For anyone that wants a KitKat like experience... I highly recommend the new Nova Launcher Beta (G+ Community here) and hen buy the KitKat Experience Icon Pack for $1 ! It's awesome and gives you a KitKat like feel, and you can download various free KitKat wallpapers from the Play Store as well!

I just ... do not get Minecraft. I tried the free version a while back on my phone, and I couldn't imagine anything more BORING.... I guess I'm not the target market.
I already owned Swiftkey, bought it when it was brand new on the Android Market as an upgrade from their earlier free beta. THAT was a long time ago! And, I have it free from Amazon LOL....
Have Sketchbook Mobile from Amazon's free apps.. and I do not use it at all...
Soundhound is popular, yeah, but I do not ever see myself using it. I never feel I just have to know what the name of a particular song I hear in public is...
The others? Meh.
I hear from a birdie that ADW-EX is gonna be one of the 10 centers soon though!

I'm really looking forward to this. I'd love any launcher that gives a 1 per line alphabetical launcher

You should try SSLauncher. It allows you to create something it calls application groups that are in list form. You can have all your apps in that list or just categories, like games or office or photo apps.
It's also one of the most customizable launchers on the market. You can even have a different wallpaper on each screen!

I purchased it five minutes ago. I'm a little disappointed. I love the concept of it, but it's a little too minimalistic at the moment. There are only a few settings, and there's no real option to customize it. I guess the dev will update it a bit in the near future so it's all good, but i expected much more. Also, no lite version? Come on...
Looks good - will probably wait till it's a little bit more feature rich.
Hi mate looks awesome but do you have a test version for how it looks? Or only the payed one?

I agree. I love trying different launches and have purchased several of them. However, all of them had a free version for me to try first.

Played with it for about 30 mins and got super bored. Same old stuff thats in all the other launchers. SSLauncher already has the whole app wallpaper.
Is there a way to "run" Android 1.0 on the GS3? I was thinking it would be cool and throwback..! :cyclops:

exactly my point!
If even doable many many man hours of work for a port just for two minutes of play time. Can't see it being doable.
I play Nintendo but on my jb phone. Sounds like a big under taking. About as bad as a sense rom.

If you are on an AOSP rom that has Theme Chooser, perhaps there is a classic android theme out there that you can use. In addition, you can use a launcher that appears like the classic android launcher. This way it's relatively less work and the feeling is more or less the same,

I still play nintendo. Emulators don't quite do some games justice.
A more apt analogy would be "Do you still run Windows 95?"
The theme idea is probably best, you get a nostalgic look, but keep the stability and functionality of 4.1 or whatever you're running.
I wonder how many people could be nostalgic for something that is only 4 years old though?
