last two you will need to root and then install the Unofficial SafeStrap. Links to SafeStrap are in the OPs for the two ROMs. SafeStrap will tell you how to root, I used TowelRoot two months ago.
If flashing the ROM you choose does not fix the APNs then you may need to reflash the modem that corresponds to your bootloader version. If you are uncertain about the versions of your bootloader and modem you can check with a PlayStore app, Phone Info *Samsung* by vndnguyen. Another option for checking is these commands in a Terminal Emulator:
Code:
getprop ro.bootloader
getprop | grep version.baseband
thnk's men , but now i have another , before i don't know , so i installed rom manager and CWM recovery , now when i boot in recovery i get this
secure fail : kernel
system software not authorized by verizon wireless
i can't fix , i can't enter in recovery :/
That was the point of my other post.
You said you were on 4.4.2. If you have the 4.4.2 bootloader (I535VRUDNE1), you can not flash any AOSP or CM based ROM. Your only option in this case would be to install Safestrap and then one of the two ROMs which I linked. You can not downgrade this bootloader without bricking the phone. If must use one of these ROMs to get a custom ROM, you could flash SuperLiteROM and use XPosed and it's mods to tweak your device.
There is the possibility that your phone has an earlier bootloader and a 4.4.x custom ROM, this would let you flash CM or AOSP. I posted two ways to check your bootloader version. I recommend you do one of these before trying to flash anything else to avoid bricking the phone. If you have the NE1 bootloader look back to my previous post.
Hi.
I did not flash the ROM that you mentioned (Primo-S)!
Which recovery do you use to flash the custom rom? I had some issues with CWMR and had to switch to TWRP ... to flash CM 11 on the Desire-S.
Regards.
Hi.
After rooting the phone (with CMWR) I flashed TWRP recovery to the HTC Desire S (TWRP-saga-2.8.7.0-unofficial.img)
After booting in recovery I installed CM 11 (cm-11-20150702-UNOFFICIAL-XNG3C-saga.zip)
Due to the limited space on the HTC Desire S I installed only a reduced set of GAPPS afterwards (gapps-444-base-20150818-1-signed.zip plus some Gapps afterwards).
