I'm really looking forward to this. I'd love any launcher that gives a 1 per line alphabetical launcher
His Twitter has been pretty quiet about anything development related and he scratched his tweet lanes app so I wouldn't get too excited.. :/

You should try SSLauncher. It allows you to create something it calls application groups that are in list form. You can have all your apps in that list or just categories, like games or office or photo apps.
It's also one of the most customizable launchers on the market. You can even have a different wallpaper on each screen!

I purchased it five minutes ago. I'm a little disappointed. I love the concept of it, but it's a little too minimalistic at the moment. There are only a few settings, and there's no real option to customize it. I guess the dev will update it a bit in the near future so it's all good, but i expected much more. Also, no lite version? Come on...
Looks good - will probably wait till it's a little bit more feature rich.
Hi mate looks awesome but do you have a test version for how it looks? Or only the payed one?

I agree. I love trying different launches and have purchased several of them. However, all of them had a free version for me to try first.

I went ahead and purchased it. Definitely support the development to get it out of beta and add more features. I am pleased with it.

Played with it for about 30 mins and got super bored. Same old stuff thats in all the other launchers. SSLauncher already has the whole app wallpaper.

Dont know where this came from, who suppotlrts/built it, but its crazy smooth and has pinch to zoom and in my opinion is the most original launcher Ive ever seen.

if its from the same developer as launcherpro, then this is definitely in its infancy. It lacks alot of settings. but, I hope its legit and kept up with.

Did you try to pinch ? It will zoom and icons will be bigger, that's the whole point of this launcher.
Anyway, great idea, but there's still some work to do. The icons don't seem to be kept in memory ; it loads again every time, which is a bit annoying (100+ apps).
Market says it's not compatible with my phone (Xperia Arc), so i don't get any download link in Market
Maybe I'm just paranoid, but why does a launcher need to have access to make calls and services that can cost me money?

Here is a link to the site. I've registered for a trial as well. The registration apk has access to the following: USB storage contents, network communication and phone status/ID.
TSF apparently has to modify the shell to work on your Note before sending you a Beta to test. After it is installed they will continue to work on your shell, modify it based on its performance and send updates accordingly. You will be monitored so if you have any qualms about giving these developers access to your system this is not for you.
http://www.tsfui.com/shell/index.html
Any news with that launcher, is it becoming available anytime soon?
Anyone can share the testing apk for us to taste?

hah hate to wait for everything : (
Most ugly icons i seen. Just like miui. Will probebly taka a lot of battery and memory. And you loose performance.
That looks horrible IMO. Icon design is horrible, the general UI looks terrible, and too much is going on there.
(This is my opinion. Not yours)

Yes you are right, looks like tat home, but has additional features like the box folders and the fan out of the apps icons, as well as the not aligned positioning of the icons. Will wait until available to try it out.

I like it.. Hopefully it gets finished and not dropped. Also since I own SPB mobile shell I hope they take their ques from TSF. Both are fancy but TSF seems to make the stuff you use everyday fancy. SPB looks nice when I want to show off to friends but 90% of the cool stuff I don't use day in and day out.

This is easily the most fully featured and accurate ICS Lauchers released for non-ICS versions of Android to date. Very customizable too.
I've only found two issues with it so far
Desktop Vizualizer will not create custom icons
PhotoContact widget does not work
Yeah I found it while digging around xda. Very good and accurate. Only problem is that it seems kind of laggy, at least compared to go launcher.

Agreed. My only gripe about it is not being able to hide the dock. But I like being able to open the notification bar by a simple swipe down anywhere on the screen.

Yeah man, had to let the madness die down or I was gonna get myself banned. Not really much going on anyway, except for the new Bullet rom.....which im dying to try out but gotta have the in-call dialer issue fixed first. Other than that, and the Kexec bypass, pretty quiet on the A2 front :/ I'm a flashaholic so im having withdrawls, gonna get an HTC One X or Samsung Galaxy S III here within the next month or two, plenty of dev for them!
via Atrix 2/VictoryROM/XDA app
I am partial to Go launcher myself. Holo is growing on me though. Only things I find wanting are gestures for doc apps (folders are an ok substitute) and ability to scroll vertically in app drawer. It is very snappy and customizable.

I tried really hard to replace Go Launcher with Holo but it's just not happening. Go is faster, more customizable, but the ICS experience is unbeatable with Holo. I know it's still in Beta at the moment so I'll def check back once it sheds the Beta tag.....if I don't already have my SGSIII by then

Ok so I'm making a ROM for myself (I'll probably release it too), I'm starting with Sense 2.1 GB because I want the HTC Music app and a couple other things. I'm going to remove Sense and debloat the heck out of it. My question is in the title. I'm looking for the perfect launcher and am open to suggestions, I would really like to find a unique one. Please include what it is that you like about the launcher. I have tried the following and and looking for something else: Hi, Zeam, ADW, Holo, Lightning, Go, Smart, MX, QQ (this one I do like), EZ, Sense, Regina.
Here is a screenie of the project with the QQ Launcher
And here is the EZ Launcher, the runner up at this point... I don't like the fact you can't change the dock.
Just got the MIUI v4 Launcher working. Me likey. Facebook is borked tho.

I don't understand what is up with Facebook tho, I have never had problems until this week. Now I get fc and refusing to open and all kinds of stupid crap, mind you it is when I am playing around with ROMs but still
facebook released a completely recoded app this week, that could be why.
They finally stepped away from the sluggish html5 rendering system it had been relying on and now is working with a native code base
