[Q]. Is There Any Safe Way??? - Sony Xperia Miro, Tipo (Dual), J, E

Many People get their xperia bricked after unlocking bootloader & flashing CM. So No LED No Vibrate ..Any Tips to make your device safe when flashing CM or Costom Kernel

well if you can't face the risk... you better not try..follow the procedure precisely.. and hope for the best.. nothing more..

Bro, in other devices That kind of possibilities are less

Well,I unlocked my bl using flashtool.
Didn't really get involved in any risk.
Chances of hard brick are relatively less.
Soft brick ? recover phone using flashtool, flash a stock firmware.

Any way to install cwm or any recovery on xperia j latest firmware...??

Now I want to install JB (Pure CM+: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2284432) but I need some help and don't wanna lost the money!
Thanks in advance
to unlock bootloader you must downlad SE bootloader unlocker, install fastboot drivers from its folder, type your imei and press unlock bootloader....very simple

Unlocking bootloader is not dangerous, installing custom kernels might be.

your phone didn't die then, it dies when it won't even vibrate or charge, you just didn't know how to flash a ROM.

Thanks for the reply. Are custom rom with J will fit into E? And the second question is whether to install the official rom that need to have unlocked bootloader or not ?
To install official Rom via pc companion , you will need a locked bootloader otherwise you will brick your device
Official updates can be installed via Emma the official Sony flashtool or androxyde flashtool if u have a locked Or unlocked bootloader
And about roms
I have never tried.. I don't wanna try either
Because I can't raise enough fund for a new device if I brick my phone

i am a junior too. got my phone 2 months ago and i am not a developer, even though i have some IT expertise. up until now, i messed up the android on this phone probably 20 times and reinstalled it everytime in a couple of minutes. i have tested lots of roms and kernels, some of them several times over and my impression is it's difficult to really brick it. maybe not having a charged battery while flashing, but that never happened to me.
try installing clockwork mod recovery after rooting, because it's really useful. then use extensively the backup it provides, before flashing something.
otherwise, follow the forums. these guys know what they do.
Thnaks it really helped

CWM? So you have flashed a custom kernel?
When you flash a custom kernel you'll have to unlock your bootloader, thus voiding your warranty/OTA updates.
Also, all custom kernels come with zip's, you'll have to flash these zips afterwards to make your WiFi work.
Please help porting cwm in mmx a51. There is no development on this device :banghead:
