I know for the S3 there's a 3000 mah battery made by Samsung. I haven't been able to find one for the S4, but I coul djust be missing something. Is there one out there or not? I'll be getting the S4 today or tomorrow and thought this may be something to look into.
Thanks!

Nope there isnt an official one from samsung.
I tried my mates 3000 mah extented battery for the S3 on my S4 without the back cover in a spigen slim armor case but it didnt fit.
This would definitely be something I'd be interested in purchase for my S4. If someone finds one please post it up!

I need an extra samsung oem 1650mah battery. Does anyone know where it can be bought in america?
i take it you checked google/ebay/amazon? i know there was another thread dedicated to this topic a while back. try to search for it.
It seems like all sellers are in europe which seems strange for an american phone
strange for an "american phone" made by a korean company?
Uh I didn't have to buy the phone in korea. As far as I know they don't sell t-mobile branded phones in korea.

i dont get why your so upset at the fact you cant just walk in a store and get a battery for a specific phone. i work in a place that sells phones, batteries and accessories. if we carried every battery made for every phone it would fill the store two times over. just order the battery.

This phone shares the exact same dimensions as a few other phones in the samsung line up and there are multiple capacities available that are all the exact same size battery (for instance, the Vibrant has a 1500mAh battery compared to the SGS4G's 1650mAh battery even though both batteries are exactly the same size) . So Im sure being that other SGS4G/Vibrant variants being sold elsewhere in the world, this is why you can find batteries in many different places around the world.
My local Tmobile store has them (Fort Worth TX)
It also seems amazon has them as well.
local store
lol, my local store in Plano Texas tried to sell me the vibrant battery kit....i had to ask the guy to read the mAh until he figured out he was wrong.
i don't care that they don't have them at the store, but jeez....at least know what you are selling!
This battery is fifty in a store. Go to amazon ten bucks

Also the 1800mAh one from the S2 Epic 4G Touch works great....I got mine from Amazon for $7 delivered in 4 days....it came from California
What is the BEST battery for this phone?
I just got the Galaxy S 4G (used), and it came with the original 2011 battery. It seemed to be "OK", but I wanted something better. I wanted something newer.
I purchased an "authentic" Samsung 1650 battery off eBay for $13. It has a 2013 manufacture date.
Well, I got it, and immediately felt something was "off". The font & spacing were slightly different than my old battery, and it had a "cheaper" feel to it, and its label wasn't even on the battery correctly. It looks like a typical counterfeit battery.
I pop it in my phone, and it seems to run out a lot quicker than my old battery. I've 0% to 100% cycled it a few times, and it still seems weak.
So, I could try to get another "authentic" Samsung that probably is a fake, or I can embrace the "after-market" batteries and go for an *extended* one.
I've seen 1750 mAh and 1900 mAh batteries. Are those any good? Do they at least last longer than a Samsung 1650 mAh battery?
This what I bought..they work great.
No problems at all and you get 2
plus a charger just for the battery's.

Hi all,
Starting this thread to discuss all about GS4 and its availability in India!! One stop shop for all the info.
As samsung has already informed S4 will have a global launch, so we can expect it very soon in our Indian market from the date of launch..
The device is expected to ship in coming month, April. So many street retailers will ship the device at launch time. Officially, the date is not given for India.
So guys chip your thoughts about the Galaxy S4.
This post will be updated with all useful info related to s4.
I knew it you'd be here xD, planning on getting one? Or permanent nexus fan?
Re: Official Indian Galaxy S4 Owners Thread -Discussion, Reviews and more
Buying sgs4 on my bday 8th may should be available by 5th may according to androidos
Likely to be <40k.. right? considering the S3 is now 29k.. surely over 40 would be too big a leap

Yes, under the 40k bracket, but you never know street prices for unofficial launched units.
S3 is 25k here in Mumbai.

Alright. I'll be moving from an iPhone 4 (yep.. that old). I have no preference between this and the HTC One.
I've been using the 16gb for a while and I know I'll be fine with the 32gb on both phones. The micro SD isnt important. Both have OTG.
I like the design on the HTC a lot more.
The battery life is important for me though. I dont see myself carrying an extra battery though.. unless the one in the phone wears out.
On my current phone, an hour of gaming uses up ~20% of the battery.. An hour of video playback on medium brightness uses up a bit over 10%.
The One X did really poorly on gaming.. The S3 did alright..
Could you guys give me an idea how the S4's battery is likely to perform.
That'll probably be the deciding factor for me.

Reading the octa core big.LITTLE concept and the massive 2600 mAh battery it will ship with, the S4 will keep you pretty happy in terms of battery.
S4 again will ouput raw power while the HTC One will take some hit due to heavily embedded Sense framework.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2
Most reviews seem to suggest Sense 5 is heavily toned down.. But I agree.. the bigger battery is a bonus. and the 4+4 should, in theory, be more efficient..
If Samsung hadnt gone for the hyper glazed back, it wouldve been an easy decison.. Probably the same if HTC had gone with a 2600 mah battery.
As it is, I'm confused. Battery life takes precedence though..

amazon dont ship to norway.
And then i found a thread showing anker battery exploded in sensation. i got second thoughts.
Any advice wich battery to order ? thanks
He, I was looking for another (bigger) battery as well. Already have the original HTC 1730 mAh battery from the Sensation XE, but was looking for something bigger. I haven't found the right one yet, but let me give you a warning:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1514929
This is why non-original batteries are cheaper. Of course, this might not happen to you, but there is a much bigger risk compared to an original one. Just a warning. Use the info any way you like. Sorry I can't be of any more help! I will continue my search for something safe and at least 1800 mAh or more, from the Netherlands that is
Good luck!

You can order anker from eBay. I live in Israel and it cost me like 22 dollars.
Anker is a big, known company. Their batteries considered to be the best. I don't think there is a risk of explosion, it's definitely safer than unbranded, cheaper batteries.

I'm based in Mumbai, and even though I live right in the middle of the city, I had a really tough time getting an original. I ended up buying (/getting ripped off) with a cheaper (apparently) Chinese mockup, which looked exactly like original. I didn't realise it at that moment, but the battery life is horrible. I can't leave the house without my powerbank.
I suggest you buy it online only. From what I know, Anker has a good extended battery, but it was on Amazon so you'll have to search around.

Has anyone found aluminum bumpers for the pixel xl yet? I had a devilcase (http://www.twdevilcase.com/en/) one back on my htc M7 and it was amazing. I tweeted them at https://twitter.com/devilcase_usa and posted on their facebook here: https://www.facebook.com/devilcaseservice
maybe if enough people do, they will produce one for the Pixels also. Their stuff is really high quality.

I had the Devilcase aluminum bumper on my HTC M9. I too loved it! I just commented on their Facebook as well.
They commented on my comment stating they do not have plans for developing one
Used to have one for my Nexus 4 and 5. While they look really nice, they severely decrease the strenght of any wireless signal.
