I am currently trying to order the anker battery but with no luck.
amazon dont ship to norway.
And then i found a thread showing anker battery exploded in sensation. i got second thoughts.
Any advice wich battery to order ? thanks
He, I was looking for another (bigger) battery as well. Already have the original HTC 1730 mAh battery from the Sensation XE, but was looking for something bigger. I haven't found the right one yet, but let me give you a warning:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1514929
This is why non-original batteries are cheaper. Of course, this might not happen to you, but there is a much bigger risk compared to an original one. Just a warning. Use the info any way you like. Sorry I can't be of any more help! I will continue my search for something safe and at least 1800 mAh or more, from the Netherlands that is
Good luck!

You can order anker from eBay. I live in Israel and it cost me like 22 dollars.
Anker is a big, known company. Their batteries considered to be the best. I don't think there is a risk of explosion, it's definitely safer than unbranded, cheaper batteries.

Im just wondering. Ive looked but only found a 1930mah Gold brand battery that should fit without replacing the back cover.
Any links or batteries that will give a little more life?

This is already being discussed in the galaxy s forums but nobody has made the point if this works or not for more life.

I will give it a shot and buy it if someone can confirm that it would actually work and power up on our phone.
NM it was for galaxy s euro version.
I got an email about this the other day:

I need an extra samsung oem 1650mah battery. Does anyone know where it can be bought in america?
i take it you checked google/ebay/amazon? i know there was another thread dedicated to this topic a while back. try to search for it.
It seems like all sellers are in europe which seems strange for an american phone
strange for an "american phone" made by a korean company?
Uh I didn't have to buy the phone in korea. As far as I know they don't sell t-mobile branded phones in korea.

i dont get why your so upset at the fact you cant just walk in a store and get a battery for a specific phone. i work in a place that sells phones, batteries and accessories. if we carried every battery made for every phone it would fill the store two times over. just order the battery.

This phone shares the exact same dimensions as a few other phones in the samsung line up and there are multiple capacities available that are all the exact same size battery (for instance, the Vibrant has a 1500mAh battery compared to the SGS4G's 1650mAh battery even though both batteries are exactly the same size) . So Im sure being that other SGS4G/Vibrant variants being sold elsewhere in the world, this is why you can find batteries in many different places around the world.
My local Tmobile store has them (Fort Worth TX)
It also seems amazon has them as well.
local store
lol, my local store in Plano Texas tried to sell me the vibrant battery kit....i had to ask the guy to read the mAh until he figured out he was wrong.
i don't care that they don't have them at the store, but jeez....at least know what you are selling!
This battery is fifty in a store. Go to amazon ten bucks

Also the 1800mAh one from the S2 Epic 4G Touch works great....I got mine from Amazon for $7 delivered in 4 days....it came from California
What is the BEST battery for this phone?
I just got the Galaxy S 4G (used), and it came with the original 2011 battery. It seemed to be "OK", but I wanted something better. I wanted something newer.
I purchased an "authentic" Samsung 1650 battery off eBay for $13. It has a 2013 manufacture date.
Well, I got it, and immediately felt something was "off". The font & spacing were slightly different than my old battery, and it had a "cheaper" feel to it, and its label wasn't even on the battery correctly. It looks like a typical counterfeit battery.
I pop it in my phone, and it seems to run out a lot quicker than my old battery. I've 0% to 100% cycled it a few times, and it still seems weak.
So, I could try to get another "authentic" Samsung that probably is a fake, or I can embrace the "after-market" batteries and go for an *extended* one.
I've seen 1750 mAh and 1900 mAh batteries. Are those any good? Do they at least last longer than a Samsung 1650 mAh battery?
This what I bought..they work great.
No problems at all and you get 2
plus a charger just for the battery's.

Whatever is the case, the Andida company and other after market companies like it are notoriously known to over rate their batteries on an average of 30% or so. Just Google it.

Yeah, got mine of amazon, just choose express postage if it is urgent?

I think its says on amazon
In any case, free postage is usually between 3-5 UK working days so express would be less than 3 UK working days. If it is next day/2 day post urgent then I think there's an option for that as well - there are quite a few post options. Be advised though that the shorter time it takes, the higher the postage price!

Bro you'll have to buy it online, because i checked Star Market (Karachi) and all i found is just an normal 1520mah Chinese battery, maybe you can check olx but it's not looking like available there as well, online purchasing is the only solution if you have credit card/debit card
Brother Pakistan main kahi bhi nahi available hay agar hay tu link send kar do
Anker is not locally available anywhere in Pakistan.
Only option is to buy it online..

That's exactly what I'm looking for. If someone can find it in Pakistan please let me know too, or if someone can import from US/Europe I'd like to get one too. We can finalize a deal.

That's what we are saying, it ships to us by ordering online, but we would like to see it in Pakistani markets, not everyone can buy things online, by the way one more thing, seller is accepting only paypal which is also not in Pakistan
the only way i've figured out to buy batteries in Pakistan is through Homeshopping.pk network. you can check their website where they have this youpickwebuy.com domain where people order things on ebay and amazon etc, they'll buy it for you with the actual price and the commision (which is not much) and you'll get the battery.
i dont represent home shopping. i got a quote from them for a book i plan to order through ebay and i think this option will work.
its too damn bad!,neither Anker nor gold battery is available in Pakistan.Chinese 1450mah battery is available but it does not gives any great job!
All so in nigeria. Been tryna get one of the ankers but no way. So damn sad. :banghead:

I'm based in Mumbai, and even though I live right in the middle of the city, I had a really tough time getting an original. I ended up buying (/getting ripped off) with a cheaper (apparently) Chinese mockup, which looked exactly like original. I didn't realise it at that moment, but the battery life is horrible. I can't leave the house without my powerbank.
I suggest you buy it online only. From what I know, Anker has a good extended battery, but it was on Amazon so you'll have to search around.
Looking for desire s battery in india? I bought one last week at 600rs. No warranty or guarantee but its 1st copy of original(can say original only) and works fine.
